i've like to know as well!!! i feel it's only purpose is to keep the board and diodes clean. a grow room is a filthy place and you don't want the inside of your lights to look like that fans!!

i've replaced all my plastic covers, they get hazy after a while and i want all the photons i can get coming through!!!

I heard that if you take those out then the led turn into death ray lasers.

I'd call CLW and ask them. Panels needed lenses from what I remember but not sure. I've never taken mine apart more than removing the fan covers and blasting it with canned air

I paid $202 and most I'd pay would be around $250. Somewhere between $180 and $220 is good value IMO. Smoke Cartel Cabana Club is free to join and doing that brings it down to $202. I haven't seen it lower than that new in box.
It's closer to a torch and banger experience than other Erigs I have or tried.
I test drove one at the headshop back with that fiasco over the Pearl and ordered one online that same day but I guess this model or whatever was on backorder or some change of ownership inside Ispire or something, IDK, weird drama, but in the end I finally got this rig and found a site to order replacement parts to keep it going.
This is the Northern Lights model but it also come in black, light blue, and honey gold. I wanted the honey but it was sold out but it looked baddass. NL is cool too but could use better lights or more of them. I'm guessing you'd be into the black lol



It doesn't heat like the Peak. Uses magnets and is called induction heating. So no coil and instead is a glass cup which is the main reason I got it since that would be the best option for home squish and keeping the rig clean.
Other than the carb cap piece, all the other silicone pieces seem decorative more than functional so I took those off mine.

It will take the soul of your dab down to the molecular level. Connoisseur grade hit and experience but limited to just that topper so no deviation from that.
I like it ton and it's a welcome addition to the stable.
It's there with the Peak if not better in the heating function and all that but Peak can be changed up so much depending on topper and chamber.
And don't leave out Proxy in all this either. Proxy is all the good of peak downsized a little and adaptable into any rig out there so while the two erigs are beasts, the proxy in a double perk bong is a luxury cruise into space.
I even got my wife a new rig and since she's all into ancient Egypt and we have these crazy conversations about the ancient world and today, I set hers up with Proxy

really looks cool in the photos!! the black was just a little too plain jane for me, if there was maybe special black graphics on the glass or something like there is on the honey i might has gone that way. but just the plain flat fake ass looking carbon fiber (plus i'm just not a carbon fiber kinda guy) the honey has the textured honeycomb in 3D, just looks way cooler.

like ya say it's not all the flash and fluff of a puffco but i think with the right setup it could be extremely useful. and i ain't ever gonna lose that bright yellow case thats for sure!!! haha

The V2 will not come with the inner cup so there will be two blank spots in your case and it will look like it's missing the two inner cups for the V1. The two cup was sort of a redundant design and caused splashes so the reclaim cup is pretty much a 2 in 1 design now.

You're spot on about control. Peak is like the fully loaded tech package in a new car while this dude is a stick shift and you can pop the clutch and burn the tires.
I operate between 420 and maybe 550 max. 600 gets a bad flavor in the wax I get and IDK how people go to 710 and like it. Much lower for home squish starting at 400 and maybe going to 520.
Cold start hit on low temp is great and heat time is speedy enough for me to be happy about it.
No overheating warnings or anything yet...I don't think it has all that stuff anyways.
There's lights but nothing very cool, just lights and it beeps when it's up to temp.
I like the 2in1 cup now that I think about it because I really don't want any reclaim from this rig. It does a fine job getting everything out so let the swab have the rest, fuck reclaim. I don't even save that stuff from my proxy anymore. Just not a reclaim guy. It's like the roaches of dabbing for me lol.

Dirties up fast man. Topper will need a bathtub about 4.5"x5" or can be plugged and soaked.
Yep, nuthin but glass! The banger is built into the topper and the cup is deep AF. The metal in the bottom is what heats the glass. Cup is nice and deep too so nothing is escaping that well!
Messing with it, I guess the silicone between banger and cup does provide some resistance so taking mine off allows more air thru there. Keeping it on would make sure air can only come thru the carb cap. With or without, smoke stays contained in the banger and topper but with the silicone is a slightly more intense hit.

