It's about weed growing and weed growing accessories I tell you what!

I just finished up new pole mounts, turnbuckles, and slide stops for yet another thing that doesn't exist. Retractable horizontal trellising.
Dude...

What if you get one of those old-school spring-loaded blind retractor-majigs...

Build some custom mounts and attach a trellis to it. Bada Bing Bada Boom

Thanks. I had taken note of you and others preferring the gordito over the other bubbler they offer. Definitely want the capsules for pre-loading convenience and your mention about easier cleaning makes sense.

Lobo is my day to day. I rarely do joints in the winter. We don’t allow any smoking in the house but vaping is fine in the basement.

Gordito is great for at home but the longer bubble straw is what we use the most. Short straw gets too hot when passed around. The longer one is perfect. It also travels in your pocket much better. Gordito can piss in your pocket if you’re not careful.

Above pic is what we use most often. Usually two or three of us pass it each session.

I hope you like it. 👊

I was thinking about a holder for hydro tools

There were a couple grows a few years back where I used my light winches to hang a frame with a net and I could use the remote control to raise and lower it to get at just the right height. It would twist a little but it worked.

A good trellis is pretty much the final frontier for me. I like the idea of kinda making a net like a spider does a web. One string at a time and only deploying strings I need where I need them instead of a net covering everything.

I like new idea and possibilities. So good on you for thinking outside the box there!!

I set up the other side of yoyos today and started to pull some tops away from the center so each plant has some decent space to fill in.

IMG_2339[1].jpeg

Also did a rez change and cleaned up some under canopy stuff.
Moved the rez out from under the tables. This is where the hydraulics will come into play pretty much negating the issue of flood and drain tables always needing to be above the rez.
While that is true for the operation to function, the bed doesn't need to be over the rez when it's not being flooded so the tables will lower down to the flood if and when head space is needed.

I need a cover for the rez though because I just know my phone is gonna end up in that drink if I don't cover it!

IMG_2343[1].jpeg

Mondays and Tuesdays are maintenance and step up days so along with all the adjustments etc the nutes and lighting are also increased.
Right now, I'm seeing 9 pointers the size of dinner plates and that's telling me max potential is there to be had as long as I don't fuck it up.
Nute strength is a feel as I grow and go kinda thing, matching growth stage and rates to lighting output. Add in the variable of removing leaves and branches and being indicas then reducing strength accordingly using the Cultivation Nation schedule.
Today it's dead on at 75% strength transition ratios. They're keeping 3 gallons a day and I alternate the top off between clean water, mycos water, calmag, and micro.
Floods are once daily with a pump run time of 20 minutes. Might increase to 2 floods per day but also considering adding a riser to the inlet so the bottom coco slab and channels always have water in there for the roots to sip on between floods.
Been watching the moisture meters to decide when and if but for right now, steady as she goes.

I'm using a benchy to let me know how well the rez is mixing but now I'm thinking I need to print more and have some boat races on rez change day.
After setting the rez, I keep it mixing like this unless it's time to flood.

Double checking to make sure I'm not gonna torch 'em

I printed it but didn’t design the file. With the app I can DL from the phone to the printer, make some changes/adjustments.

The first one I printed was to tight. Had to dremel the holes. That’s in the bedroom now. Second print was 1% or 2% larger. Perfect fit now.

Eventually I’ll get another computer and get into it but not this year.

I tried to find the link on Makerworld but it’s missing. Other POTV stuff is there but not the base. Might have found it elsewhere but things get removed for different reasons. 🤷‍♂️

I think I posted it way back when Bandit got his Lobo?

How high does the water raise brother????

That ec stick, that's the multi-function stick, because I was looking for something as a backup to the blue lab machine

I did pick up that pH pin but that was just a bonus, I haven't figured out yet what I want to use for the backup check er,
But it's on my short list.... I don't remember if it's three that they measure or just the two?

