Evergreen Gardens...PNW

All taped up and ready! I haven't ran the d-huey for a few daze, RH has been reasonable with the lights on, and then shoots up to the 60s low 60s the lights out, fine right now. I'd like to be in the 45s.....see how it goes...

Day 42........;toke......;hd...... Everything is full tilt..............
20251121_221118.jpg
I'm pretty pumped about this one.... I'm able to run three feeds off of one res... I'm just been adding new solution to the res each time (3gl).
I've been setting it to the recommendations being that I do not know this nutrient line I figured it's best just to follow at some guideline until I can get a wrap around this. So I've been doing about 20 gallons fresh solution PPM is around 1100 at change, they eat then it comes back low numbers so I add new solution to bring it back up to at least 800-1000, it only gains a little.. maybe 200-300 and it stables out so for now that's what I've been doing....

When I get out of this fox farm media it'll all change again.....

All this side has gotten is Neptune's harvest Rose & flowering.... And some plant enzymes that came with Humboldt secrets nutrients figure it wouldn't hurt other than that that is it... However at 6 weeks I would think I'd have a little bit more weight in the flower department
Have not top watered at all! Just mist the top inches every by-weekly

Had to stop myself from quoting every image. Shit was getting ridiculous. I'd be so thrilled to have a single plant in my tent looking as nice as any of these. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the construction and the mouse hunt.

Thanks Bob.....👊

Not bad for being rusty, this is only the second run off the couch in about 10 years, and I'm doing a bunch of stuff that I didn't think I could do before.
I'm trying to wrangle this environment has been a chore, especially this grow, this grow has been very "Hands-On" .
And it hasn't been cheap either!
The price on these nutrients is 'bsbutton

The waste on this is unbelievable..... To get the ratios in the volumes and the ppms and the fucking the way the wind's blowing all to work...hell idk.... I'm just reading the label to get through it and figure it out.

I've narrowed it down to two or three main players in this nutrient line, in other words I realized what I'm going through the fastest what I need to replace and what I don't need to replace if I am to stay with this nutrient line.

It's all going to change when I jump out of this media and into a inherit media, so I'm hoping I don't go through as much nutrients without actually having to use them and only having to use them for a volume effect.

Seems to me like I have to keep the volume in the res up in order to keep the numbers and check at least with this run is what I'm seeing with my short hydroponic experience....

Hydroponics doubled all my shit!!!!!!
20251123_195419.jpg

Not pictured is a second reservoir that I'm going to use for alternating waterings........ Little late but that's all right I can finish it out that way... I don't like giving them that strong thick nute mix every time

More in-House genetics coming to my house.......

I know it's expensive it's all right it's only money can't take it with it

;pirate

i bet those tools were freakin expensive too man... i know how that can get!!!!!

pretty awesome playground you have going on there man!!!!!!!! can't wait to see how it all comes together!!!
Man those tools.....it was a toss up between air or battery. I've got a couple other renovation projects after this one so either way it's an investment I was going to need tools regardless.
I just got a little 5 gallon pancake compressor. So that was going to have to be upgraded new airline, it's pretty old.

Some of those deals were unreal if you're in the market for tools and there still is some good deals...

I think all that DeWalt stuff that whole kit was was just under 300 bucks I think for a drill driver a impact and multi-tool 3 batteries and a charger Plus the leaf blower was free with that purchase i can't remember if it was 299 or 399.

Same thing with the Milwaukee stuff.... Not quite as good a deal as I think the dewalts have but nonetheless.
I needed the framing nailer.... I need batteries to go with it... Biy a set of batteries you got a free jigsaw or your choice of multiple choice tools...

The Palm nailer will come in handy all over the house. And of course it takes its own kind of battery so there's the charger and a battery in a free battery or some shit.....

1500 for all that, I'm not happy about it and now I got to build a fucking deck.. it'll be fun never done anything this big before solo... Well the Solo YouTube........ hehehe...

Well, you may be figuring and tuning things, but your plants sure seem to like what you're doing. Hope everything clicks and it ends up being easy to dial in and cut out the nutrient waste when you move to whichever inert media you decide to go with.

You said you already have future needs for the new tools. I'll bet the known work and all of the unforeseen uses that are sure to come will more than justify the investment in short order. Especially at the sale prices you shared. Good stuff.

