SSHZ does Captain RedBeard's "Biscotti Blonde" and Lit Farms "All Starz"..........

All plants at the end should need cal/mg so I'm perfectly fine leaving the cal/mg alone in this instance. lol

Captain Redbeard sale continues with new code "Cyber40"..........
I just hit him up cause he told me Sunday, now he says as long as supplies last. Thanks for the post!

He sent another mass email out to everyone early today........

image.jpgimage.jpgToday is a month into flowering, and just waiting for lights on in 5 minutes to take some pic's...........both strains claim to be heavy yielders, and the Biscotti as of now surely looks to be the heavier yielder. I've been on the heavier side with nutrients and cal/mag but I'll start to ease off and bring them down to a normal range. As always, Boscotti first and the the All Starz.

You don't press your own for rosin or anything?
Once I grew enough to not buy anymore I bought every toy/ tool I could find to make shit myself.
Tumbler and press for hash, Press for rosin, Levo for oils and edible, distiller for extracts.
🥴

I just tried this one, first high of the day. If you even want to call it that. I've gotten higher smelling the fumes while filling the tank in my suv than taking hits of this.....

It's always interesting how two people can be affected differently. I don't really care for vapes and planned to give this to a friend, but decided not to pass on something that might not be any good. I took an easy pull with the airflow slide wide open and was surprised buy the lung expansion. Nothing much on flavor, but I had a pleasant head high for about and hour and added relaxed tingly body for another hour, or so. I thought it was pretty okay, but that was certainly influenced due to going in with low expectations. I'm going to pass it on to someone and see what, if anything, they get anything out of it. This was their Jenny Kush, but I can't imagine much of a difference in potency vs Sour Lemon Mac unless there's quality control issues. More likely, that we're all just built different.

Those Knockout gummies are a winner, if last night was any indication. I only ate one gummy and I relaxed and fell asleep much easier than usual :). I usually struggle with turning my brain off.

I haven't tried the LIT gummies. I passed the Diamonds and Sauce to a buddy, but haven't heard back, yet. Will probably give the freebie pre-rolls away.

I'm glad you turned me on to the Knockout gummies. If anything else pans out, that will just be a nice bonus.

The Knockouts are winners, I've passed out numerous jars as Xmas gifts and all come back with great reviews. i typically take 1/2 a gummie in the evening sometime, and the other half an hour before bed. Along with smoking, I'm out like a light in just a few minutes.

Dodi also makes other gummies.......Rise and Shine orange cream gummies, for happiness and energy and plain Delta 9 gummies, which is a blend of sativa and indica in various mixed flavors. I'll report on both those at some point.

The cartridges from SereneTree were all out of stock, and I had to go to my bank to get the charge reversed since they only wanted to give me a store credit, which I declined. i may start looking into buying a press or have someone press a lb. for me, if I can find someone with a unit.

I have a few plants on each side this time which won't green up. It seems I have 1 each crop, this time there is more. I remember Rasta Jeff saying his Golden Goat strain yellows if you don't load up the N before flowering, and you'll never get them back to greening up. The first couple of weeks in veg I neglected the room, as I was working on a house project p. I watered and did nothing else except turn the lights on/off.

So, I've flushed, I've tested the runoff, temps and humidity are perfect, etc.........the led's may have been down too low, which is why I always suspect when going thru this. A they have all been risen to 22 inches, which is the sweet spot I think for my room. The only think I haven't addressed is water temps when watering, as it's often is on the warm side.

After giving the room another inspection, I'm pretty sure it's light burn. I say that because all the troubled plants are nicely green under the canopy. Gavita actually recommends (or suggests) 16-18 inches that would be the proper range in flowering, I was probably closer for a bit of time. But, I normally run at 20-22 inches. The tallest plants suffered the most, so it kind of makes sense. Overall, its not that bad- the impacted plants high up are still green. but a light green, not yellow. I'm going to stop worrying about it.

Anyone ever hear of this breeder or the strain? A buddy over at RIU gave it a rave opinion after growing it outdoors once, and being the impulse buyer I am, I bought it (2). lol Cherry grape kool-aid, Blueberry X Grandaddy Purple. Breeder: Purple Caper Seeds. Not cheap.

