Movies/Documentaries (general TV programs)

Movies123 is where I tried to watch it twice a month apart. It’s to dark in the beginning and both the audio and subtitles aren’t in English.

I think you watched the copycat movie released at the same time?

I’ll try the new link you posted. 👊
No way, I don't like the audio or the heads walking around the movie theatre with grainy imagery.

The other site you linked was good. Much better copy. Watched it over the weekend since we spent a lot of it in bed. 👊

Not sure it’s going to happen but I didn’t look very hard…

Prey 2 was a cancelled first-person shooter game developed by Human Head Studios and to be published by Bethesda Softworks. It was planned as a sequel to Prey. Though Prey 2 was announced by 3D Realms in 2006, a few months after release of the first game, development work at Human Head Studios did not begin in earnest until 2009, after the rights for Prey had transferred from 3D Realms ultimately to ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda. Bethesda formally announced their title in early 2011, which revealed a change of the player's main character and of gameplay to a more open world game. Human Head quietly ceased development on the game in late 2011 for unstated reasons despite having progressed to a near alpha release state. Subsequently, several industrial rumors circulated that Prey 2 had been cancelled or changed developers, including evidence that Arkane Studios had taken over development.

The "Prey" predator movie on Hulu.

On another note, that game "prey" was cool too.

Aww the mini desk and PC

These fuckers (BoS) have the Ark!

Sidenote: I think it was some sort of a "advanced technological device" in reality.

Who knows?

Wasn’t the last thinking that it was a power source, a reactor?
I need to go back and check, but it's been said the box itself was "conductive" and something was placed inside it, something along those lines.

Some of the "lore" is that the Ark would have sat in the "kings" chamber, in that granite "box".

The missing capstone is a piece of the puzzle....

That stone box is considered a sarcophagus.

I do not believe that.

The granite blocks of the pyramid is high quartz supposedly,

It's a piezoelectric pyramid.

You know looking at this picture again

The whole fuckin room is "off"

I dont know, id love to go there for my self and see it.

here's a ridiculous slasher one... it's so bad it's good!!!! not really....

really!?! it's still ghostbusters!!! i'm not annoyed by melissa mccarthy as much as most people are. i thought it was funny!!

Best one out IMO. Loaded up with SNL cast and writers like the original so for me it's more legit than any of the new versions.🙃

Kate McKinnon had my side hurting and that running joke with the won-ton soup was my kind of silliness.
I can't watch the old ones now. Loved them as a kid but can barely get thru 1`and won't even try with 2.
Seen all in theaters except for Frozen Empire. It's on netflix and I've tried to watch it 3 times but end up turning it off because of Paul Rudd. Just too much fatigue there but maybe in a couple years I can watch it and will feel fresh. I'm burned out on an over saturation of Paul Rudd, Jenna Ortega, Pedro Pascal so their movies get pushed back for me now.

Lately I've been on a Michael Shannon kick because everything he's done is worth a watch IMO.
Does really well in historic films and is in two on Netflix, Death by Lightning and Nuremberg.
DbL is about the rise and assassination of James Garfield and Nuremberg is about Herman Goering and the inner workings of getting him to trial

Another but it's a very long watch, I think around 12 hours total, American Revolution by Ken Burns on PBS

i even bought that ghostbusters on prime a while back!! haha

i liked all the newer ones, my only complaint is my own and just that a few came out quickly and i wasn't sure at times which ones i watched and which was new. i liked the kids in the newer ones... paul rudd.. ehhh.. like ya say.

added to that list is chris pratt, john ceno, and channing tatum... not in my house!

oh i've seen way too much of michael shannon lately!! hahaha in a funny way... about a month ago the shape of water came out on one of the streamers we sub to and my woman has a mild obsession with that movie!!! i'll come to bed and there she is mouth wide open staring at the inside of her eyelids with the shape of water on the tv!!!!! hahahahaha how good can a movie be if ya fall asleep to it all the time!!! i mean more than a handful of times now in just a few weeks!!!! hahaha

i'll admit i've nodded off a few times watching alien over the years.. and i love that movie!!

Hadn’t seen this before so gave it a chance. It was okay and seemed to try and follow the last one. Has holes or gaps in the story but it killed a few hours on a rainy day.

Chris Pratt x a billion and my wife would put Mark Walberg at the top of that list too. Toss The Rock in there too but I think he's on the way out anyways. He's deflated now so that's something. Looks weird or maybe just normal and not all huge and puffy now. Melissa McCarthy was there for a while and still is, lucky that GB movie came out when it did!

I bought Answer The Call and Afterlife probably for a prime sale or something. I browse the $4.99 selection often lol. I think those are the only two GB movies I own. The Answer The Call cast and staff also did The Heat and I own that in the unrated version. I think my answer the call is unrated too.

Man all I need is some people speaking with a British accent and I'm out like a light! Freaking lullaby man. I cannot make it thru any old james Bond movie without going unconscious! I also go to sleep to old tv shows like Green Acres, Columbo, and Twilight Zone

Next on my watch list is the John Wick series on HBO. Still haven't seen them yet. Started with 1 but was super drunk a long time ago. I remember him waking up to see his dead puppy then rained Hell on who did it but don't remember anything else. Haven't seen any so there's 4 to see there plus Ballerina

The Alien movies, Covenant and Prometheus are next as well. Never seen either.

Weapons on HBO was good. I need to rewatch Sinners again because it seems like I'll need to take it in 2-3 times or maybe just not be zonkered high when I watch it. The dancehall scene in that movie blew my mind.

Lately I’ve been into more atmospheric or story-driven films, especially the kind that you can just get lost in depending on the mood. Some of the older stuff actually hits harder than newer releases.
I’ve been digging through different recommendations and came across a few interesting ones while browsing here:
There’s a decent mix in there depending on what vibe you’re going for.

Learn about cannabis from the beginning of endocannibinoid system developed from the sea squirt in the early years of Earth creation to now.
The path of cannabis thru history has been incredible.
Looks like first use may have been in Taiwan, 4000 BC and it was for the fibers to make rope.
Southeast Asia seems to be where cannabis has originated then spread all over the globe adapting and creating new strains based on climate.
Not long after discovery, it was being used for both medicine and fiber.
Hemp came from cannabis, not the other way around. Potency was bred out of cannabis to create hemp strains.
Was a major cash crop during the Roman empire and had it's uses in every part of mankind's development and every empire or civilization that has risen and fallen.
It wasn't up until around the 1920s when a combination of propaganda and racism in the US and UK fueled a call for prohibition leading us to the point in time we are now
