yeah i kinda hosed it up too man.. i was all into collecting the points way more than spending the points. kinda messed up a little on that one. last year that gift card was so easy to get i figured it would be that way again. i can at least now see it in the list but can't add it to the cart.
i did grab some of the merch i wanted though. i got that BBQ set you got last year, i got a bag, a towel, sunglasses, there was no bottle left by time i got around to it and the t shirts were only in small. i was so close to just spending my points on one of the experience deals and try to put it in your name, thought maybe if you were at the track maybe get to use it.. i didn't know.. i'm now sitting on 8K left in points so if i cant get a gift card i'll spend them on the diecast raffle as well...
i'm not upset about any of it.. i had fun doing the checkins and trivia. plus to be honest i'm still riding a high from the 5 team wining the championship. just the other day i watched the last five laps and overtime again!!! it's kinda what makes the raiders not sting so bad!!!
I almost need a spreadsheet or playbook because it was so different in 2025 compared to 2024.
We're not the only ones...there's people with over 20K and are left out of everything because they waited too long.
Next season I plan to have my computer on when I can and have two browsers opened and logged in.
When firefox didn't work this year, google chrome was my backup.
Also, 2 devices if not 3. My phone and tablet and maybe my wife's phone too.
I believe the glitches were mostly on the app or website but two times my browser needed an update for everything to load and be logged in.
At least a handful of times there were glitches for a check in that were solved with a different browser or device.
I'll have the 15K/experience for my goal again but if I come up short, use the points asap on tix. Learned the hard way to not sit on points.
Most people are in it either for autographed diecasts or tix but a few are in it for the experiences too and it takes strategy to get that many points. Those diecasts are gone after the first week.
Reddit helps a ton too. There's a fan rewards sub that has alerted me lots of times to grab points or new catalog drops. Sometimes they'll post the Iracing codes there too.

update time...
i haven't done much at all with this crop and i recently did some stuff so i figured i'd post it..
so wednesday morning i fed them, second time now. 1st time was the tea this time i just scratched in about three tablespoons of greengro.. and added 1/4 teaspoon of the B-Bloomz to each gallon of water. each plant got about two gallons.. some got 1-1/2.. some got 2-1/2..

and one final note is i moved the timer back an hour so now on 11/13. just nearing the end of week six of flowering. my next feeding will include beastie bloomz and greengro flower finisher. OH and i forgot to mention the sugar.. i gave them all natures brix from greengro as well. they'll get more of this on every watering.

yes sir, before i switched to these led's i grew with two philips LEC vertical bulbs and used 10/14 exclusively for years. for the life of me i can't remember why i even went to 12/12.. Bandit just recently reminded me of the shorter schedule and the savings.. i plan to move this crop to 10/14 in a week or so. starting week 8 prolly...
i was thinking of maybe putting those lights back in for a grow next round... if i do that i should put that turntable back in and make it spin roundy round again!!!!! with the movement i can slam those hot light right on the plants and not burn anything.. get every single photon possible!!!!

I liked the turntable too and always thought that was such a brilliant idea but also baddass because it worked!
There's a handful of things I once did and tried to do them better in some other way but ended up coming back to the original way. Sometimes I may change and sometimes may not trying new things but it never gets old trying new things even if we come back to an old way.
He's a weird fucker but he makes some awesome jams. Like R. Kelly's bullshit... I'm still gonna "Toot Toot, Beep Beep" when that fuckin' song comes on.
I mean...I really hate to victim blame but we all know what he's about so if you find yourself in a room alone with that dude...that's on you!