They've been breeding in cali for 20 years according to everything ive read, have heard some good things about Purple Caper Seeds.
I bet they'll be fire 🔥

Got a link to his thread sshz..I’d b keen to see how they grew.

your not in one of those states mentioned in terms and conditions on there site are you..

I'm in Maryland, doesn't seem to be an issue getting anything I want......

By Jeff, of course I mean Dragon's Flame..........some of you could possible have these too if you won a contest. I'll ask JohnnyRocket for a smoke report when it's done and dried,

Finally installed the new carbon filter i've had sitting here. It appears Phresh filters are no longer sold on Amazon so i had bought a TerraBloom, which seems pretty nice quality. It took the smell right out of the room shortly after being installed. The wife was away for 4 days and came back screaming the house smelled terribly. Good news for me, bad news for here I guess.

To be fair, he did say the quality was one of the best he's ever done.........maybe he'll pipe in, and give us the details on veg period, lighting, etc.

These seeds were started in 12/12 lighting as a last minute replacement at the cycle flip. I might grow it again and give it at least 4 weeks of veg time, depending on the smoke test.

image.jpgimage.jpg6 weeks today, moving along nicely. The smell is off the wall, the Biscotti seems more sweet and the All Starz is all gas. Either way, it's bad, even it's the new filter. I even reduced to fan speed further so the charcoal can catch more.......

Got some fade happening in there.i don’t see that much with your grows.she cold there right now.

i think I read somewhere ages ago if the exhaust fans up flat chat the filters don’t scrub as well..

Definitely some fade on some plants..........it's from early veg pH issues when the probe stopped working accurately and possibly the lights a bit close. Interesting thing is, below the canopy, everything is green. I've flushed too. I was also running ppm higher, which could also impact everything. Not my prettiest grow, but lots of positives going on. Smell, weight, uniformity- lots of good things.

Definitely, the All Stars has been the easier and healthier grow........about a month out or so.

Currently looking at next crop.......and deciding which way to go.

Your grows are always impressive. You can definitely tell you've been doing this for some time. I look forward to the updates...

Thanks......I was doing this long before it was fashionable. My first grow, in 1988, were two Northern Lights #1 plants directly from Nevil in a closet in my bedroom in an apt. my girlfriend (now wife) and I had. Turned out good too. Even after reading all of the available grow books- I really didn't know what I was doing. Within a year, I was growing large scale hydroponically in a warehouse, around 750-800 cloned plants and numerous mothers at a time. I was way before my time, at least on the east coast.........

You see Samsung is getting out of the led lighting sshz..I see your light runs osram like mine .b interesting what diode Gavita they replace Samsung with in future..but you know if you get a new one nxt they will last there warranty or even past it.

I'm not sure i would even bother to buy a different one.....I recently priced them out at $650 or so. All i need is 5-6 lbs a grow, which I'm easily obtaining. Why change, to get another 8-12 oz, which I can't use anyway..........I don't need the best, latest or greatest anymore.

This April, my Gavita led's will be 4 years old. Best $2600 I ever spent, the ROI is like a gazzilion. I may never replace them if the room yield remains high enough. lol

After doing a flush on a couple of the Biscotti’s, I now know why the yellowing is happening on a couple of these (but not the All Stars)………the ppm going in was 290, coming out was 590. The All Starz were able to handle the high ppm fine, some of the Biscotti’s not so much. pH going in was 6.3, coming out was the same so no issues there (now). I flushed with Clearex, which will help drain away much of the high ppm at this point (almost 7 weeks) but I doubt they’ll return to green. I just wanted the buds to have the best chance possible………..bottom line, I need to maintain the ppm in the 400’s at all times and stop with the occasional high dose fertilzation.

If anyone can comment on any knowledge of these strains, I'd appreciate it........personal knowledge, not internet B-S.

1. P-8
2. Sundae Driver
3. WAP
4. Love

Thanks. FYI- Lit Farms has hybrids of all these with Zoap, and Im trying to make sense of it all.

I know WAP is "Wet Ass Pussy" and that's just turns me away.
Sundae Driver is decent. Has this herbal, earthy, chocolate cream type aroma and taste. Good high, not my flavor profile

Also not sure what the hype of Zoap is, its not even that good imo