Trying to wrap my head around the registration at Bambu and what I'm gathering is stuff is different for you guys in Canada than it is here in the US.
I'd have to do some digging because I read the stuff on reddit around the new year when it all changed here. I skimmed thru much of it because it didn't really pertain to me at the time but from what I gather there was/is a huge stink here over 3D printed guns. So much so there was rumblings trying to make it illegal to own a 3d printer as if the4 only reason to buy a 3d printer was to make guns. Idiot politicians being idiot politicians and they went after Bambu first.
Bambu had some liability in it or was trying to shield themselves from liability. Some people lost their accounts or could not recover stuff, IDK.
All I do know is to stay away from trying to 3D print a gun or downloading gun files. Like I even read a potato gun could get people in trouble. This may or may not apply to you since you're in a different country and for people here in the US there may be a way around that, like pirating movies kinda shit, but I have way too much to lose to be fucking around with that stuff so it's not worth it.
It doesn't bother me at all because I have no intention of 3D printing guns or parts for guns.
My mantra is making things that don't exist so when it comes to guns, they already exist, so 3d printed guns don't interest me and especially not if a file could get me in trouble with the law.
Other than that, everything is groovy for me and the Bambu Studio for slicing and sending prints thru the cloud.
You and your son probably have no idea how ez and user friendly the A1 is compared to other printers but there's like an ocean wide gap there. There's things it does automatically that are manual with other printers and honestly a real hassle. Not needing paper to set the Z offset is just one but that's huge!!! Loading and unloading filament as well. The A1 is almost too ez and the studio slicer is nuts compared to Creality and Cura.

Almost all the way to the top rim of the bed.
I 3D printed a stand pipe to run about 3 inches deeper than what's normally used then fit with a bag that will keep the surface of the medium at least 2 inches above the flood to prevent any damp off and deter gnats.

You can see the water lines well developed now

IMG_2349[1].jpeg

I also chose these bags because they're more like a skin than a grow bag.
If you see the other kind of bags, the thick felt like material used in this, they'll hold salts and the build up can cause problems. These are so thin and skin like salts wont collect as fast or build up in the material and bind up in it.
This is what to avoid when using bags in flood and drain and if it happens then stuff like that Sledgehammer or another salt cleaner would be needed in the nutes.
Using thin bags and super clean premium nutes will help reduce this. But if you use thick felt bags and dirty dry salt nutes like Jacks or something similar, this salt build up can be a major issue and burn up a plant/garden

20240930_174140-1400x788.jpg

Yeah that's a BlueLab truncheon meter. Bought it a long time ago when I first started in hydro. Been reliable for close to 15 years.
It has a scale for everything...CF, EC, x500ppm, and x700ppm.
Cultivation Nation uses the x700 and my strawberry tower uses EC so yeah the one meter can measure TDS to whatever range the nute supplier recommends

;bbuild

I found a cover for my reservoir. Race used sheet metal ;smoke

So it seems. That or it’s a new process since he bought his. Since firmware 01.04.00.00 lets you use any slicer and the latest v01.06.00.00 locks you too Bambu Labs slicer it might be here as well. BTW Orca slicer is supposed to be a popular one but we haven’t tried it. (I found that funny as the first tool I taught myself to use to manipulate MSI files was Microsoft’s Orca.)

Ah, this reminds me of the ghost gun BS that came out when 3D printers started gaining popularity.

That’s weird. I’ve seen water pistols, rubber band guns, air soft/paint ball, and a few real steel items like chassis and brass catchers.

I’ve seen one barrel for a Ruger 10/22 that was printable. It was advertised as a prop part so not sure if it was hollow or filled. Not what I was looking for or interested in.

It doesn't bother me at all because I have no intention of 3D printing guns or parts for guns.
In the home consumer world printing guns IMO is a waste of time and effort. They will never stand up to repeat use. Even parts are an issue as wear and stress would be a big deal.

Parts like I print are mostly accessories. Rail covers, grips, maybe a flashlight holder. Brass catchers are real handy.

Even the chassis and hand guard aren’t really part of the firearm. It’s a change of clothes. A different look that the firearm sits in.

IMO nothing bigger than a .22LR should have any printed “parts” not even a chassis. It would be a disaster waiting to happen.

