Zen’s Spring 2026 Grow

Hey, your plants look great, that top pic is a beaut at 8 weeks she's got the sparkle to her, all over. Nice pretty girl.
Thanks PC. That’s the Sherbanger. She’s not a big producer per branch but she shoots out a lot of them that adds up. The GG#4 doesn’t like the same environment. It’s going to be just buds and no leaves at harvest time. The GGB#4 and GM are doing better than I expected all cramped up together in the 1x3.

I wish I had seeds for these two strains but not one hermy in two grows. Guess they were bred properly.

We are supposed to get over double digit nights soon but 13-14c as a high with drizzle, between bits of sun. It was a nice night last night a dusk, perfect spring weather for here, birds were happy just after a light rain the sun came out at sunset. I got most of the tree I had cut down moved to my fire pit still some small stuff I'll use the tractor and trailer for. I will have to mow soon some grass is a foot tall, sparse, easy to cut around back.
It was too hot a couple of nights after the long weekend but last night was nice here too. I think this good weather is also heading your way. Let’s hope it sticks around the next few months. 🤞

Glad the tree is getting done without any issues. I wish we could have a fire pit but bylaws even fine you if you use a chiminea. Too many dumb asses screwed it up for the rest of us.

I'm over 9 weeks and 2 are close to done I'll cut today/tomorrow/next day...lol ...maybe. they are still sucking water at 6 gal every 2 days so I'm in no hurry if they are still swelling..
You’re getting near the day 77-87 sweet spot. I’ll be about two week behind you.

Hope the Black Paw gang are doing well and you and the misses are enjoying yourselves. 👊

Yes getting close, I still haven't bagged up the Strawberry Purps in the Vcure although I'm smoking it.

Reveg? if its worth it, takes a long time, my last one didn't work.

My fire pit is huge we usually only have 1 -2 burns a year and it need to be damp when we do burn it up. I have a whole tree's set of branches on her now.1780327569850.pngTree being cut.JPG

Ah, it induces laziness when within reach. 🤣

My sons two clones I reveged. I knew we had time. Was worth it to me as they are the last of the strains.

Ah. Like my dads at the farm. Fun in your 20’s to 50’s. Just another chore when it’s you and the spouse after 60.

Sorry to hear the issue got to where the lawyers are required. I’m beginning to think I’m in the same boat with the city. The last $1k they just keep screwing us around.

I gotter all bagged up yesterday, I'm a bit concerned with the bags I bought, they are not grove bags so moisture doesn't escape. I googled the comparison and asked about storage in them with an included humidity pack. Ai recommended 58% packs but I can't locate any of the large bags at 58% so I put 1 of the 62% bags I have in each bag. I'll probably have to treat the bags like jars and burp for a bit but the weed seems good I may not have to burp much at all. I'll check them later.

Lawyers today, I'll find out more about what to expect and how to prepare. I'd like them to do the paper work cause I suck at writing, without spell check I'd be fked with too many erased and rewrit words dozens of times on a document doesn't look good.I also want a process server to give my neighbour the bad news. I could likely do this on my own, that's what small claims court is for but at what the total cost is I'm sure he'll have his own lawyer, ( I think he has a lawyer brother) with him so I need my own legal liar to combat any bull shit he may throw at me I'm not prepared for.

Having had two asshole contractor neighbours move in and try to take my property I can understand. One to expand his driveway and the other to make a side entrance to the illegal basement apartment.

Unfortunately the only two things that work is to be there and stop them, if only by standing in the way, or to call the cops and sue.

Tired of entitled fucks trying to take what’s not theirs. 😤

Son got his printer working again but it’s not perfect. He says it has a bad spot in one area. Anything printing in that section is a little f’ed up.

I took a chance and printed a cue rest that folds up to be portable.

It printed okay and I needed to weigh it down. I melted old lead 22LR bullets.

Then I waxed it in place.80219460551__1EEEE0D3-4F6A-4408-A25E-918376C58B49.jpeg

The top has a little lip to hold chalk and coins.80219817912__31A31B2A-F58F-44AB-A90E-4BA1C9C7A776.jpeg

It folds up and ends up the size of two packs of playing cards.

I’ll add a soft pad for the bottom and four magnets to hold the arm closed when storing.

wow your weapon makes me wish I had never let any of mine go from long ago. That cue is the McDrmott model M2WP also know as the "Panther". Wild fact but my brother and I and his 2 kids all have Black Panther tattoos on top of our right foot.

Your cue came out in the late 90s and Blue Book of pool cues indicates in good condition it is still worth near what it was new back then. That's pretty cool and I am very happy you don't want to part with it. Yes the memories are worth it all. The blood of enemies runs deep lol

man that is cool of you to look that up for me, thanks!!! i never really knew any info on it, just the name and the video i watched all those years ago when i bought it. i mean back then when they had a special tv just to watch a company promo video that was a big deal at the time!! hahaha marketing gettin me way back then!!

i've always had a thing for panthers for some reason.. even got a blacklight poster... hehe

@Stoneyluv I tried the Slicker on the oldest Dufferin. Just a few strokes made it like new.

I was worried about the obvious sanding pads inside the material which was why I asked. I’ll use it whenever cleaning with ISO and a micro cloth isn’t enough. Also to remove any blemishes that might occur.

sweet man, glad to hear you like it, i knew you would!!!

how do you like those gloves? does it feel weird at all?

20260529:

Vegetable garden is restarting. The ones that survived the rain storms are looking good. Have some peppers and cherry tomatoes in the VG just starting to pop out last night.

I was able to save my sons clones. Watering is under control and the one that was dropped has recovered and grown new roots.

They are GG#4 & SB#22, again, as we don’t have any seeds for these and we all enjoy the strains.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Pool/billiards is going well. We got our new cues and cases. I found a store in a super mall that’s still alive. They sell Dufferin and one or two other brands from China, Nemesis for example. Sad that only online places or box “gaming” stores are all that’s left for local billiards/pool supplies.

I did find a good new KAMUI tip for the old cue I gave him. I installed yesterday. Didn’t take long but I left the final shaping to him.

He’s finished it and burnished it. Looks good and now I’m itching to try it again, for old times sake. 🤣

Finally a nice weekend and reasonable temperatures with no rain expected, yet.

Have a great weekend people. 👊

nice glue job man!!! that should last for years!!!! do you guys happen to use a tip tap before chalking?

I had a thing for black planters for a while. I think it started with a cartoon when I was younger.

The place we play at is large, like 50 tables of different sizes. I was able to try a guys carbon cue he won and asked about his glove. He swore it was weird at first but he loved it now.

I’m finding the same. I’m used to wearing gloves but not in summer heat. After the first night out with them they have become part of the routine. A bonus is after you wash and dry off the glove forgives any lingering moisture.

It’s super slick on both wood and carbon and helps keep the cue even cleaner.

It’s a cheap investment I think you’d appreciate very quickly. I got us a four pack, two with full fingers and two with half. The half one has different palm mesh and is cooler to wear. Reminds me of bike gloves.

Added the magnets and used it yesterday. Works great on tables or window sills.

Tip tap? You mean one of these?

We used it on a new cue with a MH tip and my old cue. I also used it on the one I retipped for him to shape it. Great tool. I like the square design better than the tube type. It has different uses on five sides.

Now I have to go look up Tip Tap. 🤣
