This has been the strangest harvest I have had in 3 years indoor. Having to top every plant or yo yo them. I use Silica Skin from rooted leaf, but these donkey colas are heavy! SS

I am trying 13 hr. off, 11 on. Intensity is upped over the light period and back down just before lights off period, most days. Some days I blast em one hr after lights on all day or night as I "filp" the day and night, usually by accident, Cheers Observer, SS

Ive been running 11 on 13 off for the last few months, 70% week 1-3, 100% week 4-7, thwn i drop it bsck to 70% til chop.
Helps keep my temp down as .y light drivers dont come off the lights in the 4x4.

Please explain your light schedule in more detail. Interested in different light exposure schemes and what those results have been.

I think it mainly depends on DLI and what the plants are doing.

11-13 is just tuning DLI

plants can veg with 14-15 hours of light and flower 13- hours of light

the other implications? not sure.

needs Photosynthetic Radiation to grow so not enough intensity or hours = less mass i suppose

Already following a DLI style lighting scheme. What I'm curious about is when they break up the DLI in chunks like 6hrs on 2hrs off throughout the 24 hr cycle in veg and 4hrs on 4hrs off in veg. The reports I've read say this helps in keeping tent temps down.

I have Vegged 4 hours on 2 hours off, ive also Vegged 6 hours on and 2 hours off or 4, ive briefly tried to Flower with 2-2 but was not patient enough to wait it out and see what happens.

i have used 2-2, too, before switching into flower, One can use that technique to make them taller, ASAP, if needed/wanted.

yes, if the environment cant be Properly Controlled/Set or if one can not properly Balance with the space/env/room, its only 4 hours of baking compared to 16/18 hours of baking.

but equipment does not like it, perhaps.


it was easier for to me to maintain/balance 4 hours lights on periods at the time/s at my other place.

as i have no environmental controllers.

Tuning is correct for DLI. I keep my "Lung room" at 76 to achieve 82 or so in my 3 tents. Also the 11 on helps little so much on my electric bill. SS
