The Psyche Gardens

Right, i hear you. I need a 46x46 drip tray before i do a wall to wall, but i dont wanna spend the cash on one
Right they are overpriced imo, I'm just gonna use the bottom tent cover as runoff

As much coco as I need I may as well have done the wool slabs I suppose(?)

Lmao

Also, now that I've got one gallon bags, and did the solos C2C, and actually able to see it all for my self, these seem overkill, lol.

Half gallon may have been perfect perhaps

Guess we will see how I/it/they perform this round

Personally id leave 6-8 inches between each bag if i were doing it so the plants can spread a small bit

That would be the way to do it, I honestly may have to, to avoid any possible microclimates with the bags touching, or pockets of unwanted bacterial/fungi growth

But this run will probably have some similar "fuck it" vibes like the 210 solo run, lol.

Just to see the glorious jungle

Some of them nearly grew half the length of a 5x in solos....now im running 1 gals and i was probably right with my first thought to just go with the half gallons instead, which would be more optimized to/at current scale, but went with the Full 1s.....which im thinking may be a little bit too much media, or I dont fill the bags all the way perhaps...
Thoughts are everywhere..

Need to grab some blocks and see if can try to tilt/elevate the tent slight degree so I can catch run off easier once with a shop vac once I finally order one

Can't do much else besides clean up the media spillage and organize, finish getting the LEDs up and cable managed.

Need to preferably get the same brand/mix of coco to keep symmetrical as much as possible.

I can probably fit around 64 +,-

Need around 6 more bags of loose coco.

Bro, those drip tables are so damn handy. I used to do the whole shop vac bs but its just that: bs. Get you a botanicare drip tray and put it onto 4 buckets as the table and it sends all the runoff into a bucket. Game changer for me TOTALLY worth the money. 30D691CE-9BBC-4513-906B-F8F418703E88.jpeg

Yea that's what I'd like to do, get out of the tent, into a room and on tables...

Those 5x botanicare trays $ are nearly extortion to me lol.

But I will need to get one

I used 2 S hooks and hung mine horizontal along the ceiling. View attachment 36661
I usually leave it in the tent for the extra heat, but i need the space/it out of the way and I'm going to be pushing closer to 1000 LED watts to have enough PPFD in this 5x for about 70 1gals, I may only fill them slightly above half gallon > 2 be decided.

It is totally extortion, like lots of other products from China. I haven't found a cheaper alternative, however. And yeah bro a room is so much better than the tent, so much room to play with the plants lmao. I got a 3x3 tray for $99. https://shop.fifthseasongardening.c...k-low-tide-3x3-ft?_pos=3&_sid=7bdca8fc5&_ss=r

FWIW: You can also use that drip tray in a tent and it works primo.

Yea, that's what I would have done.

Just gonna use the bottom tent cover/tray/tarp, it works just not the best thing.

Need to attempt slight elevation/decline on tent

Jesus fuck it just hurts my mind looking at that for $99.99 lol , and I want/need a 4x or 5x....
lmao I feel you. I went half-crazy looking for an alternative cuz I was the same like "the FK if Im gonna pay $100 for a damn plastic tray". A few weeks later Im at the hydro store buying the tray lol. And yeah I was gonna get a 4x4 tray but I figured in a 4x4 tent a 3x3 will let me have the pots but the canopy would be the full 4x4. Now in my room I run like a 6x6 canopy :p

For sure a slight elevation/decline will let you drain that sh!t away. Just make sure to check underneath that tarp cuz I did that before and looked under after a couple runs and I had some black mold looking stuff from the condensation and stuff.

its still up lol

just waiting for it to fail i guess

well i cant physically do much else besides wait on plants, check, plantainence, finish getting things setup

i need to buy more 5x support poles
i may need another/longer power strip

besides the exact count on how many 1gal bags i/can throw in a 5x.

ill grow out 5 moms, 13 cuts from each, for 65, to place/clone into the bags and then we on.

Think I figured out a rather clever solution, with all the "ratchets hangers" I have

phone died

got a fuckin mini-sun in the 5x lol

🤔

if I had an extra, extendable shower rod, to counterbalance the inward force....possibly....
But may as well just get some damn poles lol

Or I'ma try this other way real quick and see

So these are, "not jenga" blocks, they are mother fuckin, "tower tumble" blocks, because....I suppose, copyright, lmao.

See how this works, to elevate to a decline for easier run off management when needed.

I'm sure it's going to create another problem though, being to do with the bottom canopy sagging and wareing down quicker, or so.

But this 5x has about seen it's days already, the 210 solo run and some cats fucked it out of its "new" status lol

Resourceful.
