Most accurate means of weighing bud imo.
Couple of the older guys i know around here thats all they use.
The one guy took his from his high-school in 9th grade, hes now 71, its weighed out some weed too lol. Probably 500 pounds or more.

That's what I got too...aws brand...my buddy said it was a knockoff idk? I'd say mine has probably weighed 400-500 lbs too lol, I was getting it for years around here couple Ps a week.
Mine says aws blade on the piece that pops out and so does the tray it came with. I have the og 1000g model you cant find anymore. I bought it when i was 16 and ill be 26 in a few weeks. So almost 10 years, still going strong.

that's true but a 5 gram nickel does no good to see if higher weights are off plus most scales i have seen needs at least a 50 gram weight to calibrate
10 nickles stacked seemed to work to for me as a calibration weight a few years ago.
I have a 50, 100, and 500g weight set now but i just check with a nickel, if it reads 5.0, you should be calibrated right because it wouldnt read 5 if it wasnt calibrated lol.

you are right but nickles can be worn and be off . and on the scales i been using a nickle wieghs 5 grams but an oz is weighing at 30 grams scales can be right on smaller weight and off on heavier weight

I have never seen that with mine.
If your scale was off, how do you know you were weighing an oz?
Did you buy it? Most stores ive bought from give 30g ozs.

i really dont know the weight because the scales are OFF an oz is 28 grams not 30 grams even in troy oz its 31 grams not 30
if my scales are set to weigh an oz its says 1 oz then if u change it to grams its says 30 there off on heavy weight

Thats weird, ive really never seen such a thing, but i always leave my scale in grams, ive never tried to weigh 28g as an oz before.

i will make a video later of what my scales are doing and show yall
No need for a video, im following what you're saying now.
I thought you had weighed what you knew was an oz but it was reading 30g.
You're saying 1oz on your scale also reads 30g.

i got 2 sets of scales and for some reason both say the same thing they got new batteries but i have had these scales for 10 yrs
i was always told a quarter was 7 grams and a oz was 28 when i weigh a nickle its says 5 grams but when i start to get a half oz there off
or i been doing it wrong from 35 years
