We’ve had dogs with black nails up until now so we always hated cutting their nails. You eventually cut to close on one toe and get bleeding. So we started using my dremel tool. Better but tricky and the cord is annoying.

My son mentioned he has a cordless one for his models we can try. Much better. Less issues holding it in awkward positions.

I use a grinder for my dogs too. My boy's nails really don't grow oddly enough but my female grows raptor talons and gets real snappy to anybody trying to trim them. Took me a long time to build trust and I'm the only person she lets do it.
It's not a Dremmel but just like one and is USB rechargable

You mean the ones we had as kids that go over the faucet and make it a shower head on a hose?

Dollar stores might have that sort of thing.

So what u r really trying to say is quit being a cheapass and just bring her to a groomer lol But yes, those ones! My local wally world doesn't carry em, I should've looked at dollar stores as that product is even too ghetto to get at wally lol

I took my bouvier to a groomer once locally. Rip off. I do all my own grooming. Trimmers, clippers and grinders.

I don’t think getting the hose is cheap, it’s practical if you have the time.

I train my dogs to sit in the shower. I just watch their head doesn’t get soaked. With Willow I sometimes have a shower with her. Get a family member to put her out when done, then finish MY shower.

You can get a mesh drain trap to catch the hair. I highly recommend it.
