XHALE update...
I received an email within a couple hours, from Josh, the owner. This occurred when I reached out to my CC company for a refund. I received the refund almost immediately and then the email from Josh.
I decided to ghost him for a couple weeks. As this is something he is very familiar with.
I did, finally, reply. In my reply, I provided a play by play of what transpired regarding his poor comms etc. And explained how it is not a good business practice to conduct his business in this way. I closed with an invitation of my own. I offered him an opportunity to send me a comped product for review. And I offered to share my entire experience on the forum I belong too.
So, where is the stellar product from Josh, that is going to change our lives for the better? When do I get to review it and share with my community and increase Josh's sales? Hmmm...yea, that's not happening. Not sure there even is a product. I keep getting email invitations to join a list. And emails with manufacturing delays as a result of product finishing inconsistencies.
I'm back to ghosting. He can shovel his shit somewhere else.
Please know that I am not a dick...just not taking anyone's shit anymore. And, if an opportunity presents itself, whereby I can offer some advice or just dump on them...I do. Hey, if you got balls to fuck with me, then I have a bat to fuck over your balls.
Sad thing is, it doesn't have to be like this.
Lastly, how you doing Bandit?

yesterday i got my four bud wackers and did npt get one free.. last night i sent them an email and today i already had an apology and a tracking number waiting for me. thats some great customer service!!! no questions no blame no nothing.. just an honest apology for an honest mistake and already taken care of!! how it should be folks!!!
i kind of really like it... i was scared off when it said the string was made of uhmw polyethylene and i've worked with plastics all my life and especially materials commonly used in wet process semi conductor mfg. but i think they mean the mechanism inside is made from uhmw the cord is strong nylon or something.. btw, dont google it.. uhmw= ultra high molecular weight

it did well, the material is less mashed like Steam said.
for those of us who are into preserving our trichomes than this is a much better option than a mill or tooth grinder. you can fell the difference instantly.
View attachment 108319
normally i have been using a plain ol speed grinder... the bud wacker is a much better option!!!! not as fast but nothing else is over one of those speedy ones!!

but i'm gonna leave this here and say this here is probably the coolest grinder in the galaxy!!!!!!!!!! the fuckin death star grinder!!!!! yup!!!!

Any updates on your adventure?

I use mine daily and although not time tested like years, I wonder if I will ever need the second one.that really sucks guys. glad both of you got your money back though!!!
i forgot to post but bud wakker sent me that free one the next day... they sent it fedex priority even when the original order was only usps.
so on the flip side i have nothing but great things to say about bud wakkkers customer service. as for the grinder itself i have not used it yet. i gave one to my buddy a couple weeks ago and haven't asked him about it yet and also sent one to Ninjadip recently so maybe he'll try his out before i do.
if these work good i'm gonna pick up some more and keep it as a monthly prize here.

I love it.
Anybody used one of these? Cool idea.

I rip it and still have not cleaned it once~!are you real gentle on it or are you just rippin it?
that looks like flower mill.. i've printed those out already. worked okay but in the end it was still a 3d printed piece of plastic and gummed up often due to how my filament printer prints a layer at a time. maybe a resin printer would do a much better job.
it mashes the herb and then it falls through the desired sized holes in the plate. no teeth just a mill style grind.
I rip it and still have not cleaned it once~!
It will jam if you over pack it, but it is easily unjammed.

that really sucks guys. glad both of you got your money back though!!!

I've had some weird orders for weed stuff before and I think this one will be in the top 5. It never had to be this hard or take this long and I've never seen any type of business ran this way unless it was some sort of scam.
So we'll see what shows up in my mailbox
Does the blade come out of the wakker? Like can I pull that blade then design a new canister design around it?
man that thing is filthy, you should clean it!!!![]()

I do have one~!That's a job for a sonic cleaner if I ever saw one![]()

wiping it out could leave micro scratches in the plastic. the sonic wouldn't do that... like a touchless car wash!! haha

