Understood, a doctor ran this program on me long ago, probably when it first came out, despite me telling her I wasn't interested. I changed doctors immediately afterwards.

We have a small house with small bedrooms. The struggle is real around the Holidays. Both of our kids claim they don't want kids of their own. We'll see if that sticks. I'd love some grandkids, but we don't get everything we want, lol. I really need to add onto the house. I would have already, but the drain field is on the side where an addition makes the most sense. Other options would be a PIA and more expensive.

what and when is a gray cup game?

i still set one up each year, past few years have been fake. for the longest time i would buy a small live tree balled up and then plant it outside each year. i have a small row of trees i sometimes get in photos.. those are all my old xmas trees. but due to the greedy fucker down the hill and all the PITA it is having the hole pre dug because by xmas the ground is frozen and it's freakin heavy! but mainly it's mostly cuz of the greedy douche selling them just down the road a mile. when i started buying them they cost like $35 for a small balled tree.. great! i've known him for years and glad to pay, then $45, then $65, then $85... been four of five years now since i even went down to look at a price. and that was all before covid inflation!!

so now i have a fakey.. spins around and everything!!!! shitty part of that is you gotta decorate the entire tree nice, no slacking on the backside when it rotates!!!!

i want to know this though... how does a fake tree shed more needles on the floor than the real live trees did? wtf???

Ya, we switched to fake years ago too. Price over $50 for decades. Plus they didn’t last as long as they used too. Needles everywhere.

Cat was one of our culprits. Kids the other. But our tree is about 20 years old now.

We almost butchered a deer on the way home tonight, fker jumped out 1 car in front of us, not that close but I'm still a bit jumpy after whacking the last one. Tick packing MF are everywhere.

saw this almost happen to a hooker trying to cross a busy highway today when i was going to the DMV!! the car almost got her.. it was close!!! she should have had better footwear!! 😆

We have a Canadian football League?...oh ya I remember now 12 players, 3 downs. no free catch, single point on a missed field goal, 20 yard end zone & full of cut or retired NFL players....I know I know a bad Canadian attitude not to love our B league sport. I used to but I also like pro wrestling when I was young.
 
Weird things going on in the Ozarks today. This morning in the course of three hours I heard more air traffic over my home than I have heard in twenty years. We are not in a flight path. Turns out that a F-15 from Qatar was circling over the Ozarks National Riverways, wasn’t long before military aircraft was as well. WTH? IMG_2652.pngIMG_2653.png

Well that would also make sense why it would say Qatar too in ATC and why it would have no call letters.
The area I live in is somewhat flight restricted as it a migrational path for birds. Basically the only thing we see is air evac copters and planes at night so far away you can barely see them. Catches one’s attention to have going on what was going on this morning, more so when they added military aircraft as well.

I could go for some quieter skies. Apparently our valley is good for practicing bomb runs. We’ve regularly had low -flying fighter jets here since I was a kid. During the late days of the Cold War in the 70s and 80s, I can remember sitting in the woods hunting and imagining the jets were actually nukes. I also used to imagine every sound I heard when I was walking out of the woods after dark was Bigfoot or some character from whatever Steven King novel I was reading at the time 🤪 Pretty active imagination back then.

One of the things that is needed the very most when I’m trying to teach a shooter to read the wind. Not like you can actually see it. You have to imagine or visualize it. Be proud, not everyone has that ability!

I was banned from participating in the grey cup pool years ago. I’d find out who’s playing and pick the most likely score. After winning three years in a row without watching the game it was decided if I didn’t watch it I couldn’t bet on it. 🤣

Baseball and hockey were the sports I usually watched. These days playoffs and Olympic Games are about it. I lost my interest in 1995 when the baseball strike started. 😒
