Surgery scheduled for Feb. 6th, so I'll probably start back up in the room by this Mon or Tues. Just one large incision in abdomen, no overnight stay, in at 7:30am, surgery at 9:05am and out in the afternoon. No limitations after 2 days of rest except no lifting........lots of swelling of course. Very relieved about everything.
Yes, i'll have the mesh...........actually sewing up 3 different areas, one has the mesh. I know there have been issues with some meshes, tearing and such, with some big lawsuits. I had a friend who had to have 3-4 same-spot hernia surgeries to keep removing scar tissue and replacing mess, after he got an infection in the area from the initial surgery.
I normally would drive an hour to a better hospital in Annapolis, but my internist assured me he's very good and wholly recommends him. So, I'm 5 minutes from this hospital.
I decided not to bomb the room the room, as it's difficult to wrap the air cleaner in its current position (i did not want to clog up a brand new filter). So i just sprayed the room down with Monterey Insect Spray and that should do the trick.......review posted tomorrow to end the thread.
After I spray, with gloves, googles, etc- I remove all my clothing and jump right into the shower. That stuff will change your DNA, and you could wake up walking on all fours. lol
Stoney- take note.
"Yes, UV light, particularly UV-B radiation, can kill spider mites, with studies showing that exposure to specific wavelengths of UV-B can significantly reduce spider mite populations, especially when targeting their eggs; however, the effectiveness depends on the intensity and duration of the UV exposure."
