Stoney's Luv Shack

The force of the moon does not need to be seen.
It is a true force that moves tides higher I have seen many times in my life.
I worked with 'crazys' on locked secure units for 12 years and some of those guys wouldn't have known it was a full moon if you explained it every day to them, yet they flipped their shit on full moons like clockwork~!
I think with plants like the ocean when full it pulls more liquid higher in the plant.
When fading it allows for more liquids around roots. That keeps the stress of removal lower IMO.

On breeder times going from first pistil that would explain a lot.
Why people think they go so long since many never see pistils until 2 weeks after flip.
With female seeds I have almost always seen pistils before I flipped/ started counting flower even going 18/6 right to 12/12.
That would explain why I always think I chop early when my plants always seem to say they are ready~!

yeah i kinda thought of that after i hit post... gotta be more than a sight thing, full cycles and stronger than the universe kinda thing. maybe changes gravity or something... got to be a science to it..

i've noticed this with clones as well... they just seem to make that transition a little smoother than reg seeds.

I think it is a water thing.
When I bred fish spawning or live bearer births were all but guaranteed on or near full moons.
Many give birth at night for survival.
It was kind of funny but after a year or so with certain fish it was all but guaranteed.
They were all in my fish room in the basement with windows covered and lights on timers.
I told them they were all in South America. Kind of trying the same with my plants now.:p
Its always 82 and sunny~! They never saw the moon once in their life~!

that's just crazy man, some serious voodoo!!! i never noticed if my fish act different on full moons.. they act crazy sometimes i'll have to pay attention more!!!

next thing ya know you'll have me looking at my horoscope!! :ROFLMAO: but i'm a libra ya know, scales.. i can go back and forth on this all day!!! 😆😆

I've always been a fan of the sugar waxes. Pretty cheap for the flavor.

me too, sugars are my favorite consistency! i wish i could/knew how to make it...

Cherry on top sounds great~!

that one smells the best too!!! thats the order i plan on smoking them in!! the second one is banana punch which i've had multiple times and just can't say no!!! hehe

so it was suggested to me that i clean up my mess of a printer filament storage....

007.JPG

she's right, it was a mess!! bought a shelf and ditched the boxes...

002.JPG

looks like i got room to buy more filament now!!

That's cool how Y'all are tapping into the natural tendencies rather than a sort of traditional program. I've seen outdoor plants pop pistils at over 13 hours of light. I think 12/12 is just a broad suggestion. I remember first grow indoors and book ideas were push it past 12 with the thought more light = more bud.

I'm a believer of full moons making certain types loose their shit. Last full moon I witnessed 3 suv vs pedestrian accidents all of them being a similar looking woman driver running over a nerdy looking fella. Never seen anything like it then I see 3 over a 40 hour stretch during a full moon cycle.

With ganja yeah I don't think the moon has much to do with anything but I wonder often if they know their longitude and latitude with a sort of magnetic/gravity gps system inside and if it lines up close to genetic traits that are eons old the plant produces better. And if it's a bad match we get mutants 🙃

I gotta get mine fixed. Theres stuff i wanna make lol.

you sure do man, it's been far too long that it's been a paperweight!!

i'm really liking this gradual timing in what i see in the plants. i'd like to make a few more runs doing it before i really decide though. especially considering my setbacks in this run. i'd like to be more aggressive with it next time, maybe dip the timer three times a week, or even try for everyday.

part of me is still a little skep though, i mean if it was such a great thing why wouldn't it just be the way?? and if gradual timing made it better why isn't there places lined up looking to rip us off with some sort of a timer that took 2 minutes out a day like nature?? and is even duplicating nature the best thing?, what if we could beat nature in growing ganja and we just don't know it yet?? it sure is fun trying!!