My mantra is making things that don't exist so when it comes to guns, they already exist, so 3d printed guns don't interest me and especially not if a file could get me in trouble with the law.
Other than that, everything is groovy for me and the Bambu Studio for slicing and sending prints thru the cloud.
That’s fine. Mines a combination of making things I need. New ideas or old parts for repairs. Even without a computer I’ve been fortunate enough to find files that already exist to help with that. So far the only thing I’ve seen that’s illegal are items that ignore copyrights. But I’m not really looking for illegal items so can’t comment further.

You and your son probably have no idea how ez and user friendly the A1 is compared to other printers but there's like an ocean wide gap there.
I think I’m about a year or two older than you. I majored in architectural and mechanical drafting. I grew up learning about computers in high school and built my first computer in a plywood box. CAD was new and the latest and greatest thing to hit the drafting world. What we use today all have its roots going back to that. Even the big plotter printers that made the white prints is the same tech used by the 3D printers. The roller was just replaced with a flat bed.

My son was taking architecture in college, auto cad was one of things he aced and helped other students with. He dropped out in year two when Covid made the schools close but they still wanted payments.

So neither of us know the difference between 3D printing 10 years ago vs printing today but we have more than a bit of familiarity with this type of software and hardware. The ease of use hasn’t escaped our notice. We looked for it. I was the one who kept telling him to wait and look for easier machines. He picked the A1 after a year of hunting and I agreed.

Strangely it doesn’t help overly much when shit goes wrong. Lol

There's things it does automatically that are manual with other printers and honestly a real hassle. Not needing paper to set the Z offset is just one but that's huge!!! Loading and unloading filament as well. The A1 is almost too ez and the studio slicer is nuts compared to Creality and Cura.
I don’t even know what that would involve. I do remember trying to get a sheet of Mylar to sit on the printer roller so I could print the white print before taking it to make blue prints. That could be a pita. 3’ sheet of paper that had to be perfectly straight so it could roll up and down on the roller while the print head shoots back and forth with an ink pen making the drawing.

In Canada it is legal to make non restricted firearms. You can’t sell them but you can make your own. You can’t work on other peoples firearms either unless you are a gunsmith. (At least for now.) During firearm buy backs even a hockey stick with a pipe and a nail hooked up to a trigger device was considered a shotgun.

I’m a target shooter and used to hunt and remove farm vermin. I might do deer and Turkey in the future but I’m content with target shooting. If I can print rail covers for a better grip or a new chassis that is lighter and doesn’t look like a big scary black gun then I think that’s great.

Luckily ammo up here has needed a license to buy/make since my late teens or early twenties. I’m assuming you guys have something similar but IDK.

I have more of an issue with all the things like bongs and grinders being made of toxic plastics being advertised as a safe/good idea. Smoking a joint in an apple as a kid was silly but pretty harmless I think. Printing a bong and sucking hot gases through it just seems wrong to me but I haven’t looked into it. Maybe they have food grade filament for it?

Bad people will always find a way to make or do bad things. Stupid people will always ruin things for the rest. Just look at a take out coffee cups warning to be careful it’s hot.

I’m just tired of big brother either deciding what I can and can’t do based on political issues. We’ve had more stabbings and car attacks the last five years than I can recall in the 40 years prior. We can’t ban or prohibit knives and cars. In stead we screen drivers every 5 years when the license is renewed. More often after 70’s iirc. But that won’t stop most bad people either.

Anyway. Just my view point. Different times, different world than I grew up in. Common sense was replaced with entitlement and selfishness. It’s never their own fault but rather someone else that gets blamed and it keeps getting worse.

I will refrain from posting any more firearm related items going forward though. To me it’s just another tool I can modify. But I can understand others might find it distasteful.

