Evergreen Gardens...PNW

I know you mentioned the pH problem above and unfortunately I'm not familiar with your medium so I really wouldn't be much help on that

but when I see new growth crinkled up that could also be a sign of mites, so check and rule out that possibility

The other one could well be a chomp, or all of this could be from pH, again I can't really help with that medium
Its alright buddy, I've seen worse, I'll see what happens after the water change, my tap water is 7-8. The bag has a time stamp of 2020 so it's all, idk what if anything it dose to change the chemistry or if there is any left.
Eaither way...buffering the ph is i thing I need to get in tune with real quick.

So far I like what I see, and I will investigate for creepy carwlers...

They all look happy and healthy to me! Nice intervals on the nodes, not too compact and not leggy at all so everything looks dialed in at this stage.
Are they in flower or have you only topped and upcan so far?

No not flower yet, topped, the one BK is not topped.
Under the 550 the green labels are leggy. It just doesn't show well in the pics.

Couple of my favorites so far.. BK in a 5g hard side pot, she really seems to like the dry backs..

BG...in a 5g bag...20250518_052601.jpg
Trying to pay attention to the difference between strains as I go forward in regards to food and water. I could easily just do a blanket coverage, and probably will with the 550 side. I'm gonna find out how much of a PITA this is to deal with.

Never used it before, but always wanted to and this is a good time to.
Anyway...oh yeah....my new garden shoes
Hey Dude::::;gr20250518_055055.jpg
EZzz off/on.....comfy they never leave the garden!!!
Still have 3 BK plants to deal with!
20250516_180756.jpg
I put 3 in 2g hard side pots and threw-em in flower.
And here's MY TRUCK
20250518_100251.jpg
Pretty much the last one I'll own. Unless there's a new diesel i think I need.
I want to change out the head lights to the amber color, they look pretty cool, however they cost...big...

Alright then...GROWERS LOVE 🌱

Perfect post to chase the Monday blahs away. Man, all of your plants look about as happy and healthy as they can be.

Is the Liquid Karma and Pure Blend Tea from Botanicare really intended for use through all grow cycles? Do you aerate it like a compost tea or use it straight from the jug?

Sweet looking truck. It looks tough. There's been times that I would have loved to have had a winch.

Thanks man, but your a bastard.....;toke
Cuzz of you and yours holes...it made me get up and go dig a hole/remove top layer in my GH....Thanks again for that....

The LK can be used all the way threw, seedlings i believe it's a lighter amount used as it is with anything.
The Tea, I've never used before. I'd planned to use it as a base feed for those fkg autos.
It worked out great in this case...my grow media's ph is low, my water is almost 8, the tea knocks it down to 6~7.1. The top of my bigger pots on the aci bases need a top drench between the bases need more O2, so I LUCKED my way on that one
Ah,,,I'm just using it from the jug, a good shake up and off ya go..
So far pretty clean to work with. No bits of stuff and other 'bsbutton floatin so far.
I gave that LK&Tea to them and came back the next morning and they enjoyed it very much.
If it wasn't for those aci bases I wouldn't even try this...this many plants i mean.
Still expecting some culls.

MAN...I really like this truck!
I tried a smaller rig after my diesel, 3/4 ton.
Half tons are just not for me, i tried hard to be "ok" with it, I bought a Chevy silverado trailboss, and it felt like a girls truck.....

Thing wasn't tall enough to miss almost anything really. I was just driving a road, and a tree limb that I couldn't see fkd it up. I hadn't even a month. Oh well, no need to worry about it know
Winch FTW...handy dandy randy......
Not bragging, and I hope I don't come off that way. I just really like my truck.

Sorry long post.

Ha! You cracked me up with that comment, but I'll bet you turn the work in the greenhouse into something super cool.

Thanks. I haven't seen anyone else talking about using those. Sounds like the plants like it and getting firsthand feedback is great.

You don't come off as bragging. It's a sweet ride. We don't always end up with a truck we like. We used to do a lot of camping and a 3/4 ton would have been nice. I've only owned one 3/4 ton and it was two-wheel drive. Everything else has been 1/2 ton and 4X4. Our camper is just sitting out there rotting now and the 1/2 ton is more than I need, most of the time.
Sorry long post.

Awh,,,the GH is a late thought. After these free Autos with seed prech. I'm really trying to be ready by July or something were they don't get super big

Botanicare was always soild for there line. And if the wheel aren't broke........
Very clean nutrient line.
After what they told mewith that combo, those 2 jugs will always be here!

Well sometimes I wonder, sometimes I wonder if I come off as to much of a show out, not very much interest, it seems in the PNW.
Anyway whatever. Ill just do my thing I guess...thanks man .
How much more deeper are you going on your beds?

I'll be following whatever you share with us. I like the idea of having a greenhouse or high tunnel. Recently my wife pointed to a high tunnel we drove by and said "That's what you need." Might not be a hard sell 🤞.

Not much interest in growing? I thought the PNW was cannabis-growing mecca.

I just went 16" - 18" deep. The ground isn't level, so some sides are deeper than others. In my head, it would have been nice to sort of dig out a bowl shape from where I'm at now, but my soil has a lot of rocks. It just makes for hard digging. Some parts were literally pick and bar to get stuff loose enough to shovel. I thought about renting a mini-excavator, but fiddle-farted around too long and just had to get going.

I lined the holes with hardware cloth that i covered with landscape fabric. That is above ground 6" - 8". So, I could use that to fill above ground level. I didn't buy enough amendments for that, this year. It's taking like 36 - 38 cubic feet of soil to fill them to level with the ground and I'm sure that is going to settle. Honestly, I just hope to get the soil mixed and in the last hole this evening so I can beat the rain coming tomorrow. I can always make adjustments and improve for next year.

GH/HTs are pretty cool in my book, very little digging, winter might be a thing, just with the tunnel itself in you part of the woods...idk.
GH I have was here when I bought the place a couple years ago.
The property was overgrown with some big red cedar trees, so I opened the place up a little and ZBAM!!!
Sunlight first thing in the morning and last light of the day;rollhit that GH !!!!!!¡!!!!!!!! Hunting season October November probably get a auto side deal done before then...that'd be cool

I dumped in the last couple bags of that cheap soil i bought, and it's ok, it's not what we want for what we do if we had a choice. Anyway I'll need more of something....hahahaha she's gonna love that...🙃.....................

Something about lack of interest must have flew over my head. It's not unusual for me to misunderstand stuff.

One of my OR buddies sold some red cedar off of his property, last year. I think they lost a bunch of trees due to a heavy ice storm and that spurred him to sell off some trees that could have done damage had they been the ones to fall. Those things get a lot bigger than the cedar we have around here. A lot of our cedar is used as fence posts. Same for locust.