Man that's where I'm at with it. Evryone saying it simulates nature but have you seen the weed that nature produces? Around here it's nothing but ditchweed. Sure maybe some of the landrace stuff grows great under the sun, but that same shit grows exceptionally well indoors...

you sure do man, it's been far too long that it's been a paperweight!!
You're gonna hate me..... but its just kinda shoved in my 2x2.... with all my other "useless shit" 20240115_180122.jpg

Kinda upsets me to even look at it honestly. Its cool and all, but a major pain in my ass cause i dont understand a thing about it and really have no motivation to learn any of it....
And it just keeps fking up and idk, ive dine everything i was told to do to fix it and it doesnt do anything its supposed to🤦🏻🤷🏻

that bucket in there doesn't look useless!!!! is the handle broken or something?!?! :ROFLMAO:

seriously though, if you ever get a bug about getting it going i'll help you!

ahhhh so that's where ya keep it all!!!!!! your pics always look so clean and lab style... i knew you had to have a messy spot somewhere!!! hahaha

Lmao, 90% of it is usefull, but my wife tells me its all "useless shit" lmao.
There are like 3 things in there that are broken, but some super glue would fix em right up! Lol 😆

the only thing i see as useless is the tent doesn't have plants in it!!!!!!!

I have one of those also.
I used it during my second grow for clones.
Hard to use it for much else besides starting seeds and clones.
I was gonna try a scrog in it but i need at least 5 foot or id have to set the table at 8 inches off the floor lol.

Im definitely gonna keep it and use it as a propagation station when i move.
Gonna lay it down on its side with a t5 or 2 inside it and just use it as a 2x4x2 seed starter/cloner.
One of the things i got from VS at thcf

Mine is actually 2x4x4 but still impractical for anything long term.
It does fit in the room which is how I used it.
It allowed for 2 lighting schedules which is what I am after now.
May have to use it to start next grow early?

that's the only reason i kept my two cabinets instead of taking down the middle wall. i planned to veg before the flowering girls were finished. and then tighten that timing up till close to a perpetual but in rounds not plants... life's dreams!! hahahaha

If i could figure out how to get it so i was flowering the 3x3 and 4x4 at the same time, id use the 2x2 more but i have a 3x3 that i never flower in anymore so i just use it for veg. Need to get back to flowering in it though, i need to grow more bud! Run out to fast

i got a little work done in the veg cabinet tonight... i took bandit's advice and put in a table. i should have done this years ago... no more bending over, lots more room, a table to set tools on, provides a little shade for cuttings, still lets air circulation from top to bottom... can't think of a single negative!!

003.JPG

a little basil, dill, parsley, and cilantro... heats not turned on and the light is at 10%... can't be costing me that much to keep this growing... i'll let it roll!!!

005.JPG

the grass is a little greener on the other side though.....

Those plants look like they are loving life~!
So when do we start the next grow? 🤷‍♂️
I have never felt I vegged too long but have to fit in confined veg space until the flowers are done.
At 14 hours going to 13 in 3 days could we really have more than 10 weeks of flower?
We should be done by 4/1 easy huh?

they are happy for sure... last week i gave them their first dose of some sugar... they responded well!!! added to that was some great white, green aminos, and some killer crab. other than that it's been straight water!!

i'm gonna ditch one of nine plants, the tangie hasn't grown much at all in the past couple weeks and she's gonna get swallowed up so i'm going to take that one plant out and leave the middle spot open. let the rest of the plants share that space.
.

ya know man i've been wanting to bring up the next start for almost two weeks now. my first mono crop vegged for nine weeks, this one is over thirteen right now.. by those numbers i should have started a month ago!!! haha

my plan was to wait till i was 12/12 for a couple weeks but i might get started earlier. especially if i try that aggressive mainlineing!!

i'm really hoping to be done 8-9 weeks into 12/12. i see no reason at all why we wouldn't be done by 4/1... and i was thinking of maybe even some earlier. i'll have eight strains from four different breeders so anything can happen but i'm hopping some are ready by the 28th maybe even the 21st of march!! 🍀

I think I'll be getting the tent into the room in the next couple days to get ready to germinate~!
I really like the mainlining idea and have read some.
They all say increased yield similar to scrog and nothing special beside the training.
Most top 3 times for 8 tops.
Here; https://www.growweedeasy.com/mainlining-nugbuckets
Between that and JonnyBio84 I think we got this.
I searched that link specifically for strain preference.
They say sativa is not best choice nor clones.
They say indicas or strains that grow 1 main bud naturally like a Christmas tree are best.
They say this is the chosen method for those with height limits.
