Like any diet the first few weeks are the hardest. Look up Dr. Berg on Facebook. He's very knowledgeable on Keto and has lots of great videos on it. I was certified through his program as a Keto coach so if you need help getting started I can give you the low down as to what to expect and how to stick to the diet. If you can get through the purge phase you'll drop weight like a crack head.
I was doing an apartment building rehab and as I was carrying some debris from the demolition to the cargo elevator my pants fell down to my ankles I was losing weight so fast. At one point I was losing around a pound to two pounds almost daily. What I like about Keto is I can eat meat and fat all I want but what is hard is to stay away from grains like bread and beans and sugar. Once I was on Keto I was really surprised at how much stuff we eat has hidden sugar in it.
When I went to the doctor one time for a checkup he did a full blood panel on me. He called me and asked me to come in to discuss the blood panel. He'd never done that before so I was a little worried. When I got in his office he asked me what I was doing because the blood panel showed an abundance of HDL (GOOD fat) in my bloodstream. He said he was so used to seeing high levels of LDL(bad fat) in his patients he wanted to find out what I was doing so he could recommend it to his other patients.
