Pet Thread! Let's see those critters you call family!

On our way to losing our 5 labs my wife and I found out about mobile vets that will come to your house for euthanasia.
My last 3 dogs and 1 cat all got to pass peacefully in their home on their couch.
Did not cost much more than the vet trips and was just so much better for me and I think them.
I still don't have a dog, not sure I can again.

I love pets but the " they'll die in your lifetime" part is what sucks the most.

My wife doesn’t think Willow cares if she goes out and leaves us behind. She’ll wait for a while and then check the windows on all three floors to see if she’s coming back. Apparently she does it for all of us when we go out.

When we return it’s like we’ve been gone for weeks.

Natives are told that when we walk on, every animal that we have had contact with on this Earth will be waiting at the bridge. Depending upon our treatment of them, will also depend if we are allowed to cross. I’ll be skating cross that bridge with a menagerie in tow!
