Bandit on a Space Safari and I'm Hunting Unicorns

i saw Betty White is getting her own forever stamp soon. :D

She was always a funny nice easy going person/character. Good for her. 😇

National Treasure.
She made Lake Placid worth watching. Her line "If I had a dick this is where I'd tell you to suck it" is pure gold(en girl) 😋

did those seeds arrive yet? I just messaged my friend and he is sending me more so if something happened and it got lost in the mail I can send you more

I think they'll be here today. I saw an image on my USPS informed delivery email that looked like it. I'll see when I get home for lunch and make sure.
Many thanks Buddy!

Got 'em right here in my fat sticky fingers (y)

Betty white was no sweetie in The Mary Tyler Moore show as Sue Ann Nivens.
Some great one liners and humor from way back.

Well who doesn't love a nympho living next door? 😋

I've lost count how many times I've seen that movie. Used to own it on DVD but now I just wait for it to pop up on a stream.

Man that's crazy! Small world indeed! SSG is the only member close to me. Seems like everybody is in the upper east coast or the Great White North.

Dude, the new soundbar is crazy baddass.
I wasn't expecting this.
It's actually good as-is but I'm gonna take it over the top with the wireless sub and wireless rear speakers set offered up in the coupon deal.
This all went way more hi-end than I was expecting but it sounds incredible plus we've already linked our phones to it so now the whole music library can be played thru it too.
It just does shit I wasn't expecting like scanning the room to adjust sound quality and limits, connects to youtube and apple play, can be voice controlled thru Alexa and more. The sound is theater quality for sure

That might be a good watch tonight, I've seen it once years ago and thought it pretty good for what it was.

The cow scene is legendary but yeah Betty White is so dang funny in it.
I wouldn't consider it a horror movie but more comedy horror like Tremors. Good acting, good plot, and a really good cast of established actors.
The sequels are terrible but that first one has held it's own for a long time, like 25 years already since it was made.

now you got me searching for that Blue Bell ice cream I never had it before. My current favorite is the Tillamook Malted Moo Shake

You'll have to travel a bit for some Blue Bell. Seems to be mostly sold in The South these days

There's lots of good ice creams out there but what sets BB apart is freshness and old school recipes.
Started back in 1907 and has grown slowly.
Distribution is very limited because they use dairy to store logistics. So the ice cream is only handled by Blue Bell employees. It's never stored in a warehouse freezer or shipped/handled by 3rd party shippers or even store employees so it's probably about as close you can get to farmers market style ice cream in the USA.
If you can find it, Blue Bell Cherry Vanilla will change your life 😋

sucks for us for sure!!! this was a few years ago, it was there for like a month and then gone! it was hush hush up here but Bandit may know the true story. something bad happened at the factory or something and i believe the ice cream was contaminated and they couldn't meet their suppliers needs for a short while. meanwhile in terrible timing there was a store near you, i can't remember if it was a russel stover shop or who's it even is now days.

i'm terrible with road names but if you get off the highway and drive down main st and past the movie theatre a few blocks you turn right and weasel back to another main road and turn right again you can get back on the highway from the back side of the Burg.. well it was in that strip mall/gas station area back there, you know where i mean?

it was always a candy store but they never had ice cream. so they struck a deal with blue bell and installed all the ice cream equipment and freezers and revamped the entire building. then a month later Blue Bell had their issue and the store was stuck with all this brand new equipment and no ice cream to serve. they put a lot of money into advertising and stuff to bring people in and nothing to provide so they were forced to switch brands and everybody lost in that situation.

it is and will always remain my favorite brand of ice cream.

was probably that store in the shopping center near the Mcdonalds.
Funny story I got an ex girlfriend a box of chocolates from that store a few year ago.
Well I screwed up and accidently got the sugar free chocolates and she shit her pants at work because they had that sugar alcohol stuff in them :ROFLMAO:

Yep it was a listeria breakout and they damn near had to take the factory apart to clean it out.

That reminds me of this SNL skit.
There's a mega gas station franchise here called Buccees and they have a huge selection of sugar free chocolate and yep every one of them is pretty much a laxative

Last year I was on a sugar detox and a low carb diet and I was eating these atkins bars and they had that stuff in them. I went golfing with a few friends and the bubbleguts hit me hard and I just hopped in the cart and drove off as fast as I could towards the club house

My wife makes the best ice cream I've ever had from a simple recipe, she does it pretty fast too its done soon as it freezes up with fresh ingredients its spectacular. We used to sell ice cream in our store but hers is far better than any of the brands we sold. its just so rich and creamy with fresh strawberries just wow. not suitable for diets of any kind...lol

I'll keep my Stewart's Ice Cream.
Started in 1931 and is really only in NY, they say they're in NJ, PA, OH, and WV but I've only seen them in NY and VT lol

I'm biased against Blue Bell. Twice I've bought their ice cream only to get home and find out about a recall due to lysteria. What are the odds that I could time it like that twice? I do like their ice cream, though.

That map might not be complete. They do have it on the West Coast. There's a parlor on the river walk in Vancouver, WA that sells it. Seemed weird to me because Tillamook is so close and, in my opinion, the better ice cream. Tilamook's Marion Berry was my favorite for a while. I can't find it anymore. Might be a good thing. I eat too much ice cream and it shows.

Damn! Makes me want to try something I can't have, lol. We have Homestead Creamery here. It's range is expanding a bit more than your Stewart's. I recommend it, if you ever come across any.

I make a really good strawberry basil ice cream with only 5 ingredients and keep the sugar out. I have to use a little vodka in the recipe to work as a flavorless antifreeze so it don't turn to a solid brick.
It's really good though and tastes super clean compared to grocery store ice cream loaded up with sugars and other stuff

That looks like an expensive road trip and a lot of calories. You could do what 10- 15 places a day?? ??? lol

Its tastes exactly like a malted milkshake not sure what makes it taste like that I believe it’s barley or wheat or something

Grass fed cows maybe?
I know we have Tillamook cheese here because I've seen it at Costco. I'll check the freezer aisle at HEB and see if they carry the ice cream. My sight line is usually scanning the cartons like a Terminator until I land on Blue Bell cherry vanilla. Everything I see before that is useless data. 😋

🔥

In other news....NASCAR will race the National Course which was the 2013 V8 Super Car course at COTA in 2025. No more long straight away and no more 30 minute caution laps:ROFLMAO:

reminds me of Munchos back in the day, they used to have a warning label on the back "May cause anal leakage." just real subtle like... it was crazy. but they were still good af when you had the munchies! they are made from dehydrated potato flakes just like Pringles...

all i can find on the net is the modern warning on the back of them now:
