i think its sulfur/mG related, hasnt bothered me enough/been "Bad" enough for me to dive into just yet

could be underfeeding, could be having trouble up-taking if E.C was too high possibly

or actually, too many "harsh" dry backs while im asleep between 8-10am when lights go off, and then till i wake up.
seems like the more likely culprit.

that one is always "more dry" than the others when i get up and check.

i think the solution i made of Hypo acid was 1Gram of Pool Shock Per gallon, and 3mL out of that, i may be under-dosing it too but unless im mistaken, too high of a Chlorine PPM is one good way to turn em to Cap N' Crunch

same shit as ClearRez - which is dosed at 1 OZ per 5 gallon so 29.5ml per 5gal, or 5.9mL per gal.

ive not tried 5.9mL yet as i feel thats a little high, could be wrong though, time i pick a plant to sacrifice & test it on i guess

i usually do 2-3mL of it.

Bud sites getting "bigger" and starting to form up more, seems a delayed start maybe due to the micro amounts of kelp, read it can delay flowering if Im remembering correctly/ the hormones in it.

Which I just wanted to see what would happen if I did added a little kelp during transition and feed a little the first few times just to see, if anything.

Seemed to help one plant elongate a little more.





2. Possible issues, otherwise


E.C possibly a little high, doing 1.0-1.1 for now/resetting the media, 5.7pH

Run off E.C. was 2-3 between the plants
pH 6.3


And unless I'm mistaken, I'm seeing what appears to me (in my mind) is photon bleaching/chlorophyll bleaching from too close/intense LED.
I'll grab a pic later



So I've raised em by a few more inches, ks3000 @ 75% and the sf2000 at 50% was 80-100 only 10~ inches away, and feeding lower e.c

Reduce any stressors and let em go.



But I don't know, in week 5 now since "flip" day.

Don't have enough experience to say, this is my 7th~ run in a/the 5x5

2.5ml calcium hypochlorite

6-12 fertigation events a lights on cycle, or bottom feed.

2-4 fertigation events during lights off cycle.


Oxygen bubbles, afaik.

Calcium hypochlorous acid + h2o2 creates a bunch of "free radical" oxygen molecules ready to latch on to anything organic and "destroy" or "eat away/break down"...... or.... Oxygenate the roots.....

Should have caught that sooner, or so I think, just that two other plants were "perking"/oriented towards it like they wanted/could handle more.

Not sure exactly trying to figure that out myself. Got every slight yellowing around the top of my colas as well. Not sure exactly trying to figure that out myself. Got every slight yellowing around the top of my colas as well.

that could be iron, and i think one possible part is a "Fast" transition, reducing the lights from 16/18/20 to 12 in one night, lots less hours for a vegging plant and its not "pushing" nutrients up or synthesizing as much chlorophyll.

i think RO is nice for 110% control over what is in the water and going into plants, but not a NECESSITY

IT REALLY helps for seeds and cloning and precision over the proper E.C and PPMs though, and not unneeded/unused elements in tap water taking up E.C points, like my tap is 0.3 ec, i need those points in my salt solution, not from the tap BS, but after that stage im not worried about it.

would like to install RO filter down the line for me to treat/use for cloning

but after that stage, not in a professional/commercial context, it seems negligible IMO

i would just treat my readily-available water, i do grow sterile though.

which would not have any iron in it, besides you're organics/micros or base NPK salts

im going to buy that bag of iron down the line and use that if i run into iron def/ and i like/starting to incorporating KELP Foliar during certain times/stages

Thinking, I had the PPFD too intense/too close.

even though 2/3 plants were "perking" for it and the other 2 were flat or little less, making me think it's "fine" , "test" it under app and im way up there where you need CO2 enrichment about.....so ive increased the lights space from canopy and decrease in PPFD, they don't seem to be up taking as much > root rot > but they are growing new ones? So it's fine? Will be?

5.6-5.9 pH and 1.0 EC solution, may need to drop to 0.5 to ease up on em, output was around 1.5-2.0 e.c...


I'm just ready to get this grow over with, was not part of the plans at all....

And start fresh ...proper....with no fuckin power outages