America is a land of reactionary lawsuits and laws man. It sucks because there's always gonna be somebody who has to ruin it for everybody else.
Like I think we're just now finally getting back to not having to take our shoes off before before security checks at airports.
Politicians are lawyers by trade and man do they love to take nothing and make something out of it. Meddling fuckers, the whole lot of them sticking their noses into shit they have no business sticking it in.
I'm fine with plastic gun parts but agree a functioning 3D printed gun would be disposable and in those regards, only one reason for a disposable single use gun so on one hand I understand keeping track of printers and making sure some files don't go public.
I'm just one of those blue steel and mother of pearl type guys when it comes to guns. Love a good looking revolver but here I only have a shotgun for home protection. I don't hunt or anything like that. When we go to Vegas we've rented machine guns + a .50cal Desert Eagle and a "Dirty Harry" 44 magnum and got our fix.
I was in the Army on a howitzer so I kinda have a thing for the big guns people can't own legally but can rent at ranges.
There's a place down in Uvalde that rents flame throwers and can even fire a round from a WWII tank I want to visit but they're super expensive. I think they even let people shoot a minigun from a helo about 50' off the ground.

My first and favorite piece of metal art is even a cannon I picked up a few years after I was discharged. Not sure if it will still fire a round though hahaha

IMG_2358[1].jpeg

I did create a holster though.
Doesn't hold a gun....

IMG_2355[1].jpegIMG_2353[1].jpeg

I'm gonna make a file for the Lobo too. I can make it clip onto pockets like I have or I can make it so it attaches onto a belt. Make it into a utiltiy belt and have a bunch of vapes on it like stoner batman or something.
I'm making these for my dog walk & vape sessions so the hot vape isn't in my pocket and also so the Pivot stays upright and doesn't leak it oil.
I'm making them with TPU as well so they hold up well.

Y'all were talking about hydro tool holders...ez peezey on Tinkercad
I made this little wall mounted shelf spots to hold vessels I use for pH testing and calibration. It's mounted above my water tank for convenience too so I have this weird little custom water chem lab fit to my needs.

Man I haven't opened the app since I finally got the Race Day light show going and figured out the two tap to go without the app.

i kinda had a feeling of that. after messing around with it i like the new version better. it's way easier to change the temp if you only want it to move a couple degrees. i used to struggle with that slider bar a lot trying to get it right where i want it. the new app has the slider and now a + and - button to change one degree at a time.

Well the other time too when my wife wanted to see if I really named my Peak, Lana Del Blaze, after one of her fave musicians, Lana Del Rey. I also told her if the Pivot had an app it would be named Penjamin Franklin. She just shakes her head and mumbles "My husband" and sighs.

hahaha i get those looks and head shakes constantly!! haha most times i don't even have t try very hard!! hehehe

We have Saturday off with the bye next weekend then on the road to Florida. Gotta watch the wires though because all is not well in the Swamp. They could fire the coach but also deliver an ultimatum, beat Texas and keep your job. Lose and you're fired on Monday. So either way, I expect that game to be like fighting a cornered honey badger.

wow you guys get the early bye week this year!! awesome you'l have an easy weekend though!!! enjoy the extra time!!!!

Grabbed that 375 point bonus for fantasy so it's another good weekend for grabbing points! 10,642 after Cup check in!!!
Green flag about to drop!!!!

i was happy to get a little bonus this week... ;hd

I found a cover for my reservoir. Race used sheet metal ;smoke
No chance of me or my phone falling in there now!

sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good call man a cover is a must!!! i couldn't tell you how many times i dropped something on my rez lid... pens, screws, fittings, almost dropped my ec meter in there once!! Grump and i were talking and i told him i could easily see me putting a foot in my rez one day!! it's the only reason i didn't want to go gravity for my top off, i didn't want to climb up on something to look in there all the time. i'm totally dopic and i know it!!!

your garden is lookin happy happy joy joy man!!!!

.

i've always loved the shots with your cannon!!!! she could use a coat of oil man!!!!

i gotta ask man, what is SRV?

True. I hated the shoe and belt removal BS. I only travelled for business.

That’s always the problem. Now tech is moving so fast people can’t keep up let alone government or laws. Like everything else big brother gets involved in we will bounce from one extreme to the other and hope to land in the middle eventually.

In 2006-10 warned about car fobs and new utility meters being hackable. Even proved it. But only a few people listened and no one in power.

Skip to 2016/17 and I can’t buy a car that doesn’t have keyless entry. I just made a spot in the middle of the house to keep our keys safe. We’ve seen older kids with backpack rigs go around the neighbourhood trying to boost and copy key fob signals. Takes three or four of them usually. Didn’t see any try this year, yet.

