Stoney's Luv Shack

Stoney, I apologize if I missed it, but what is this?
View attachment 25837

no apologies needed, that is my DIY gravity fed drip ring watering setup. it evenly waters all my plants at one time fairly slowly so there is no soil irrigation and because the airpots run out the sides if i water them too fast.

i can slow them down or even stop them with the pinches... i made them all different colors so it's easy to identify.

hey I've been wanting to ask you, how are you liking your peak pro?

i see they come stock with a 3d chamber now (mine was extra in the first gen) i was thinking of maybe getting the xl chamber.. $150 is steep and i have a feeling i'd burn my finger every time.

have you tried a terp pearl with it yet? i like a 5mm ruby personally

and thanks to bandits tip i like to use a ultrasonic cleaner for the atomizer.. i clean it in there once a week and never have any buildup. i use it almost exclusively to smoke though.

you're the only other person i know that has one. they're like the apple products of smoke gear, super expensive but performs pretty damn good. when i first got mine i put the bootleg firmware on it so i could use ready mode with any wireless charger not just puffco's but i didn't like the app layout and lighting choices on the bootleg and went back to puffco's OG firmware. it turns out i never use the ready mode anyway!!

the buttons on the app are a little goofy for the temp and time but i don't really change it much at all.

tell me what you think, i'm interested to know..

So are you just regularly monitoring for dryness and then manually opening the clips to water?

As for the peak pro I love it! I didn’t think there was a need for a terp pearl with the joystick chamber, so haven’t tried it. Cleaning with an ultrasonic machine is a great idea. Will do that! Honestly I dont use the app that much. I set my preferences and tend to turn it on, heat it up and rip it. I haven’t really used most of the other functions.

i don't really mess with the clips much, i have them all equally closed a little bit to choke the flow to make up for different length tubes. the jug and tubbing stay dry when not in use. when the plants want water i pour some in the jug and it just evenly distributes water to each airpot in a slow controlled manner.

it's not to make watering better, it's to relieve my back from bending over or squatting in front of the plants for five minutes waiting for a slow pour.

.
.
i forgot the 3d chamber came with the joystick, back when i got the chamber i didn't care for the joystick and put the oculus cap back on and that would explain my liking of the terp pearl.

i like to use the app when smoking with friends, they don't need to worry about what button and how many clicks.. not a lot of stoners like electronics in my click. so it's nice to be able to turn it on and off from across the room. it makes their experience better with it so i go along. but yeah when it's just us we never use the app, just the button.

🙃:)🙃

I've been liking the nutes from greengro lately and i picked this up on prime day...

DSCN1235.JPG

low nitrogen, can be used on seedlings and cuttings.. works with soil, hydro, teas, foliar...

DSCN1237.JPG

got it for $22 and should last a long time according to the application rates.. and it will last forever if it doesn't work for me!! :ROFLMAO:

i'm going to start using it on my seedlings right away and we'll all see what happens!!

.
.
i now have this, their veg nutes, bloom nutes, and finisher nutes. i used the bloom nutes for all of flowering last run and liked the results so far!! i didn't use the finisher last time though. i used something called incredible bulk. it worked good but it's kind of pricey. the greengro finisher is less than half the price so i just had to give it a try.

so i plan to make this grow in all coast of maine soil and green gro nutes. along with great white/killer crab and a couple compost teas along the way. nothing else added and we're gonna see what it ends up like.

.
.
all six of those beans have sprouted and are now in COM seed starter mix and watered in with great white. i plan to water them again tonight with the green aminos. i also moved my heater in there for them. it's getting chilly outside already and i put the heater in and want to use it throughout veg at least. i want to go with the Steamroller/Max technique and keep equal constant temps and not have a dip during lights out. they did it in the summer with AC, i'm going to do it with my heater. even now before winter with my 550 all the way up and no exhaust fan it only gets to 68* so the heater will work just fine i think. right now i have it at 78.4* steady as a rock! leaf temps at 75* and Rh is 41%

.
.

