Dudes got bugs, mildew, mold, all kinds of shit infested down there in Ocala. Fuck that guy's seeds.Greenpoint seeds are always fresh
I like his stuff, starting some Purple Chem tomorrow. Just grew two of his strains last few runs and back in 19-21 I also grew some, it was fireDudes got bugs, mildew, mold, all kinds of shit infested down there in Ocala. Fuck that guy's seeds.
Go to Seedlys and get seeds if youre looking for cheap and fresh.
All those seeds on the GPS website are whote label BS. Once heisen left gp, gu ran that place into the fucken dirt, hes NOT a breeder and never will be, hes only ever been a salesman and thats all hell ever be.
A dirty sleazy businessman
Yeah, himself.I remember heizen from the farm, he's with somebody else now I can't remember who
What 2 strains? And anything from 19-21 wouldve been heisens work...Just grew two of his strains last few runs and back in 19-21 I also grew some, it was fire
Seedlys shipping pretty fast...weekish....

in that pic.I probably get some hate from this, but if I was going to buy seeds I'd get Cali Connection.
Indeed, price was right...There's a whole lottain that pic.
No better way to find out if the hype is real or not than to grow it yoursel
A very long time ago on a forum far far away, the late Subcool gave me shit about CC.
I think the story was the same back then as it today with so many breeders..stolen genetics, butthurt, etc but I didn't care because I was getting some really good weed from CC seed stock. So no hate from me man. Often times, there's a Picasso at a garage sale no matter what haters have to say
I'm aware that would have been heisen beans work. I have a grow diary on here with those two strains mentioned if you're interested. Sounds like there may be personal issues between you two, but that's not my business.Yeah, himself.

Agree, I ran swerve's La Affy for years and used it for chucking, it's his prices and especially his 30 or $35 for shipping, I won't pay thatI probably get some hate from this, but if I was going to buy seeds I'd get Cali Connection.
The Dip-N-Stix I grew was straight FIRE. They were GPS beans before him and Heisen split. Those should be goodSeedlys shipping pretty fast...weekish....

Hard to beat damn near a dollar per bean prices.Indeed, price was right...
Noob here. I only have a two outdoor grows and one indoor grow under my belt. I've covered eight strains in those grows. I'm a sucker for good marketing and am too easily tempted to try something based off of a good description or review, lol. Hence, I've had eight strains mixed in across those grows. I'm at a point where growing anything is a good learning experience. So i started with autos and now i am into photos but i haven't been keeping up with the new strains and breeders so I would really appreciate some recommendations. What are your favorites from everything you have grown?
Indeed, price was right...
You should see the rest....
Figured I'd fukaround
I think most of it is hype. I remember when I first started growing 5 years ago I chased a lot of the instagram bag appeal weed and noticed that a lot of the packs were 250 plus then after doing seed projects and netting over 10k seeds it makes me mad that people are charging those prices for seeds. The only situation where I can tolerate it is CSI Humbolt charging 200 opposed to 150 per pack of the Triangle Kush S1 because it was a really hard plant to reverse and barely produced any seeds but anyone charging 300 a pack for unworked untested f1 crosses is an absolute clownYou collecting?
I've been seeing people splay out 100s of packs like that on reddit.
I think seeds and the packaging is becoming something like Pokemon or baseball cards the way people collect them.
I assume the $300+ packs are not really about the genetics inside but more about the collector value in that market of trading packs for the name or art on the pack.
Most I see have the AI art and all that too. Like I even wonder if something will gain value from a misprint or limited run on a misspelling or something like how the value of defective money or cards go up because of the flaw.
This is a reasonable assumption. I cried a little when I spent $150 on my kitchen sink seeds. They're no longer being produced so I assume limited inventory. Ya know... supply and demand.I assume the $300+ packs are not really about the genetics inside but more about the collector value in that market of trading packs for the name or art on the pack.

Yeah saving up, stuff I can try different grow styles later on that may fail on me and I won't care to much about. You collecting?

A dollar per bean you say?The Dip-N-Stix I grew was straight FIRE. They were GPS beans before him and Heisen split. Those should be good

I did the same thing with Greenpoints reverse auctions, stocked up on a bunch of strains. I may have to sift through some hermies and freaks to get a keeper, but my Greenpoint grows have all produced some quality smoke. I've grown out A LOT of hermies though, so stay vigilant if you're popping GPS beans.

$300 sounds nuts but you could be onto something there.
only thing I've ever grown from Solfire or Exotic Genetix has been prone to herms. nothing worse than having to frantically check your plants everyday and pick off sacs. That's not a breeder, that's a pollen chuckerIts all hype honestly
look at solfire, Every drop sells out
Ive grown a few things from them, nothing special.
Man fuck that inflatory bullshit.I'll always balk at that price point but have spent up to $150 per pack at times and cannot tell you it has anything over packs I've paid $20-$50.
It's foreign because I've always thought seeds were bought to be grown but I think there's a very young collector market spiking prices. Those collectors may not even have the intention of growing any of it but looking to resell later as if it's "rare" or "extinct".
I've had better results from f2 seeds I've obtained for free than any pack I've ever boughtI'll always balk at that price point but have spent up to $150 per pack at times and cannot tell you it has anything over packs I've paid $20-$50.

