Movies/Documentaries (general TV programs)

I saw that the Avatar movie was up but I thought I saw it as a rip and not DVD quality. I hate the sound with those movies and people getting up and walking across the screen or coughing. We watched Predator Badlands last night, it had some chuckles in it, the 1/2 bot was good.
The avatar one was a screener cam. Sound was okay. Only a bit of noise now and then. Two spots blurred out where the ID numbers were. I was up and needed something to watch. I thought it was just a screener at first but realized later it was just a cam of a screener.

Running Man was DVD quality.

Ya we saw that a couple weeks ago, it held our interest longer than I thought it would. We've been watching the new Spartacus, House of Asher 3-4 episodes now, We liked the original and this has the same set, head lobbing, open sex scenes with slaves that seemed quite content in their role...lol....

Watching a few things over the holidays.

Season two of Fallout is pretty good with the third episode coming out on the 30th.

We just got done with season 1, we liked it, something a little different... Its based on a game, right?

I did not even start it because of how they released it.
So I restarted the show lol

i saw the release dates and still got suckered!!!! haha

you'll be better off.. i watched the first release and it was when the IT series was still finishing up... both about kids, demons, and underworlds. they got a little blended for me.

I enjoyed season one of landman but as season 2 starts it seems to be blondes in tight clothes more then actual well drilling and or the buis behind said drilling....Its almost as if its catering to folks who only wanna see skrawny blondes in little to no clothing instead of an actual movie with a plot that makes ya think lmaop

My nephew dropped off a HDD with the IT series on it. Started watching the first episode on the 24th but wife wasn’t into it. Buddy and son wanted to see a movie on the drive so we switched to that.

I’ll try it later when I can give it a fair shot.

also impossible to unsee Billy bob's pup tent!!! why did they feel the need to zoom in?!?!?! i enjoyed the first season better as well.

i didn't really like the first two episodes at first, i gave the third a chance and it pulled me right back in!! i really enjoyed that it kind of had an ending.. not total cliff hanger like most of them.

No spoilers or I’ll never watch them. The book was good, the first movie was okay. Lost interest after that. So I’ll have to work up to watching them since my wife’s not into them.

Landman, season 3-5 of Yellowstone, Hunting Wives Club all play up to Texas culture of cowboys and pretty girls in cut off jeans and boots doing shots of whiskey and being a fun roll in the sack.
The culture exists but it's been made over Hollywood style so it's kinda like when Urban Cowboy and the tv show Dallas were popular with all the fake cowboys mimicking what they saw on tv. Only today we call them Tesla Cowboys because these carpetbaggers drive around town in a Tesla while wearing a cowboy hat.
But that look for the ladies will always be here to stay. California has the girls in bikinis and Texas has the girls in Daisy Duke shorts and that never gets old or out of style!

I have 4 blonde sisters.......Im that weirdo that like fire redheads, what irks me about the storyline is how much money is made in oil that i was OBLIVIOUS about being a native new englander it fascinates me.

i personally think it was the best attempt yet at the story.. they all tried to get the magic that was in that book but they all failed.. i was gifted that novel when i was young by a neighbor.

only spoiler i will give is that in the beginning it bounces around a little in the story, try to stick with it, they bring it all together nicely.

I still see them once in a while waiting at the bus stop.

As older teens my sister and I collected all Steven kings books.

Still waiting for the right time to binge these.

Still not sure what I watched with this one. Liked all the actors. I don’t mind fantasy and horror mixed together. But it was like it tried to be a horror and a comedy at the same time. 🤷‍♂️

That one was unwatchable IMO. I like a wild ride of crazy in a movie as much as the next guy but that one was just good old fashioned dumb and there's no shame in turning it off.
Paul Rudd is becoming the same character in every movie and they're trying to stick Jenna Ortega in everything but even her game is wearing thin and she doesn't have much range. She seems to have peaked with Wednesday and Finest Hour. Neither of them could save such a shitshow of a movie.

I watched a ton of really good stuff over the holiday break.
Architechton on HBOMax one was one of my faves getting absolutely stoned off my ass with some couchlock heavy weed and a dab rig and trip the fuck out on these visuals.
It's like being hypnotized or being in a trance. Mind expansion shit. It's wild. The bigger the TV and 4K ultra, the better with this one.

That’s just a random pic with a few examples I’ve seen. Think it’s from a US source.

The other pic is also a random internet pic. But I’ve seen mothers pushing their strollers chatting as they walk dressed like that. See through and all. I just don’t take pictures of them. Lol

Most times they are in expensive outfits but not exercising other than pushing a stroller or walking in a group of two or three.

That is more of a tourist thing or how teens to mid twenties dressed when I was growing up in the beaches area. Some bars maybe.

Once they hit the Unicorn it started playing out like some strange comedy. I kept expecting/hoping it would get better as it had all good TV stars with a couple movie stars as the main characters. But the look and acts of the unicorns themselves kept ruining any seriousness they tried to build on.

I failed to turn it off. I watch the whole car wreck to the end. I guess good actors will make poor choices when times are tough. Moneys money.

Agreed. They also didn’t fit well together. Didn’t have that father daughter vibe.

I saw a bunch too. Buddy doesn’t have TV so he watches a lot of movies when he comes down. Don’t know the one you mentioned above but I’ll take a peek, see if it’s available to me.