I like the blade grinders. This looks like a Lift knock-off. I have been using a mill grinder that doesn't use teeth or blades and that one is the easiest to keep clean.So......this grinder or "slicer" by Xhale.....
Is the customer service shitty? Yes
Is the shipping slower than molasses? Yes
Does it feel like a scam after placing an order? Yes
Does it seem like dude needs to go to business school and learn a little something about business basics? Yes
If you want one should you reach out and make contact about inventory in stock and ready to ship? Better fucking believe it and don't even chance it.
However, is it a really baddass grinder and perhaps the best one out there? Yes and yes.
For all the shit and he deserves it, I'll also say gawd damn that's some excellent craftsmanship and color me impressed.
Magnets? Well played Sir, well played.
The kief screen and scoop is a nice xtra but unwanted. I'll cut a piece of hard parchment paper to line that screen and also help keep the slicer from gunking up with resin.
All of it comes apart and all parts are held together by magnets.
The blade is substantial. IDK about all the Katana stuff but it's lethal.
Very well made but would prefer no coating. We'll see how that hold up over time.
Very much worth $89 IMO. It's heavy. Feels luxurious in my hand and seems like it should cost a lot more. It's a fine piece and almost art quality but functional

Bandit420, thanks for your review and honesty.
I too had a brief encounter with this company.
Regarding the product, I cannot comment on it, as I did not reverse my payment method and therefore, did not receive any product.
I will say this... based on the the fishy business practices of this guy, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw a house.
That is my recommendation...respectfully.
I usually use coffee grinder for my buds as well, like just being able to throw in a quarter or so and slap the top to chop quickly, razer blade the sides and crevices for trichome materielWell, I kinda broke down. It isn't the same, as I dont believe the blade is razor sharp. It instead, tears it a bit...I guess.
Anyway, I placed buds in it and ONLY pulsed carefully. The top is ultra clear and allows me to see the real time effects.
Although it is not what I was looking for, I am very happily surprised. Beautiful, fluffy perfect grind. I choose a course grind over fine. Again, not ideal and was not expecting to like it, but my mind is blown at the quality of the grind.
I clean the device after each use, and it is easy and recommended. It allows me to gently remove all material without any build up of the sticky stuff. Sure, I may lose some of it, but not as much as my other normal grinders. Hell, my expensive Brilliant Cut Grinder holds onto alot of sticky stuff.
But, the stupid off the shelf coffee grinder surpassed all other normal hand grinders, in delivering a fluffy un-smashed bud material, with minimal loss of that important sticky stuff!!!
I will keep looking for the razor sharp slicing device for cannibas, but for now...this one kinda rocks.
Additionally, I needed to prep some serious amounts for both strains I am currently enjoying at the moment. So this allowed a bulk preparation rather than a small amount at a time. Kinda like the Kactus Kutter, but without the smashing.

Glad you got it and you’re impressed with it. Pricey but if it’s a lifetime buy probably worth it.So......this grinder or "slicer" by Xhale.....

I’ve used three coffee grinders over the years. An old one that was my grandfathers was the first. When it died I got one like yours for coffee beans but used it for weed a few times. It died after a few years but for the price was worth buying again. Canadian Tire sells them, or at least that style. Current one is over a decade old. Beans took a chunk out of the plastic cap but otherwise still going strong. Coffee beans, mushrooms, and weed have gone in it. Mostly coffee beans though.Well, I kinda broke down. It isn't the same, as I dont believe the blade is razor sharp. It instead, tears it a bit...I guess.

That’s BS, $90 US and it sucks!Oh I forgot to mention the actual function of the grinder sucks. I guess you have to pregrind? IDK. but I got a pretty baddass blade I can design an actual slicer around it that truly does work like a meat & cheese deli slicer but with nugs

just passing this along, so a close friend of mine recently bought a new grinder at a festival. he smokes a lot, all doobs all day.
he highly recommends it and says in the past couple weeks he has put about five ounces through it and has not cleaned it once yet. fits on any standard mason jar...
he bought just the aluminum one. he got it for $55 at the fest.. he couldn't stop raving about it on the phone and praised it very high, something he doesn't do often. one of these weekends i'll go over there and check it out!!

Interesting but too rich for my blood. A quick search has the cheapest aluminum ones at $110 and stainless at $230.View attachment 116377
Not many video links for it yet. Didn’t find any showing it in use, just unboxing.

No worries man. I thought it was interesting so had a look. I could use a second large grinder but that’s a little frivolous for me. For half maybe.i was just passing the info along from a trusted friend... the shallower teeth had me thinking maybe it doesn't mutilate the trics as much... just talkin out my ass on that one though...
some pics he sent me...
