Teaching cannabis growing to new growers.

After reading the forums its obvious a lot of help is needed in growing weed. A lot of us have it dialed in pretty well and could teach new growers how to grow successfully with your method of growing. A 1time in home visit laying out what is needed with maybe some training equipment to show and tell, example of the soil or DWC type set ups. for a set fee. Then a 1 grow online help contact email or online forum. It could start a new or help build this community.

With legalization and staying in its parameters there could be opportunities for some extra cash only income. A few guys & gals here are experts in their grow style. Is there any place for a Green growers training truck? or a PT Cruiser? Pot leaf logos.

Now if insurance would pay for medical Marywanna that'd change the game some. Saw RFK jr was in talks with someone to halt the expansion of cannabis here ....good make weed illegal again lol give it some value...my probably unpopular opinion

I think it’s a great idea, don’t feel bad though. You’re trying to sell a good idea to stoners. Everyone is thinking, great idea, I hope someone else does that! LOL!

I would actually hate to try to do that. My grow is purely seat of the pants! I do plan a my off weeks, when I’m out of town, but mostly, I wake up and talk to the plants before I know what the day will be!

I’m afraid, on video, that might make me look like the lunatic that I actually am, but have fooled people so far!

Not sure how it is in Canada but in legal US states there's colleges like Cannabis Community College in multiple states and then Oaksterdam University which pretty much started the whole cannabis u thing.

Seems that pretty much any niche hobby, there's a college for it here. In person learn how to BBQ in a day, learn everything about aquaponics in a weekend, learn specific gardening or farming in an afternoon sorta classes find their ways into my in-box all the time.

There seems to be a lot of them on Reddit that are willing to spend a couple thousand on equipment with the best of every thing. A consultation and demonstration with follow up support online through 1 grow.......Just a brain fart, I get a lot of them I don't always post them. The problem in Michigan is its very difficult to grow your own for less than what dispensaries are charging. I can get a half ounce of dispensary weed locally for as low as $14.00. Now that is bottom dollar! More typical is a half ounce in the $30-$40 price range but even at that price its difficult as a home grower to grow for less. Most of the old growers from the past are no longer growing because the bottom has fallen out of the price. The only reason I still grow my own is because the quality of my home grown is better than what can be purchased locally at any price point.

We call it Cranklins BBQ.
It got that name from the most famous BBQ restaurant in town being named Franklin's.
Since "crank" is another name for meth and most likely what's being rubbed on the dead possum and squirrel roadkill they grill up, Cranklins was born. It's served up hot and fresh under an overpass about 2 miles from my house. Good times.

Son wanted a BBQ or I wasn't going to get any work out of him...I'm old he's not so without a BBQ handy I thought old stove drawer and put it on a washing machine for height. Both my wife and my son stood by and watched me, I blame them, I'm old and stoned they should have stepped in. They are partially to blame in my defense. You should have seen it it was up to the power lines, fkin plastic once its on fire burns like shit and is hard as fk to put out....Someone should have stopped me. wtf were they thinking?

I've thought about this same scenario. I've mentored many online, not that I'm anywhere near being qualified, but, somehow, they've all gotten to harvest!

I would think the easiest way for both parties would be to do Zoom sessions. This way the newb won't have to expose his location, some of my mentees are in less than legal areas, and you won't have to be driving across town because your "client" is freaking out over a cal/mag deficiency that you can easily diagnose over Zoom. The other thing is that doing this would open you up to a lot of liabilities. You can give every piece of information that is relevant to the issue at hand but, since you aren't there to see it done properly(or at all), if the harvest goes south guess who's going to want their money back...........

I figure if Telehealth is going to be a thing then TeleWeed should also be a thing!!!

I grew in the late 70's for 5 years just for myself, outdoors. Then I found indoor "Grow Room" cultivation, I still grow for myself but the added income is welcome.

I was thinking one on one in home help with set up and instructions on how to get going with online help here or a private chat email assistance through 1 grow. I've been recruiting members here as I speak to folks on Reddit, I'm not sure is helping but some need help outside my abilities so I send them here if they sound human.

Thinking $300 for 8/hr course on all things cannabis done once a month. With a single home visit and consultation for 3 months via text/video. Have some other thoughts but that has to go by the boss and staff here.

You maybe able to handle all 4 methods I'd be more do it my way or take the hiway sorta teaching. I thought OB would be a candidate he seems to be into it pretty deep with a variety of methods & could use a few bucks extra. Or any of the young guys in legal states or Provinces, staying within the rules.

I'm thinking once you get them started right and they follow your instructions the rest could be handled online. Sales extra of course.
