Snatched a mouse right out from under the snow!Looks like he got something in second picture.

Thanks for sharing that, they even have the LA Affie by Swerve, which is some of the best cannabis I've ever grown, ran it for years starting back in 2015 when I started growing again, and it's cheaper than ordering off the CC website tooI have had very fast delivery from North Atlantic Seed Company.
They are in Maine.
They are having a sale now also.

I am not from Maine but have gone for most of my life [ now 60 years ].Are you from Maine by chance? If you are you got half a foot of snow in your driveway, better get at it!
The reason I ask is I have always heard about the legendary Christmas Tree Bud from Maine, I know a couple of outdoor growers here, but I haven't asked them about it yet, would love to find some!
Ongonquit and Flos Hot Dogs, riding the trolleys, great. Saw George Bush (and his double) go out in a fishing boat. Fished in the Sacco River and camped at Bar Harbor. LL Bean HQ 24x7 forever. When I lived in NH we would bomb up to Maine for steamers summer burns. That's awesome~!
I have used NASC for Ethos seeds I can't get in Mass. at the grow stores. I get 2-3 day delivery everytime.
Wife and I like to go for rides in the good weather and Mass. was legal before NY so just where I have gone.
When I found NASC and saw they were in Maine it seemed like a no brainer to me.
Even with NY being legal I don't buy any of my seeds from here.

My father, brother and sister have all lived in Maine.
Last couple years we just go up to Wells to visit my brother inlaw at the beach house he and my sister had.
Kind of a family get together for brother and I and memorial for sister all in one.
Kind of sucks going up in October though.
I love summer on the beach. I love the sun and probably why I work outside.
Living in upstate NY is rough enough, I don't think I would enjoy Maine the same if I had to winter it~!
I am in Saratoga NY where Horses, Health, and History are the mantra.
My heart belongs to Maine though.
We had snow and sleet most of yesterday, a little today and expecting 4-8 inches tomorrow.
I will likely get the tractor going to make sure end of driveway is clear but we are having 40-50mph gust now at 30ish so not in any real hurry.
Bad weather is the only time I take off, so I am really good at staying inside.

I know you mentioned you spent your summers on Wells beach but it never dawned on me to ask you if you were still hereThat's awesome~!

The hotdogs are red here, I still don't understand that?Ongonquit and Flos Hot Dogs, riding the trolleys, great. Saw George Bush (and his double) go out in a fishing boat. I have not but would defer to @GoodShit97 or @Cool_Beans for things Maine also.Have you heard of the Maine Christmas Tree bud? I've only seen pictures and breeders who have claimed to have it posting on cannabis boards, but I don't think it's a unicorn
I'm going to keep my eye open I'd love to run into some, it's supposed to taste like pine![]()
That's it, is it extinct like real skunk#1?The only Christmas bud I've heard of is '79 Xmas bud, not saying there isn't a Maine Christmas Tree bud.
Pretty sure xmas bud got its name for its heavy pine aroma and structure.
I wouldn't say it's gone, but I also wouldn't be surprised if you found what you were looking for with a strain called Blue Icing or some shit. That's it, is it extinct like real skunk#1?
I think it was originally from Maine?I wouldn't say it's gone, but I also wouldn't be surprised if you found what you were looking for with a strain called Blue Icing or some shit.
Nothing is what it is anymore. Names are just that, names. They mean nothing anymore imo.
There are a lot of growers in Maine!I think it was originally from Maine?I've met a few outdoor growers here, seems everybody grows outdoors here, I did last summer myself
I'll ask around maybe some old timer here I will know what I'm looking for, thanks for the input

Yeah they get pretty loud, up here you can hear them form different hill sides. One Onyx crush is up so now we have the legal three, so it's a run! It's on like popcorn (big difference from the legal 12 plant-count we had back in Massachusetts)
Speaking of Onyx Crush this is a picture of one that's finishing up now
The owlwas there when I opened the curtains this morning, I've seen it every day except yesterday, flew off before I could get a picture
Both times that I've seen it fly off he's flown to 'Owlville' which is somewhere on the other side of the garage not too far into the woods
Quick story: Back in December of 21 hadn't even been here a month and was still learning to heat with wood, the fire had burned out while I was sleeping so around 3:00 in the morning I was out on the deck with the hatchet chopping some kindling, at the first strike of the axeI heard this loud, ungodly scream, sounded like it was coming from everywhere and for a few seconds I had no idea what it was
but then the scream ended in the ever familia 'Who Who'
so I knew it was an owl, and that seems to be where they live

It was sooo loud, dead still in the middle of the night and that thing just let go with a sound I've never heard before, I didn't know if something was going to be rushing at me or what LOLYeah they get pretty loud, up here you can hear them form different hill sides.
I'll try can record some when I remember.
That bud is nice...!

About the same here today, they're saying 1° tonight so it'll probably be three or four degrees below but we're getting there, it's staying light longer now and I'm starting to think about the vegetable gardens so we're getting thereWe made it to a sunny 24f today~!
I love the sun~!![]()

Watch those green point seeds at 2 -3 weeks into flower for tell tale little flowers. He's been putting out some iffy seeds I had 2 of his grow balls this last grow. It made this harvest go from 6-4 plants, just saying we've been having some bad luck with his seeds.Update: (good news for a change)
One of the two Red Beard Platinum OG Kush that cracked but didn't put out a tail is coming up thru the promix
So I have two of those, and two of the Green Point Onyx Crush have already cracked and are putting out nice white tails!
So I have four plants right now, so that's a run!![]()
Yeah I've been reading that GPS thread, too bad because when I quit growing a few years ago he was putting out some fire with that cowboy series, that's a shameWatch those green point seeds at 2 -3 weeks into flower for tell tale little flowers.