That's what I want to do, i want to take or create some "new strains" or seeds/genetics that are properly stabilized up to f5s for example.I've had better results from f2 seeds I've obtained for free than any pack I've ever bought
I'm currently working on something similar. I crossed a lemon wookie f4 female to an 88g13hp male and I'm at week 7 on 2 different phenotypes of the testers and taking them to f2 in the spring. That's what I want to do, i want to take or create some "new strains" or seeds/genetics that are properly stabilized up to f5s for example.

Like, artificial scarcity?
Pfft.
That's not "Tegridy"Around here, we call it "manufactured exclusivity".
It's a plague infecting everything in the market place. Housing, cars, and food mostly but it's also in seeds, concentrates, flower, testing, growing equipment and so much more.
When AC Infinity rolls out a product but makes it preorder only, that's manufactured exclusivity getting people to buy something they can't even own today but think they need it.
Take something average and making it available only to a few increases it's value. Much like when lobster was such a trash commodity it was fed to prison inmates. Rebranding changed it and now it's a luxury food.
Nothing personal at all, ive never met him I just know hes an asshole.Sounds like there may be personal issues between you two, but that's not my business.
Thanks my friend. I appreciate the well thought out response.Noob here. I only have a two outdoor grows and one indoor grow under my belt. I've covered eight strains in those grows. I'm sure you know these two sources are regularly recommended by members on here: B2ACG and Captain Redbeard Seeds. I believe both have supported this forum. I'm not qualified to speak to breeder quality, but purchasing once each from both of these vendors have been positive experiences. I'll definitely purchase again from both of these vendors with no hesitation.
As far as breeders and new offerings, I'm intrigued by Titan at Robin Hood Seeds. A buddy giving me seedling he started from a Robin Hood freebie (Butter Wavez) is what started me down the growing path. It has held up as the favorite of what I've grown, so far. I think Titan is also tied to Square One Genetics. I'm pretty sure that Robin Hood Seeds is sort of Titan's playground for pumping out interesting crosses. This might go against every rule about due diligence and proofing measures, but he has a loyal following. There are a few vendors that carry his drops and a lot of them sell out in a day or two. Black Dog Seed Reserve is one of them.
Take all of the above with a grain of salt. I don't have any proven insight to share. Just some stuff I'm eyeballing as I find my own way. If you are on Discord, Titan's Corner is the server where Titan gives notice of pending seed drops. There's a bunch of people on there who share their grows. For all I know, this is a horrible recommendation. I only know that Butter Waves was a popular grow amongst people I share with. If it hadn't been a freebie, I would have already purchased more seeds. I even communicated with Titan hoping to find he had some he'd part with, lol.
I plan to run seeds I've purchased to learn and develop my growing style/methods. Right now, I think my lean for future seed purchases will involve landrace varieties. I do want to explore some known indica leaning hybrids, but that's mainly a search for a solid strain for sleepy time edibles for myself and interest regular-use interest of a family member. I may also try a Robin Hood hybrid, or two, to satisfy my curiosity, but I'm not solid on that. Some strains from Mass Medical Strains has sparked similar curiosity. I'll probably make the same wrong turns dozens of times before landing on the right path. for me.
Good luck with your search. I hope someone here points you to precisely what you're looking for.

I agree, I don't know this dude either, personally, but from my opinion off of what I've seen, the "GU" guy is not "legit"Nothing personal at all, ive never met him I just know hes an asshole.
The Greenpoint Seeds that was once known is no more, thats all im saying.
If you want the same quality seeds you were getting before, you'll find them at seedlys.
Ill never send another dollar of mine to that sleezeball Anthony Gualdi, and many other members feel the same way. Then he started that weedseed coin and rug pulled everyone. Hes a shitbag.

No Greenpoint here. I bought some white label seeds from Garden Of Green and they were nothing spectacular and they all seemed like they were the same seeds in every pack, but labeled as something different.I think just about everybody has a similar opinion and it's not just on this forum. I still see support from time to time but not sure if it's fake reviews, just comes across my radar and I chuckle.
I see Greenpoint as the Bitcoin vending machine scam of seeds and Gu is the Nigerian Prince who needs my $20 today and will pay me back $200 tomorrow.
Like those crypto scams though, I can tell the old lady stuffing her cash in the machine that it's scam and she's being robbed but she'll just tell me to fuck off and MYOB so why bother? Doubt OP buys into them now so the work is done![]()