My uncle that got me into firearms was a big collector. He had a box the size of a mini fridge full of hand guns that were extra. Just in holsters or laying on each other. That was on the 70’s, can’t do that these days. He had a sweet revolver collection. Same for war firearms.

That’s cool. I know Las Vegas does that but I’ve never been. I told PC to rent a few on his trip.

My first and favorite piece of metal art is even a cannon I picked up a few years after I was discharged. Not sure if it will still fire a round though hahaha
That’s cool. On my way to my dads farm we used to pass a guy with a big gun that was like a howitzer. Towed behind Jeeps. Not sure if he had to get rid of it when things changed after 2010.

I used to have small brass cannon like that. Used firecrackers to fife wax and small ball bearings.

I did create a holster though.
Doesn't hold a gun....
Lol, cool. Literally handy. I’ll let the flip flop sandals slide, I have crocks for the yard work. 🤦

I'm gonna make a file for the Lobo too. I can make it clip onto pockets like I have or I can make it so it attaches onto a belt. Make it into a utiltiy belt and have a bunch of vapes on it like stoner batman or something.
I’ll have to see what you come up with. I’m more a flask or case type guy. Open a cigarette type case and find the vape, straw and capsules all ready to assemble. Like a travel kit. But I’m up for stealing files!🤣

I'm making these for my dog walk & vape sessions so the hot vape isn't in my pocket and also so the Pivot stays upright and doesn't leak it oil. I'm making them with TPU as well so they hold up well.
Cool. I’ve just brought joints on walks. 🤔

Y'all were talking about hydro tool holders...ez peezey on Tinkercad
I made this little wall mounted shelf spots to hold vessels I use for pH testing and calibration. It's mounted above my water tank for convenience too so I have this weird little custom water chem lab fit to my needs.
I tried using it when Stoney told me about it. It is NOT phone friendly.🤣

I would have thought the base would be handy for you. You usually have many addons and attachments.

Can’t wait to see what you come up with. 👊

i kinda had a feeling of that. after messing around with it i like the new version better. it's way easier to change the temp if you only want it to move a couple degrees. i used to struggle with that slider bar a lot trying to get it right where i want it. the new app has the slider and now a + and - button to change one degree at a time.

hahaha i get those looks and head shakes constantly!! haha most times i don't even have t try very hard!! hehehe

wow you guys get the early bye week this year!! awesome you'l have an easy weekend though!!! enjoy the extra time!!!!

i was happy to get a little bonus this week... ;hd

sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good call man a cover is a must!!! i couldn't tell you how many times i dropped something on my rez lid... pens, screws, fittings, almost dropped my ec meter in there once!!

Nice haul on the 40 burger!!!
Man you're pulling away in the pool too while everybody but me keeps slipping further back. I have gibbs this week though. 😒
Woulda loved to be a fly on the wall at JGR Monday. I bet Bell and Briscoe just hid under a car in the shop hahaha!

Yep this is the first bye week of the season for us. Everybody gets two byes now since conference realignment and playoff expansion happened a couple years ago. We need them too because now, if you're a playoff and postseason team, you're looking at a 6 month calander season beginning in August and ending mid January. Then Winter conditioning starts February. Spring football is March & April. Couple weeks off then it's Summer conditioning and back to camp in August all over again.
It's a long ass grind man but it's fun and I just locked up another pay raise so I'll keep doing this as long as they'll have me.

Man I was kinda interested in the new proxy checking it out and now I see it has an app too! Like everything needs an app now.
I'll have to check it out this weekend. I run my peak on the same heat, red, and that same light show and just try to keep it clean.
Sometimes I'll get on the app and look at all the crazy shit it can do but don't really move off those settings. Kind of an if it aint broke don't fix it or I might really break it thing I have with the peak ever since I ruined my first one.

