let go from the job after 3 shifts, company policy is to not hire couples and they did not say that. so they fired both of us for being a couple/married. fuck the restaurant industry.

Why would they let both of you go? We have different rules up here but most places don’t want family working in the same department because of nepotism and favouritism. Unless a small business. Hospital is like that as well as banks and stuff. I’m surprised a restaurant is doing it.
