We know what it is, just wondered if anyone else had ever seen them. They are usually cooked and used in jellies/jams. Like a cross of apples and lemons.
Never tried but a quick Amazon search has only a few hits.
They can climb trees too. First one I ever saw sitting in a branch 8’ off the ground freaked me out.

G$ just found out today that a groundhog/woodchuck can climb 3’ fences.

When I went to buy fencing for the garden asked for 3-ft chicken wire fencing...
Clerk says "you need 7 ft deer netting"

he says because deer can jump six feet!
I love catching Coho and Steelhead out of a couple rivers an hour from home. Haven’t been since Covid though.

Our run is in late May, can’t fish until after. I try a few things but have great luck with small devil spoons. Red and white work best for me but yellow and red work too.
Pretty much the only fish I still eat. I’ll do trout or salmon on occasion but usually put them back or give them away to family. Wife and some love fish.
My spots for river fishing are between Pickering and Kingston Ontario.

Up in Parry Sound we were visiting our in-laws cottage. My brother-in-law asked me to drive him into town to do a food/beer run.
On the way into town we see a deer up on a small cliff beside the road, it’s behind a standard metal and post fence. As we pass it jumped over the fence and us to land on the other side of the road in a field. Total caught us off guard. Had no idea they could jump that far or high, didn’t even need a running start.

bog bubblegum repo... I've a female bubblegum this bad boy is going to pollinate.
I didn't think about this before, tbh breeding isn't my thing, I mean I've chucked some pollen before but there's no real passion for it I like i have for growing,i love growing, anyway its easier to pollinate a few lower buds then bin them if I'm not impressed, the alternative of growing more bubblegum seeds to find another suitable male, well it would all require some planning to get the moons aligned again?

When the time comes while I'm pollinating them I'm going to dab a few other lower buds, I've a nice variety of strains to dabble with...some good quality bubblegum terps would be epic!

Take it easy
I stopped going every weekend when I couldn’t catch a fish that didn’t have zebra muscle eggs all through it. A lot of visitors don’t empty the water out of their engines. Passed eggs to most of the places I liked to bass or pickerel fish.
Wow. Up hill I wouldn’t have believed. Mine was above us on a cut in jumping down. It was like a 8’ high dirt cliff with a 4’ metal field fence.
To this day I only half believe it too, but the footprints in the new snow seem to show that's what happened
I just wouldn’t have expected it either. I’d be looking for snow drifts hiding tracks.
That's the beauty of this because it had just started snowing and there was maybe an inch on the ground and it was the first snowfall of the year, maybe two weeks after I moved here plus I saw something fly by the window. I've got to measure it I know exactly where it landed because there's a little divot in the field and like you say I'm guessing that something was nipping at its heels when it lept into the air it kind of went left to right but it also went up the hill quite a bit too. Wouldn't do any good now the hay is too high but when the hay is cut I'm going to put cones out and use a tape measure on it. this was bugging me since it happened cuz I didn't think anything could jump that far