The rez cover is a really good find man. Wish I coulda used a door panel but the only doors I have are prized wall hangers.
What I'm after there is the carbon fiber. Fucking carbon fiber rez cover is just all kinds of baddassery. Light weight. Strong AF. So yeah dude if I can find a cheap Cup car door panel, it's mine just because it's carbon fiber. I hear Xfinity or now Oh oh oh O'rileys will have carbon fiber bodies starting next season so that's another way to find a slab of CF on the cheap.
I was gonna get some of that styrofoam wall insulation stuff but when there's an option for carbon fiber, you go with carbon fiber!

Anyways, yeah I doubt after the 2021 truck race at Pocono, the last thing on Stewart Friesen's mind would be that driver side quarter panel off his truck would be used in a pot garden in 2025 but here we are!
The other little piece is from a Briscoe rookie car which makes a good access hatch. I need some BearBond to attach it to the quarter panel just to complete it. Sure I could use duct tape but c'mon.

Yeah man that thing is square in the middle of the room like Lebowski's rug or something. Only a matter of time before I lost something in there. I was mostly concerned about dropping my phone or the remotes for the tables then if I every tripped who knows what kind of damage and injury could happen. Now there's no way I can miss it and it gets my focus when moving around the room instead of being blacked out.
Equally good about not losing something in the drink is the cover blocking algae from growing which was becoming a factor when it was uncovered.

I appreciate the kind words about the grow buddy! I'm feeling my grove for sure!
There were a couple things that were issues for me with hydro in the past that I swore if I ever got back into it I would do the things I thought would fix those issues and man have they been solved!
My issues with my water matching soils is still there...seems I can only work with Happy Frog so there's that...but I feel I can do anything I want in coco and now with this table??? Shit man, this flood and drain into coco is here stay for a spell.

I'm having a ton of fun with these plants and they don't know it yet, but are about to get very very spoiled.
I've been widening the footprint using the yoyos and now it's around 5' wide X 4' deep so they're well outside the perimeter of the light.
As I move them away and tie them down, they pull back toward the light so that's how I've been wrangling the canopy for about 10-14 days now.

Little do they know, supplements are about to make it rain even more photons in the space they think has no light!!!
I have one Ionfram strapped in to the spectramax and will do the other later to get that umbrella effect I've talked about when lighting up a crop.
As everything gradually increases week by week, as soon as I see cotton balls, the 19 and 88 are joining the party!

Thanks Brother Bob because I was about to hit him with that same video!
That's the shit that legends are made of right there.
Funny thing here in real estate....These vampires around here in the real estate game use every lie they can to hustle a sale.
Since SRV and others lived here in this neighborhood, these fucks have been telling people the house they bought was where the childhood home of SRV or where was SRV and his band practiced, lived, pet a dog, did a line of coke, etc is used to sell homes and now I've come across 3 different people who believe they live in the same home SRV once lived.😆

True. I hated the shoe and belt removal BS. I only travelled for business.

Crocs????
Buddy......Nike Asuna. That's all I have to say about that!
Yeah the car fob hack is alive and well here too. The Kia Boys have taken it to the next level. I think they just need a USB cord and can hotwire/steal a kia. Lots of kia get taken for joyrides, wrecked, and dumped here. I've seen videos where they pop the headlight lens to plug into the car and in about 30 seconds, driving it away.

Yep I'd say you would need a desktop computer to work on tinkercad. I've done some stuff while bored on my ipad but to get down and dirty on a design I need my mouse, keyboard, and the bigger the screen the better.
Also need a digital caliper to measure when cadding. That's a must have for sure + it comes in handy for all sorts of other stuff needing micro-measurements.

I'm gonna order the AMS lite for my printer today so I can start 4 color printing soon.
I'm putting together a bundle of that + some filament thru bambu for the discounts. I have a $40 discount code + the AMS is on sale and the spools are marked down as well. Mostly interested in their TPU because bambu TPU is the only TPU that works with AMS. Looks like I'll get the AMS and 4 different spools for just under $330.