Mine has that carbon fiber look but I have some galaxy vinyl wrap I'll use to give it a night sky look more in tune with a northern lights theme and maybe a transparent TPU wrap around the bottom of the topper to enhance the light, give it more glow.




IDK about battery life yet since I rotate devices thru the night but seems this mutha would put me into the dirt before it's battery runs dead.
It just hits hard man but also burns thru wax a little faster than puffco too. It's high octane if you want it!!

My pelican case will be repurposed for something else. Still can't believe it came in that lol. This rig stays in my globe or on the bar so no need for the case. I'm guessing it will be for RC car stuff lol.
Oh another cool thing...The instructions come printed on a mousepad. I needed a mousepad so win win!!!

so i had it in my cart and was just snooping at pics and vids as a last second yay or nay on it and when i saw the special print mousepad that came with the honey i was all in like a fat kid on a cupcake!!!!

from what i read your norther lights edition is the only one with lighting. all the other models are just red for no chamber and blinking and steady orange for fire.. but man i wish puffco had different lighting for heat up to rip like this ispire! i always wished just the emblem would light up during heat up and then the whole topper once it's ready.. when the pros first came out there was a third party software you could put on it and almost make that happen. the guy that made it stopped doing updates though and ya can't use it anymore! sucks too because he unlocked the ready mode and could use it with any wireless charger not just the puffco brand.

i had to go back to puffco software once he stopped updating... haven't looked in a long time if anyone else is coding them now.

but i bought this for the same reason as you, for the squish man!!!!!

and reclaim.. well thats a pet peeve of mine, if someone gets reclaim from their dabber then their doing it wrong. their eyes are bigger than their lungs is what it is. if i get reclaim it means i put too much in from the start!!!! no reason to even have left over in my opinion!! only put in what you can inhale and stuff stays cleaner!!!

sure a tiny bit goes into the swab but man if you can't reuse a swab two or three dabs then it's wasting too much.

i always like having at least one extra cup on hand for cleaning downtime but having both rigs now it might not even be an issue.

Simply because of the fans I would not operate without the lens.
It will change the air-cooling flow and possibly cause an overheating issue on certain parts.
In most cases the plastic lens has little if any effect on the brightness/spectrum of a light.

Hehe I think the mousepad is a dab pad but I never understood needing one of those so yeah, Mousepad!!
I made another order for spare parts from the Chinese factory overseas that would include the old inner cups but I'm not sure if it's legit or not. If it is I have two inner cups coming and I can share one with ya. I just wanna see if it changes much but I'm betting I prefer the deep well and not a smaller cup inside it.

At this point, it's out of my control. Everything is at max limits and there's nothing left to do but hold on for the ride and keep the rez fresh.

I found the tipping point on UV and was able to create so minor stress with it. I don't believe it's so much intensity than it is duration so I'm making an adjustment to the spectral playbook by committing to UV thru veg and bloom. When cotton balls show, back it off then return it again for ripening.

Pretty sure one of the overflow plants in a bucket has light poisoning from the tiny lights it's almost touching on the wall. Doubt it will hermie but it's certainly furked for anything good.

Not too happy with my home cross anymore. As soon as I start thinking of name she starts falling apart on me. Good test though and lets me know where to go with that cross as in likely abandon it. Probably gonna be wildly potent but yields on the rather pathetic side.

Also making an adjustment to feeding and will eliminate grow nutes after this grow taking a page from my organic feeding plan very similar to the Lucas formula.
I think I got everything right where I want it except for feeding.
It was unnecessary to use grow nutes into flower until I saw pistils. In retrospect and doing calculations, I can move week 3 bloom feeding to week one of veg, dialed down to plant size and week of growth with a slight increase in micro.




