Excited to be a part of this forum

I'm using Big Bud from Advanced nutrients which is a potassium and phosphorus booster? But still having the problem? Are the plants maybe demanding more feed

As my nuits range at full dose (advanced nutrients) give me a too high ppm reading im having to use half doses at the min or double the amount of water to get a safer range ie the 500-550ppm should I try the 600-700ppm range keeping ratios the same at half dose an back of the diluting down a bit?

I'm confused by ratios tho and what measurements/doses needed that should be given as I follow the advanced nutrient feeding app chart! My base nutrients micro grow and bloom are using 4ml of each per litre or 16ml per gallon, but then making it a half dose I add the same amount of water to this mix to achieve the 500-550 would maybe if told u my ratios on base nutrients you may be able to help solve the doses needed? Sorry so many questions just info I need to learn

Ok how much of what nutrients are you using?

See this is where a lot of new growers get caught buying to many different nutrients not understanding all of this.

Honestly a single nutrient like dynagrow or a 2-3 part is the way to start. You need nothing more than this to have a perfectly healthy grow.

This and pushing plants to hard are the biggest reasons for reduced yields or failure.

Keep it simple… but let get this figured out

I use ph perfect from Advanced Nutrients 3?part grow is 1-0-4 bloom is 1-3-4 and micro 2-0-0

I then use these supplements all at 2ml per ltr as stated but calmag at quarter dose still

But as I'm only using half doses with the base nutrients I'm also only using half doses of supplements this is the correct thing to do right?

Many OGs recommend halving all amounts, when adding any nutrients or supplements. Watch and observe the reaction over a couple days and then adjust accordingly. You can always "add" but it is almost impossible to "remove:, and the damage is already done, which leaves you responding to an adverse reaction you created, instead of simply supporting the plants efforts to grow or remedy itself from the original problem you were addressing. Slowly, purposefully, carefully, and with great patience are the successful growers.

When I first started, and I am still a newbie, I threw EVERYTHING at my first three grows. It was successfully disastrous in so many ways. Then I did a 180, and went 100% Organic. So now I am on my 5th grow and still struggling. Why, because you have to crawl first in order to walk. You have to fail to learn. Any growing methodology requires work. I mean yes, you can throw a seed in a pot and just wing it. But, that is not typically what new growers are looking for, when they finish the grow and DONT have "High Times" looking flowers. Instead, the reaction is "Wow, how come my grow doesn't look like all the shit I see advertised by product manufacturers pushing their products at me."

Just follow along with the great resources here on this forum and you can't go wrong. Your in good hands with Aqua Man and the rest of this great grow team.

Ok wish i knew this sooner…. PH perfect is a whole different animal. Only use EXACTLY what they recommend…. No other additional products and NO PH ADJUSTING ANYTHING.

Use it AT THE RECOMMENDED DOSAGE. No more and no less

Different animal haha what do you mean? And you say no additional products? Just advanced nutrients feed chart / app tells Different with using the additional supplements. Here's a lil idea of my feed chart

App is wrong…unless its specifically from AN for PH perfect because they use different chelates and it has an affect on availability.

You can use what you like but cannot even count how many times i have dealt with people having issues with PH perfect because they try to use other products and ph adjust them.

Its chemistry and thats why they work at a large PH range unlike other nutrients. But you fuck with them and you are almost assured to have issues. 90% of the time i have seen it in hydro but i have also seen that in soil.

Up to you but thats my advice. Follow the Ph perfect directions to the letter. But its up to you

If you google what im saying im pretty confident you can find examples of this out there. Not well known but not unknown either

Do u recommend i go to full dose with base ph perfect nuits? Ppm would ge crazy high tho right

Will this be ok to just cut out the supplements? But carry on with calmag at quarter dose

Follow the exact dose and do not ph adjust yes. That is 100% my recommendation

So all the supplements brought was a bit of a waste as I shouldn't of been using them? Only calmag for during flowering?

No…. No cal mag no nothing bro…. I honestly hate ph perfect for a few reasons. I suggest using it up and then moving to something else. Your cal mag and supps will be beneficial then

All the normal rules do not apply to that nutrient. It may seem foreign but thats the truth.