Discretion is my motto 'round here partaking in public. Dog walks aint a lone walk thru the woods for me. It's a city walk so I come across lots of other people. Some are moms with strollers, others with dogs who are friends with my dogs, so to be courteous but still get hi I vape that way I can pocket the device and know I'm not blowing smoke where kids and their mom will smell it.
I'm known as "The guy that works for UT football" and it gets me a lot of friendly waves and people like to chat it up with me on my walks. I also hook up people with swag and have sent a few neighbors to games. It's all diplomacy so that way if they happen to see a plant or me smoking, they'll be much less likely to go Karen on me. It's working to perfection right now so while I could walk around here with a lit joint, I keep it down low by using vapes.

My lobo lives in my backpack so that's why I don't need a tray or case for it. My backpack also has a charging hub and speaker built in so it gets charged there. No need for xtra batteries and the compartment in my bag seems to have been made for vapes even though they say it's for phones and "other" devices.

I'm starting the holster project for the lobo today because as the weather cools, dog walks get longer so I need something more than just the pivot and it's 4 dab hits.
I also picked up a bulk supply of mouthpieces in a variety of colors.
Didn't get these thru POTV though. They charge way too much for just one so after some searching, found this bulk pack of 20mm x 3" borsilicate glass tubes on amazon that fit the lobo but should also fit any other vape with a 20mm mouthpiece which is damn near all other popular dry herb vapes. They were only $10 for 12 too!

Luigi really shook things up...

I forgot all about that guy and yep that's what kicked off the whole thing.
Last thing I need is to be caught in the middle between the 2A zealots and antigun zealots.
When I got into 3D printing it was simply because I needed a base for a bong.🙃
All I wanna do is have fun and make shit like sliming out the accessories in my truck but these days everything has to get political

Right?!?!?! i would have been in the SIM all day!!!!!! hahahahaha never know though, the talk they may have had could have fueled Gibbs for this week!! i've been watching the pool and it could go either waay this week. next week will be a crap shoot, i have svg and you with the dinger i believe.. we need to grab another gear and pull away from these other peoples lives man!!!!!

the app is all that confusing man. its just a way to make it run at the exact temp you want for the exact amount of time you want it to run for. the rest is to use the lighting and a lot of fluff with metrics, history, marketing, sales, and announcement.

if you were ever interested enough i'd help ya navigate it if ya want man!!

um... i don't think nascar is real carbon fiber... its composite fiber... still badass and cool as hell though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats a great point with the algae man!!! my thoughts immediately went to evaporation. i see it happen at my temps and i'm sure it happen at your temps for sure,,, water evaporates and ppm's rise!! no bueno!!

The apps aren't confusing for me or anything, I just don't use them that much outside of setting up when the vape is new lol.
I probably could stand to fine tune the on time per dab but I guess the factory setting on that has just worked for me.

That's funny they call it 200mph tape because we called it 100mph tape in the army. I wonder if ours had more torque? 🤣 Our was green though so yeah I guess green would be 100mph slower.

I don't think I see the evaporation as much as you DWC guys see even with my temps. I think cold water tends to evaporate faster in warm weather than what warm water does in warm weather. So there is some evap yes here but with water being room temp it's not as fast as say cold or chilled water in warm weather.
That may be why you see a swing in TDS with evap while mine barely moves off the set point. Not sure though.
I lose the most water after a flood. A noticeable 3 gallon loss but the return ppm is the same as before the flood.

Not sure about fish yet but it's on the radar.

oh shit i just realized Brisky got the pole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;bris

Stage points are there to be had and that means playoff points!!! LFG!!!!!

;bbuild

Chopping my outdoor stuff this weekend and also trying out washing my buds.
After washing I'm hanging them under the tent canopy today and tonight then will move to the bud dryer, freezer, or freeze dryer tomorrow.
I have two more freaks to chop but here's the first batch hung and drip drying after the wash

IMG_2368[1].jpeg

I didn't have any lemon juice but did have lots of lime juice so I used that and 7 gallons of RO water for the wash bucket then another bucket of pure RO for final rinse.
Before washing, the water was slightly cloudy with the lime juice but after, the water was all kinds of ewwww yuck!

IMG_2371[1].jpeg

It's been a dirty ass fucking Summer! From Sahara dust to pollen to who knows WTF is floating around the air, after seeing this I'm gonna be washing all my outdoor stuff from now on and probably even start washing indoor hauls even with all the air filtration I use in there.

