SSHZ- Purple Lobster, Orange Kush Cake, Liqueur strains.......

I’m also in the mid Atlantic had one of the little bastards bite me and ended up with the Lyme disease , the bud looks great an the weight is just something I been chasing after for a while I’ve not been able to reach that 2 lb mark , maybe this time I’m growing 12 this time in 3 gallon pots sea of green in a 5x5 under the California extreme 1000 wat. very good light but sucks not having a dimmer so I use a 500 in veg an the 1000 for flower works ok

My Gavita's don't have dimmers either, although they have add on's to add that feature if wanted. I just raise and lower my led's as needed. I actually won a nice dimmer led, 600 watts, a few yers back but it stays in storage as a backup and have never used it. Things continue to dry but just checked weight as of tonight:

Orange Kush Cake- 5 plants- 21.61 oz

Liqueur- 5 plants- 19.79 oz

Purple Lobster- 8 plants- exactly 32 oz tonight

About 73 oz total but I expect to lose another oz or so water weight as continue to dry..........

I can be a stubborn old man as I like to keep my led's really close but this crop I purposely kept them further away than any crop in recent memory, especially in flowering. Probably 26 inches in flowering, 20-22 inches in veg. It didn't hurt my yield a bit and kept the crop a bit healthier.

I got 65 oz last crop, shows the difference it can make by growing "high yielders", which all 3 of these were.

Regarding ticks, I have 1.2 acres and am out in it every day it doesn't rain. I always spray myself and clothes with some repellant just to be safe. I've been lucky as no issues in 26 years here and I'd much rather have them attracted to my plants than me. lol Always wear long pants I've found helps, even on the hottest days.

I also use a lot of bug killer granules all over the property to kills grubs (that attract moles) but it does kills ticks and spiders too. So I'm probably do more than I think I am to repel the little buggers.
