Mushrooms are an interesting species especially those magic ones 🤪

Hello everyone...
Whit there's a connection with pythium and fungus gnats?

It's only fungus gnats that need dealing with afaik.

Fwiw folks I've dried them back as much I dare and used H202 @1.5% (thats strong af aprx 4-1 of 12%) but that didn't finish them completely either.

I've used bti at max for two weeks with daily feeds again it's not killed them completely either.

Step #3 is where I'm at next it's permethrin but I'd say the plants are starting to look better?

I've a few plants I tested ipa on that made a notable difference but there was serious side effects for going to heavy with it.

Fyi ipa @20% sprayed onto the top of pots kills larvea and pupae but you need to take it easy or it'll wilt the plant, more small applications is better than one heavy one.

@20% ipa kills adults and overspray doesn't harm foliage.
I did spray a couple of leafs full on with 20% ipa without problems but only twice idk about repeated applications over a short period, that's it for now.

Take it easy folk's
I gave up fighting my fungus gnats, plants were fine and made it to a nice harvest but yea....fuckers...

I've only just got rid of them I think?
They were hatching 6/7 weeks after sealing that might help explain why they're so damn difficult to shake.

The plants don't seem to mind their pots in bags?

I picked up these mesh filter bags to put my pots in they're available in 1,2 and 5 gallon.

I'm going to keep the pots inside them to prevent the issue happening again.

I got one these to put in the room hopefully to catch anything that might stray in.

I seen something I can't make sense out off it i need another perspective?

When I look at the sun it moves from my left to my right, east to west.
So I'm watching TV "the last frontier" and the sun rises up to the left like what appears west to east, I've since noticed it 100 times on various TV documentaries and I'm also seeing the sun rising left to right it differs.

I put it down to TV trickery or something, so I'm looking at a solar analemma and what do I see?
Screenshot_20241221_182148_Brave.jpgScreenshot_20241221_153851_Google.jpgI can't imagine a situation where it might make sense, that appears to Greece which is in the northern hemisphere?

What am I missing?

I made this years ago. Looks like I was under the influence when I made it too 🤣. This brings me to a debate when do you guys take down your Christmas tree? My parent always left theirs up until the 1st. I’ll take ours down this weekend. What about you folks?

Growing up, tradition was on the 2nd.
Now that I'm an adult and make the rules, we don't even put one up anymore and lemme tell ya, it's nice!!
We used to do a nice tree with a train around it and everything but I'd say starting around 6-7 years ago we stopped and it made Xmas even that much more enjoyable not having to set it all up and pack it away after the season.

That's super cool~!
When we had our son in the house we would keep the tree up till sometime around Jan 1-6.
Now without kids' trees are hit and miss.

I bet it is! I have 3 kids in the house so we do it for them.

I made a giff of a character I found in run off.

I left it like 15 mins roaming around hoping it would pause so I could get a proper look but it never broke pace so I squished it 🫤

Wife and son love these.

I needed a good temporary container to put in the fridge with my seeds. 🤣IMG_2370.jpeg

Hoping to find or make a test tube/vile holder that fits a container.