This will be so nuts if I do it...
over 7 days total print time
It will waste more filament than it uses.
Says it will cost $36 to make
Over 4000 filament changes during the print!!!

but if it works....4 colors, no paint, rasta VG ;rgg

While I pondered on this dangerous but irresistible past time~!🔥
;bbuild;hem

I think that song is about sex but damn if it don't make me think about growing weed and especially when pistils start popping. Especially that line;pass

Nice! Stoney will take that #5 I'm sure! I had to cad it and still not perfect but I'm pretty proud of how it came out. Took about 6 hours of 'puter time trying to get it right. That one looks like it was probably 3D scanned then turned into a file. A scanner is next on my list.;roc

I've ordered some transparents I'll try to do with zero infill and make little stands for several of my cars.
Starting the print for the AMS Lite top rail mount today as soon as my reservoir speedboat race team is done ;smoke

BTW, the AMS works with other filaments. You just have tell it to use generic and put what it is.

I can’t say if it will hot swap that way as my sons the only one to do that making things for his nephews.

I'll know more when it gets here but I'm pretty sure that yes it will take any TPU but the compatibility issues are with the spool.
If a spool doesn't fit then there are some adapters that can be printed depending on the brand or just go with Bambu and not worry about it.

Looks like most of the registration with ID and selfie was more for the digital wallet stuff than the printer. Got my card yesterday and waited to use it for my order.
If it wasn't for all the free money I wouldn't bother with the wallet but I realized it's good to use at Bambu because of incentives.
It's a Visa so it can be used anywhere. It's pretty much a preloaded debit card. But with the first load + my wife on referral to open an account added $70 in credit to my card. Once I had the grand total of my order in my cart, I loaded that amount -$70 and used it to pay. Paid about $210 for the AMS Lite then $16x4 on spools and then one $31 spool reduced from $38.
The card could also be used to buy seeds anywhere on the globe so it might be something I use for that if I wanna keep an order off my books and don't wanna do cash or crypto.

BTW IDK if you or anybody else knows...3D printing is a CO2 generator. I've seen some enclosures get up to 2000ppm but open air around the printer seems to only be around 600ppm.
It had me thinking about setting up my printer in the grow room but ambient is already at 550. They only take around 150ppm from the air at lights on leaving it well above the 300 minimum so doubt it would do much if they only want 150ppm but if my ambient was below 300ppm, a 3D printer in action could help with that lol.

I’m not aware of any spool issues just some crappy quality filament.

My son did print a half dozen spools that he’s used. I believe it was for filament that didn’t come on a spool, but I’m not sure. Basically two halves that twist lock together.

Good cardboard ones are Elegoo, Sunlu, and a couple others cheaper than Bambu’s.

I don’t think we’ve had that problem yet.

Cool. I’m not away of anything like that. He may have gone through something like that but I doubt it. He’s not as tight with his info as I am but he’s close.

I know resin printers release toxic gases and should be vented outside but I wasn’t aware the one we have now was an issue. I don’t think it could be too bad as a CO2 detector was plugged into the outlet the printer was powered from all summer while sitting on the floor. But I don’t know what level it takes to set one off.

I don’t have anything that measures it. It’s back in the tent now. I bought him a good shelving unit for his birthday to put all his stuff on.

Only issue we have I’m aware of is that the spool on the left of the multi spool holder can be pulled askew and stop feeding. Usually when near the end and lighter. I noticed the spool hole is a bit bigger than my 3 cell mag flashlight so I stuck that in and it’s weight holds it down properly. It will wiggle out after a long print but the tent wall holds it in place for now. Need to make a holder with some ABS or print something.

On the bright side we haven’t had and failures or spaghetti since only using the good brands of filament.

Interested in how you like it once you get to print a few projects. For the price I’m impressed.

It arrives today. Pretty excited but knowing UPS it won't get here until I'm gone at work. Hope to start 4 color printing by Friday ;rockb
Printing the top mount in rasta ;blks May also print a wall mount for it. Will see when it gets here and how it might fit.
