Do you have a list of ingredients for Clear Rez? I thought it was the same as UC Roots but it might be different. UC roots DIY is just pool shock. There was a guy on the web that went by Bill Farthing. He might be the owner of Mr Fulvic but regardless he had a site called open salts that listed many DIY solutions for expensive products you can make easily at home. I sometimes still use his homemade AN Hammerhead formula. Guy had some really cool DIY stuff. There is a hack out there to make your own clear rez on the web or YouTube. Then you can run the cloner a couple weeks if it’s a larger one that runs cooler and ph maintained.
It works for me. I used to have problems with gnats but this cleared it up. I add it to all my new dirt.I dont think that will kill gnats… that bacteria is to prevent other bacterial and fungal infections. That specific brand is probably the best bang for the buck though. Very high counts and much more concentrated than hydrogaurd
No Anthem I don’t. I just remember seeing it so know it’s out there.Do you have a list of ingredients for Clear Rez? I thought it was the same as UC Roots but it might be different. Yes anytime and can use it as a preventative for the whole growOk guys.. so i'm picking up the mosquito bits today... is it okay to use this in flower?
Sweet tyYes anytime and can use it as a preventative for the whole grow
NopeSo with the mosquito bits do HAVE to remove the granules? @Aqua Man
Thank goodness lolNope
Honestly IMO they should be used in any media as a preventative…. There is no downside. I know if i ever do coco, peat or soil again it should be part of the planning but knowing my arrogance towards growing stuff i will in all likelihood forgo this if i have to go out and make a purchase… yeah im that lazy lolMosquito bits FTW.
Had them bad on this grow, got them eradicated while still in veg. Takes about a week to see them all disappear.
Try the nematodes they worked for me. I didn't have much luck with the bits either. I think mabey I had to much biology in the soil already for the bacteria in the bits to dominate. So I've used the mosquito bits for 2 weeks. they love the bits they're even landing in my 5gallon buckets and possibly drinking it for fun lmao
I mix my soil with perlite that has diatomaceous earth in it and that seems to be keeping gnats down. Not sure what it is but I barely get gnats in my grows. I hang sticky traps and usually ,by the end of the grow, there's more of my hair stuck on there than gnats.
Be glad you still have hair....Not sure what it is but I barely get gnats in my grows. I hang sticky traps and usually ,by the end of the grow, there's more of my hair stuck on there than gnats.
Easy way to distinguish is how they fly. Gnats buzz all around, root aphids fly in straight lines like they are on a mission to fuck things upI’ll check when I get home . I’ve never seen a mature root aphid . They do look quite similar tho
I save my traps and use them like a toupe'.........Be glad you still have hair....
Yea I can't tell to be honest i've looked at quite a few. They fly around very randomly and kinda fast.Easy way to distinguish is how they fly. Gnats buzz all around, root aphids fly in straight lines like they are on a mission to fuck things up
Now I can tell my wife I’m related to root aphids. Thanks for that posting. I didn’t have an excuse till now, lol.Easy way to distinguish is how they fly. Gnats buzz all around, root aphids fly in straight lines like they are on a mission to fuck things up