Have you ever tried anything from Dirty Bird Genetics? I noticed the freebie. The order looks like it'll be a surprise pack that you won't know the strain until the package gets delivered. I've eyeballed some of their stuff in the past. Pretty sure they're in Maine or somewhere in the NorthEast. I read somewhere that they have some genetics that handle humidity well and are pretty resistant to PM. A grow shop about an hour from me had a few packs of their seeds, but not what I was shopping for at the time. Guy working the shop told me their plants do well in outdoor grows in our area. I need to look into them a little more or find someone who has experience with them.

Thanks Buddy.... some of the waste is part of it starting out I suppose to some extent, I've developed a little routine here where it really hasn't bite me in the ass...6-7 daze - 2-3 floods...if I keep the level up to 20 gallons with fresh water/nutes and get 2 floods in 6 daze I can be okay with that..... Don't want to let it get too low I don't want to dry out my pumps

Two bathrooms, one deck if you count this, all projects coming up...oh and a grow room to expand....

Nope, I've heard of them. Never saw anything I can remember so there's that . ..

Are you talking about in-house or dirty bird for the mold resistance....Yeah I think North Atlantic is in Maine I believe don't quote me on that...

I got tired all this remake and redo of strange permanent marker tinsel toe cap dance purple f****** I don't know....

So I went looking for some Pacific Northwest dank strains and and In house genetics came up, some of their strains I don't even recognize so that's good and if they keep performing like this Pacific Northwest cherries I don't have a problem with it....

Happy dead bird day.........

Building stuff can be hard work, but I enjoy the projects when I'm not under the gun. It's nice knowing where you started, seeing what you've done, and being able to look back and see that you've accomplished something. With some of my jobs, It's been hard to see where I've done done anything. Shit looks the same day-after-day. Rinse and repeat.

I was talking about Dirty Bird Genetics. I just looked them up to make sure I wasn't confusing them with someone else. They are in Maine, but I didn't know the same person owns North Atlantic and Dirty Bird.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Other side..... I pulled the wick out of two bases, one of the super booth and one of the diesels had a slow go of it and almost stopped drinking completely. Need to look into whatever it is after harvesting.

That back yellow one was having the trouble and the other yellowish is the diesel... I'll just take over by hand
They both are getting Fox farm boomerang, it's probably not much more different than the compost tea that I have Anyway there both on it now
I've seen a reaction after giving the flower finisher with the other two.....

Gonna be one helluva sexy haul there dude!!!
When you chopping them down? I'd say your window to harvest is wide open from where I'm sitting.

Yeah ...fuck those rats man! Can't stand rodents. My cat caught one and brought it inside a couple weeks ago. All proud and shit trying to gift it to us after she killed it. Good kitty but terrible gift giver.
We had such a battle with a nest in our walls year ago so now there's a strobe light up in the attic space to make sure they don't come back and those sonic plug in things are everywhere there's an outdoor plug. Seems to work keeping them out of the house but I'll see them in trees and on power lines at night.
Few summers ago, saw an owl snatch one off the power lines. That was awesome to witness!

Thanks man... Been very Hands-On with the nutrients, temperatures, rats....

I'll probably let most of it go to trem....this stuff is looking real good and will only get better....

The light schedule throws me off I keep forgetting that I'm a little bit ahead other than what the calendar says.
So that being said, the strawberry cookies the window is definitely open on that, and it keeps drinking and eating and when it's done with that I'll cut it probably next week, it's slowing down...

The nutrients have been interesting and frustrating at the same time . The confusion just comes with the new nutrient line, frustration is is throwing out the nutrients, I've figured out kind of a medium ground, in regards to the volume of nutrients that I use to get the ratios, I don't think it's a good idea that this nutrient line be condensed in a smaller amount of water until my new pump gets here.... I just figured that's part of it, learning it.

I don't know if this golden tree is going to be usable in hydroponic in this application or not, it's pretty heavy and settles if not circulated.... That much I found out.

I ordered a second pump for the res for recirculation....gonna have a more active res, I have a small recirculation pump in there now....

I haven't checked a lot of it yet for ripeness, figure couple weeks.

Some changes coming, I'm not going to jump right back into another grow right away.... I've got a little bit more construction to do

;gltleaf