in other news... go 5 team for gettin r done yesterday in vegas!!! locked in the championship race!!! so proud!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a good thing it's the South Point 400 because if it was the South Point 401 that 20 car woulda taken it!🙃
Congrats to you and that 5 team! Looks like it will come down to two Hendricks cars and two Gibbs cars FTW. But yeah I think Larson has this season in the bag now.🏁
I'm checking out options from Greengro based on your post. Hydro has me curious. Their Hybrid Bloom might have some use in my room on the veggies.
I don't use "veg" nutes for anything, not even weed. Even my DWC was started on bloom nutes at the seedling stage and it seems with leafy greens and berries that will still apply for the most part.
But yeah Hybrid Bloom is possible but it would need a K boost for my veggies. Everything I have lined up for those is pretty far from organic as in nothing organic about it at all. Not sure my weed recipe will work either because it's such a low NPK and most hydro veggie formulas are around 9-12-34 with a whopping 15-0-0 calcium nitrate supplement. Meanwhile my weed recipe is around 6-10-10 😋

Happy belated birthday Stoney!

I made it to 55 before eyes and other things started to fail. 😝

Hope you had a great one. 👍

🩲!!!!

really mellow this year and didn't even celebrate..

when it comes down to it thats all we hope for is good health, right? i don't wanna say i'm unhealthy but i could stand to lose a few pounds. i'm only 5-10 and i'm 200lbs. i'd like to lose 20-30 by the new year.

maybe if i could actually stop killing plants i would walk my fat ass up and down the steps more to check on them!!:ROFLMAO:

C bell was strong all day, he sure had something for the 5 and i'm glad he didn't push it any harder. larson wasn't the fastest car on the track that for sure.

larson wants to stink it up bad this weekend, he likes this track a lot. this was the final four track in previous years. we'll see what happens, there's a bunch of great teams still in it!!!!

.

that's funny man, you mentioned that before i forgot to reply to your no veg nutes... i've never used any before either. i bought a ywo part pack from K4less many years ago and never even cut the bag open. i looked for it before i bought the greengro and it was all jellyed up and looked weird so i tossed it out.

my plan was to use it in a tea maybe week four or five if they seemed on track. i don't know though i'm going to play it by eye, and probably just end up using it on vegetables or flowers. when i first bought it i wanted to see what it looked like and mixed like so i used some full strength on my hydrangea and man that thing made a huge late season growth spurt.. i hope i didn't fuck up it's cycle or anything. haha

i'm gonna give my two younger peach trees a feeding with it in the spring... OH i was dupped... my so called one "peach" tree is a nectarine tree!! but those nutes came in a 2lb bag for like $20. the tea rate is 1/3 cup for five gallons of tea!! good thing the expiration date is 2028!!!

i'm definitly not sold on the company yet but i'd sure like to give them a try.

Those are some high numbers for hydro from what little I understand. I think that the most basic 5-12-26 end with like 14-12-26 all in. I have used a few 0-12-24 products with good results. The thing about the calcium nitrate is it has to be lowered later into flower.

Check out manjaro

The SURMOUNT-3 and SURMOUNT-4 trials conducted by Eli Lilly found that when taking tirzepatide (Mounjaro), patients with obesity experienced 26.6% weight loss over the course of 84 weeks.

Over the last year I have lost 143#. The last half of it was with the help of manjaro. I feel 10 years younger. might switch back to a sportbike next summer.

Stoney, no doubt CBell had something for Larson the last 30 laps. I may be mistaken but I believe Larson went around him earlier in the race.
I saw it as Larsons car performance fell off the last 50 laps and CBells car improved pretty substantially the last 50 laps

yeah i think he passed him in the beginning, everybody was real loose and larson was tight.. they loosened him up good and short pitted under green, that's what got him out in front... i'm a huge fan of the short pit!!!!! when it happens i get all excited and hoot n holler at the tv and shit!!

but once larson tagged the wall it made him tight all over again and they had to start over... that yellow flag saved their day and made it possible to even contend at the end.

the team dug hard and pulled through but he surely wasn't the fastest car, but had one hell of a pit stop!!

Anything else required? Diet, exercise, routine?

Anything else required? Diet, exercise, routine?
Short answer is that it slows down your guts. Emptying of stomach is slowed way down, so you don't really feel hungry.

It's the opposite of weed in terms of giving you the munchies. Uses the same hunger signals to your brain in the opposite way.

If you do nothing else, you will lose weight because you just aren't hungry and all that "food noise" and snacking goes away. But if you also change your diet and only eat good stuff you lose weight fast.

Ah. This is the diabetes medication I’ve heard about on the news this year. Diabetics are upset as regular people are taking all the stock and driving up prices. But this is just from CTV news.

Still interesting and cool if safe and not depriving others in need.
