I've had like nearly 💯 success lately on germination. Just had one peter out after it sprouted a tail but I think it was just a shit seed.

Best I can tell is what I do.

  • drop seeds in cup of distilled water for upto 18 hours looking for a tail to show, after 6 hours or so if seeds are still floating I go tap them and try to get them to sink. I remove seeds after 18 hours as I've heard you can drown them.
  • I warm some more distilled water and get a few napkins then wet them with the warm water, wringing them out so not soaked you know, then I've been wrapping them around the vertical germinators plate.
  • put seeds in the grooves of the plate then lay another couple folded up paper towels over top the seeds, now they are sandwiched between both paper towels.
  • I then put the germinator in a ziplock and breath heavily into it before eventually sucking out the air and zipping it closed.
  • since winter is well, cold...I've been leaving it in a bag next to my ps4...a dvr box or laptop that is on will put off similar heat to keep em warm enough.

The baggie and the warm part I feel are the most important.

Here is Stoneys set up.
On a heat mat with a dome for cover. With lighting.

Bandit does not use a dome but also uses a heat mat.
I never used a heat mat.
Just a dish or the supplied tray to hold water in a warm spot with lights to help draw the seedling out.

I just bought 2 heat mats, vivosun, no thermostat control. I figured out to raise it up off the Supersprouter floor so as to maintain 83-85 degrees, I can replicate what is shown, thanks brother! Thanks for the germinator, the Cannagar mold, you guys are helping a certified master fool! I mean gardener,Ha. Cheers

These probably came with my Coco Loco mix and now I have a bag and 3/4 more to mix with Canna coco,and Dyno-myco. SS

All good evening around these here parts. Did uppot 2 more plants. My new vacuum cleaner bows down like a Star Wars attack vehicle. Air visible, Auzzies baking -- toke it dr Style
