What's Cookin?

Today I was really inspired and served Brazilian indigenous north eastern food. Seems to be very heavy, in fact this is not. Also after smoking few amnesia hazes you will feel muchies.
Brown beans slow cooked with bacon
Cassava fried
Fried Sausages with onions fried
Dried Korn flakes with brown fried Garlic.

I don't know if that's your cup of tea! But in a beautiful afternoon everything is great.IMG-20250330-WA0020.jpeg

I have worked as a cook for 10 years. And I love this kind of real food tasty ya know. From the earth to the earth.

Looks tasty! I love cornbread and onions in my brown beans . I've never thought about using corn flakes and/or garlic. Sounds good though. This goes on my list of things to try.

Its very common in Brazil, originally called farofa is the Cassava flour cooked with bacon, crispy garlic to eat with beans. Now with the recent discoveries that corn can be a more friendly type of Carb, people can take a corn flake, crunch it, then fry a bacon and garlic in a pan, and add the crunched corn flakes and let it cook to the crispness you would like, then you serve in the plate next to the beans. It will make a perfect mix and match 🥰🥰🥰

Texas Toast French toast.
With home made maple syrup, whipped cream and a sprinkle of powdered sugar 😋
Oh and blackberries too
I ate it all before thinking about pictures 🤣
