Who’s the big softy…we are. 🤣👍

Not feeding them though. Raising the crests another level. Strawberries are already up.

Awesome view this Morning. Sometimes it just stops you in your tracks. Those willows in the back were planted by my girlfriend 20 years ago from a little switch off some tree on the side of the road.740BCDA0-3F70-42D3-8383-6DD2D7BEB334.jpeg

I have a baby coon that is trying to pass herself off as a cat! It’s hysterical! I call the cats and she comes too. She has just now stopped hissing at me when I offer her something. I’ll try to get a pic of her today.

We got way too many, but the same I just cant use them for target practice. But our dog is a different story. Ive caught her twice eating them all the way this year
I keep Willow on the stoop until I do a check. My last dog, Bear, used to catch squirrels. They waited 17 months after he passed before going in the yard again. Willows faster and has a great nose but doesn’t see them as quickly.

After three years of storage, she runs and stops on her own. Kiddos wanted to help kick off the grime.

So long I'm still around, and gasoline is available, I'll teach them both how to drive in this truck.

Learn on a standard and you can drive anything with wheels
I'd suggest learn on a go cart how to drive, break, corner, speed, slide sideways and have fun with it....after that driving is easier to understand. There are so many distractions for a new driver driving should be all ready learned. Now its time to learn how to drive in traffic and that's a whole new ball game.... If you're still learning how to maneuver a car and you add traffic, road signs, pedestrian's, stop lights, advertising signs, road work....& a clutch???? ........lol.... Just one addon is enough to boggle most new drivers try to learn all that in say LA/ NY/ DC or any high volume traffic city.........

Although todays kids have better hand eye coordination from gaming all their lives, in cars they don't get free resets to start fresh with a new life.

Taught my son in the parking lots of our supper centres over COVID. Had the place to ourselves most days.

Go carts won’t let you do that here. They kick you out. Home made carts haven’t been built since I was a kid. 🤣

Did we even add breaks? 🤦

Ya times have changed...we used to have Go cart tracks around and my neighbor had 3 us kids went wild on in our back lane in the summers. Lawnmower engine carts not all that fast but fun fun fun and driving came naturally after that.

Still have my old lawnmower engine in the garage. Saved it for son and his buddies. That was 6 years ago or more. Kids don’t want them anymore. We would have fought for them. In the 70’s.

Hate to toss it, that’s when I’ll need it. 🤣

Taught my kid how to drive manual on a blown out toyota pickup with a blown head gasket. He decided one day that he'd had enough of the toyota so he took my race mustang out for a drive to see what it was like. He said it handled really nice. I told him "Kid, what do you know about handling?!?". Little fucker thought he could butter me up before the hammer came down. I pulled his PS4 for 3 months. He told me it was worth it for as much fun as it was to drive the mustang. He had the balls to ask me if he could drive the mustang after he got off restriction. I told him "Are you fucking kidding me?!?" but secretly was kind of happy he wasn't afraid to drive a car like that.

After he got off restriction I took him to Willow Springs race track and let him drive the mustang around the track a few rounds.

First car was dads 79 mustang. (Really the Mercury Capri but no one new what that was.)

Race gears and shifter. 5.0L 302.

No lessons. No help. Just paid him and drove it home. Needed sand bags & winter tires! Fun car. Good times.

This is what good weed looked like when I was 8

It's very interesting there are so many strains from Oaxaca. My wife is Oaxacan and indigenous, she knows their language, Mexican, and English very well.

She never told me about any weed history there lol. Her grandma that still lives there continues to only cook over a wood fire every day.

The problem is I can’t hurt them or relocate. Some hunter. 😂😔

Now squirrels…different story. 🤬
I am highly amused by red squirrels, but they are insane, ninja-like rodents who will eventually wreak havoc and destruction if you tolerate them and they get the idea you're a pushover.

Yes, it's a battle of wits. Whenever i see one, I give it the "I'm watching you" sign, pointing to my eyes and then back at them. I'm pretty sure it puts shivers down their little spines.

Hopefully Waldo is a Wendy and looks like that healthy bush center of picture from across the pond.
I could stare at that forever~!
NICE!!!

That's a gray squirrel. I'm talking about this menace:

I can tell the guy who wrote the article is familiar with these beasts, using terms like "aggressive" and "murderous."

damn.. those little bastards are metal as fuck lol

If you guys line squirrels I really liked watching this

So funny how you can see their different personalities on the obstacle course

Edit: there's also a cool part in the video involving a slow motion breakdown of how a squirrel sticks its landing from crazy ass angles.

I have 3-4 red squirrels also, but they don't play well with me, the grays or anyone.
Seen one chase a turkey 20-30 times his size away from the feeder a few times.:ninja:

I think you meant mental~!

I enjoy watching them.
They say misery loves company, but they never mention how company feels about it?
🤷‍♂️

Willow just met a new red today. Cheeky bugger. He miss judged how quick she was but got saved by the split rail fence. 🤣
