Roots taking a hit from high root zone temperatures with low oxygenation.

But surprised they still growing ok just slow in uncontrolled consistent environmental parameters.


I've been cutting some buds off for smoke

my rez temps have been slightly climbing in this heat as well.. what is the highest acceptable root zone temperature? like when should i get worried?

Off the top of my head, maybe anything above 74, 75-80.

If the plant is already established and has a healthy root zone, it's probably fine, but when conditions are sub-par and lacking oxygenation, that's just a invitation for stress/anaerobic bacteria.

I'm thinking if you're at 80F~ and you're DO is like under 6 you're roots may not be happy and aerobic bacteria may be.

I lowered my light to run it closer at less intensity, for less heat, but then it just heats the black tote up.

I want to get fully upgraded at the other place and run a proper HPA, more pressure, better nozzles, maybe put the nozzles at the bottom to cloud up to the roots, it would solve some problems like roots blocking mist, but cause others to remedy.

oh wow thats a bit higher than i expected. i've been 72-73 the past few days. i was thinking of maybe insulating my plant sites and recirc tubes. it's heating up from the grow area, my lung area is under 70.

I think @GrumpAzz runs his res at 74, with mycos, "basic"/average " bubbling"

His roots look damn fine, no issues arriving there.

So anything above 76 without myco or 02 Injection/higher DO levels, is POSSIBLY inviting problems down the line (anaerobic bacteria) from my 'HPA" experience.
 
You want to balance that cells growth and division, against "bad" cells growth and division.

Want the plant to grow as fast as that temperature (metabolism of plant?)
gradient on cellular division allows, compared to growing "negative" bacteria, in the Root Zone.

ETA till growing again: hopefully/optimistically 4 months out from getting MY OWN FUCKING PLACE.

Where my NAME and solely MINE can be on the lease.

I have/had a felony that kept me from having my name on a apartment lease, besides liquor license and finding word, but I'm within/passed that 7-10year requirement now
(Cannabis possession & alluding police)

And now I'm starting a new job again, see about going full time and go from there.

Save up and apply for another apartment.

Live out of hotels till then.

If I live out of a hotel longterm, I may even try to do a little hotel-special grow lol.

it's our search engine having issues man. it's my issue and i've been dragging my feet a little. i promise i'll get things rolling this weekend.

I can only imagine how complicated or confusing coding/programming can be.

I still can't teach my self it yet...

I figure once I start trying to program or make my own sensors, that would teach me.....till then.

i thought i had it working but its not... i tried a couple things but don't wanna mess anything up permanent so we're gonna get some help real soon and get everything updated and improved.

i know its a pita but i have been using this way to find some older threads..

Ahh, threads with your post would work.

I was having issues with short characters or words, like DMT won't work because it's too short.

And then straight up searching the title didn't work either (made me think it was deleted) (posting that incase it helps bugfixing?).

So put something like this in your url box;

i had the google code plugged in for like a month and a half.. it sucked!! haha i recently just went back to elasticscrap a few days ago but the service is hinked up and we can't restart it from our power and need to ask the service we pay, we're gathering a list and checking it twice!! hehe good things on the horizon!!
