Man I wish there was a safe way to enclose a roof~!
Worked in white out yesterday and bitter cold and wind today.
As fate and faith would have it both days were only 4 hours long despite the best planning of the chiefs~!
;hd

Just thinking about those conditions and trying to use my hands makes me ache. Cold is rapidly becoming the enemy for me.

I used to sit around in shorts and a tank top in the cold early mornings in the Sierra. Didn’t notice. Now, I’d be looking for the closest fire or heater And thick freaking gloves.

To make it all seem worse I never enjoyed outdoor winter activities~!
Besides smoking and drinking outside~!
My hands hurt more last year than ever before.
25+ years working on roofs is taking its toll.

Got one of those Dewalt battery powered jackets now.
Like wearing a heating pad on your back and chest~!

I was shopping for some battery heated gloves a while ago, seems like they were reasonably priced, but not insignificant. I’m thinking in the 100 clams range. I don’t know how dexterous one might be wearing them, nor how well they last with all the movement.

Lots of battery powered gloves out there.
Many cheap on Temu? Who knows how good?
Dewalt does not make them, but Milwaukee does.
The Milwaukee's are $179 at HD so that is no go for me.
I buy and wear the $5-10 gloves and change them out when wet.
Gloves could last less than 1 week for me so no big investment going to happen here.
The temu seemed reasonable but again like Tom said dexterity and longevity are all considerations.
Most of the actual time working one glove is off anyways.
The jacket is really great. My wife found mine at thrift shop for $30~!
Brand new never worn but 11 years old~! Works like a dream~!

I was wondering what they were powered to do but context clues satisfied my interests, ordered a couple pair