The change over from organic soil to soilless hydro is done and dialed in with minor adjustments going forward.
I can finally recalibrate the choices in genetics and move away from dollar sale bargain bin stuff and get a little nasty....




I've never bought an auto before. Went against my own judgement doing it but she's a purp and a freek and IDK what will happen with seeds after November.
Freakshow genetics have a place here even if it's just for the pineapple terp juice I can mix into more potent waxes

The manufacturer logos are right there on the firesuits FFS? How do they mix that up? Larson with a Ford logo is like Jordan and Adidas...somebody gettin' fired!!!
Knowing Fox it was an unpaid intern anyways.
At least they got rid of those lame comic book anime style driver graphics. That was always weird.
Where you can really see how bad it's gotten is watching old races in the off season and comparing what they're doing now.
Fox is pretty much the Temu of broadcasting when I compare to what they once were. There's more effort in soap box racing on Discovery channel.
Prime was so good it made me wanna be at the track next week! And CW was great doing Xfinity too. No excuse for Fox to keep abusing NASCAR fans the way the do.

This fresh frozen then freeze dried flower run rosin is like all natural shatter or something. Super stable on the paper at room temp.
Potency and flavor is exactly what I was wanting...Nuclear!!!.
It's Supafreak amplified AF! Easily 3-5x more potent than the best OTC wax I have in house and some of that is pretty good!
The nutty thing is Suparfreak in flower form is C+ at best. This process made it into something special IMO.
Dab temp is 510 max, start hitting at around 410. Burnj it down like a rocket with no coming back or second helpings.
Rice size dab is about 3 hard pulls then swab. Those 3 pulls are like getting hit by a train. High is coming on hard and fast and tasted like sucking on a pineapple for the first two then bitters out midway thru the 3rd. Huge clouds!!!!








UV sample report.
Noticeable stress but no burn or necrosis. During lights out, they go back flat to flatish. They remind me of how some really frosty nugs get that curled ridge along the leaf. Maybe they frost up as well with that.
Kinda hard to tell but every plant with UV stress is also far ahead in resin than those far away from the UV.
Many plants are not really showing frost yet other than those under the skunk like stripe of the UV.
I thought I may back off but decided not to. I'm gonna push it and maybe even push it harder. It's redlining now. I'll black line it before it's over!! I wanna see just how far and what happens. Too many UV experiment have ended inconclusive and now I finally have a light that's serious about so it's time to play. Fortune favors the bold I say!

LOL that's pretty much how I do qualifying too and how I'm doing the olympics really. Just have the tv on while at work doing other shit.
Right now my schedule is kinda screwy, football in the morning and baseball in the evening with the TV on just for noise. Busy work is snowballing on me and by Friday night is gonna be full speed until vacation. Have this COTA weekend coming up but every other day is busy with work this time of year.

I saw that email and was thanks but no thanks. Tethers bug me so much man and I really can't use them. Either a cat or dog or me is gonna hook on it and something's getting broken. I know from experience lol.
My enail was either gonna burn the house down or somebody gonna end up in the er or the vet with that thing.

The pics they have of people smoking is pretty far from how I partake. I'm a loner for the most part.
My Daab stays put on the bar as does my gravity bongs. It's like walking up and doing shots but dabs. Perfect set up for me.
When I go to the couch then it's doob first then the Peak, Bomb, or Proxy rig, usually Peak more than anything though.
The couch is where my wife will partake with me too unless she's up for the gravity bong.

When I set my peak down couchside it sits on a charger base next to my hot and cold teas I drink for a session. It's a ritual of flower, herbal drinks, and finally getting clobbered off a few dabs to finish me off before dinner. All nice and tidy and in arms reach. Cords, whips, and tethers, just ruin it and cause hassles.

The pool entries look a little thin this year? We lose a person or two? Folks get mad you took all their money last season hahahaha?
I didn't think about it until after I sent mine in but I'll get my wife in on it next season. I know she'll have some fun just picking randos and laughing about it.
