My room is only a couple days ahead of yours now.

Both strains seem pretty far along for only 4 weeks........I expect them both to finish fast. With some lighter plants scattered throughout, I'm not sure if Ill add the UVB or not at this point.

The Roswell Codes are outshining the HFB's right now......they are larger plants, larger buds and probably slightly ahead towards finishing. I'm not posting much these days but be assured, a detailed grow summary will happen. I'll slowly start introducing them to UVB now, and keep my ppm levels close to 400 and pH at 6.3. I think I'll probably need another 2.5-3 weeks, which will take them close to 9 weeks flowering.
Even though both these strains stayed relatively short, I regret not topping both. It kind of took me out of my sweet spot, and I've had to raise the led's on a continual basis. I started using the dehumidifier about 4 days ago, trying to keep the humidity between 50-55%. It was rising to 75-80% at night, which can lead to mold and things I don't want to have to deal with. So, I really want to be as low as possible as i think it helps with resin production the last few weeks.
And, not sure which strain is the stinkiest, but the odor has really come on the last week or so. This will only get worse in the coming weeks. The wife gave me the "evil eye" tonight- she didn't have to say a thing, I read her mind by the look she flashed at me when the A/C came on. lol

Actually running around 440 ppm on average, I try not to go above that normally. I used to run much higher, 550-600 ppm but things remain healthier overall at the lower limit. My real issue crop to crop is pushing the lights too low trying to get maximum penetration and max yield. I guess I'm thick and head strong. These led's are incredibly strong, especially towards the center of the room where light bleaching often occurs. NEXT CROP, I WILL NOT GO BELOW 24 inches above the tallest plant. I'm curious if my yield will suffer at all?

Started the UVB, 1 hour a day which I'll increase to 2 hours on Friday at 7 weeks and then go to 3 hours a day on everything past 8 weeks. I'm thinking they'll go 8.5 weeks now, maybe 9. Using full bloom fertilizer and will stop the cal/mag in a couple of days. I'm not very excited about this grow at all- I'm missing some sativa in my smoke. Next crop for sure..........
Next crop I'm thinking about putting the led's outside the room, just to make sure they are not too close........lol

Friday is 7 weeks thru flowering........definitely getting closer. I'm guessing 7-10 days. I'll increase the UVB to 2 hours tomorrow.......
Very smelly as you can well imagine........not for the faint of heart. It lingers in our clothes and when we go out, the wife gets paranoid and thinks everyone can tell we stink. It may be........lol

not that brand but i've used other brand bags. i liked them better than jars, easier to deal with. i grew lions mane in them. i've used them for cubes as well but only for the colonization, i still used a mono tub for the fruiting. (just didn't trust myself)
but the lions mane i ran the entire growth in the bag. worked awesome though, anywhere i wanted it to fruit i just put a slit in the bag.
only thing different than a jar is they kind of expand a little in the pressure cooker so leave a little extra room. the first time i used them i had a bag in along with jars and the bag formed all around the jars and had indents of all their shapes when i took it out!! haha looked funny, but still grew mushrooms!!

I have had heart success with using bags as well, did the same thing, used them for starting then transfer to tub. Got the bags for a good deal on eBay, ready to go.

I've used others bags in the past.....IMO the easiest way to go. I was just curious about those specific bags. i really enjoy having shrooms around when I get the urge, going to do something again in the near future.

God damn......some rotting animal smells coming from the room, after a 2 hour on period with the uvb.........I can't tell which plants it's coming from, but this is pure "nasty" in the worst sense. I noticed it a few days ago going up and down the basement steps but wasn't sure where it was coming from until today. This will be like smoking dog shit I'm guessing.............and I may be forced to smoke outside in the garage.
The Honey Fried Banana's is about a week behind the Roswell Code I think, and won't harvest those until week 9.........the Roswell's may be taken this weekend, but I'm in no rush.........

We'll see............today is day 53. I'm in no rush to harvest, and will probably go past 8 weeks before harvesting. I'm usually going 9-10 weeks anyway so I have a flexible time line. Most of you guys generally go longer than I do anyway. Not this time.

Weight is improving as buds expand and harden up.........the HFB's are finishing quickly and it seems overnight they took a big move forward. Thank god the stink seems to be remaining down stairs......but as soon as i open the basement door, BOOM- there it is wrecking havoc on your nose hairs. I think when I cut it and hang it in the basement, that's out the window as the a/c unit for the basement and 1st floor is located right there next to everything. Which means every odor downstairs is blown right upstairs.
