I use the new shopping bags as grow bags in my crates. Three years seems to be how long they last before replacement is required.

I was just saying to my wife we need to stock up on new ones when I spot these a block from the house. All empty except for a new package of rope and some receipts. After inspection a few were ripped but over 30 bags ready to go. 👊

Hello guys it's the weekend again naturally I've a random pic to share with you all 🤗

A Crookes radiometer.

it's a cool toy and it can shed some light on the ir emitted from led 😂
Sitting on my dehumidifier it hits ± 60rpm that's evening sun territory at 57⁰ north 🤫

Have a great weekend everyone 🍻

I see 6/ 6.5
Check if directions say to hold in front of white or a light or what.
I see 6 above the plate and 6.5 where I see the plate through the sample.
All the aquarium test I used to do were color type test.

Sharp....Eye there!!! I missed that..it dose not say to do that, but I do anyway when I pH everything else... Get ready to continue then

I see 6/ 6.2+ on second picture.
Next secret trick is always perfom that test exactly the same.
Same lighting, same background.
Whether it is 6 or 7 doesn't matter in reality.
You have a 'baseline' and now can document how the grow was impacted and make adjustments in grows down the rode.
That is how I made the color reagent test effective for me in aquariums when many found them useless.
Consistency is your friend when testing.

That's what I'm thinking buddy.... gonna try 7 for a pH value. And let the plants tell me...
I see around 6

I use drops, I'll post what I use when I get in the house, it's for a very limited range though not sure if it would work for you

I like my pH at 6.8 in soil (or Pro mix) because then it has a longer way to drift down before it gets below 6 in the root zone, I use Dolomite in soil so it locks it in the mid 6's anyway, but not in Pro mix it already has dolomite in it

I was sitting outside the other day thinking I need to mow again. Understand that we don't have a "lawn" here but some mixed native grasses and weeds. I was tryin out some of that LA Coup, got me ripped off my arse and I was staring at these weeds and noticed these particular weed had some tiny white flowers. I saw them again today and was like, I want a closer look. So I took my scope and took a photo of them close up, they are very pretty and you would never notice unless you get ripped and space out on it,

Anyhow, here is a photo of the weed in a little cup with water, and then a close up of one of the flowers at 100x. Cool cool.

Did a little kayak river float with the family on Sunday. I assume these are still referred to as "Canadian" geese, but I won't pretend to keep up with single executive order.

I only found out a few years ago that they aren’t protected up here anymore. Buggers get in groups and take over parks and ponds, sometimes pools. One park near a school has warning signs as they will go after you.

They're thick down here, too. Just hanging out in fields like cattle, lol. Had a huge gaggle cross the road when I was going to visit a buddy. They didn't get in any hurry and I had to sit there for a minute.
