Gonna make some fudge cake for the party girls and watch them drop like flies..I know ya wanna do it.Just some quick notes........
The Grand Fire is in tupperware, mostly dried but I'm burping the containers often. The smoke is quite good, definitely for the nighttime. Yield looks to be around 3 oz. per plant, but that's purely a guess. Buds are on the smaller side, but have a tasty profile on the spicey/kushy side.
The 10 Frozen Black Cherry were all cut yesterday and finished today. 1 plant of the 10 was completely different than the rest, and Im guessing it's not that strain- it was almost done but not completely. Everything about this single plant was different- looks, doneness, resin content, bud appearance, and on and on. No clue what it will be but I have it separated for a later review.
2 of the 4 Florida Gaspacks were chopped today too, with 2 more tomorrow. 1 of these plants was super well done, another was taken down too. 2 more tomorrow will be cut but they are questionably done and each will have to be tested to see if they are nice enough to leave or will go into the hash bin. I have not smoked any of these but the 1st one looks and smells as nice as anything I've done.
I did not open another room. Long story why not. But the short is my wife has a book club party in the house coming up, and things have to be dried and finished in time to fumigate the house. This crop was a stink bomb.........

I wish u would have had better luck w the seeds, but I'm glad that u were happy overall w the final results. U nailed it with your description of it too.Purple Caper "Grand Fire" final review............
If you remember, I started 10 seeds- 4 didn't pop, 1 was a runt and killed off and 5 plants made it for the grow. It was billed as a strong indica, smells like cherry and grape kool-aide, with a good yield done in 7-8 weeks.
I haven't talked much about this one, as the other two strains are A+++ but it's a really good strain. Plants stayed short and I still managed 16 1/4 dried oz off the 5 plants. The plants smell "sweet" but it's a stretch calling it grape or cherry- maybe with a good cure more will come out more.
The smoke reminds me of a good afghani- thick and dense, tasty, sticky and strong. It's definitely a night time smoke- relaxing, mellow, and calming. The taste while smoking is what keeps bringing me back though- it reminds me of some chocolate thai I was getting from Arizona in the early 90's. Buy this one for the taste alone, it's special.
The buds on the plant were not large but it branched out well with the topping and they were very uniform in height and appearance. A few were done at 7 weeks, but I let it all go to 8 weeks and took them all at the same time. Pretty smelly too so be prepared to combat this in flowering. My phresh filter fought the Fire and lost.........lol Just ask the wife.
Here's 2 different buds.......View attachment 100794View attachment 100795

A break is understandable, just don't stay gone too long. I love watching u work. Nobody else does what u do. I see very few (if any) pull 6+lbs from a 4x8 in dirt! It's special. So, this will be my last thread, at least for a while..........I'll be posting more in others threads, but no dedicated thread this crop. I need a break for multiple reasons.
I have started up B2ACG's Roswell Code and Honey Fried Bananas as my next strains and if anything interesting or unusual happens, I'll report on it.........
