Most don’t realize that the smell they work to achieve is actually a defense mechanism of the plant itself. So, my deduction is, if it was in a perfect situation..there would be no smell at all!
I force them as best as I can by cutting the heck out of my RH, mid flower. This stacks those stinky crystals as they try to protect the nucleus of the bud. (Better than looking for a deer to lick or bite it) My house reeks! You can smell it outside of my house without a single window open!
