Which is why I'm not iffy on labeling, I mean it's more professional but who knows what the strain actually is without genetic sequencing (?)

My take was you need a lot of luck and long life span to find real sativa genetics anymore.
Or maybe better said you won't find much real sativa in most crosses today.

That’s the part I find most interesting too. Strain names are treated like reliable labels, but without genetic verification they can only tell you so much. Two products sold under the same name might have very different genetics, terpene profiles, and effects depending on the source. It makes batch testing and clear producer information seem more useful than simply relying on “Sativa” or “Indica.”
