This is not a permanent solution because it would end up being costly over time .... You can buy distilled water for a week or so. Here's what's going to happen a few weeks after your plants are put into flower. Calcium needs will go through the roof. Things should begin to balance out.

I would continue with the epsom salts mixed in with your feed and then do what you can to keep from adding more calcium to the soil (filtered or distilled water).
Distilled water is expensive, are u saying run distilled water through whole of flowering.

I'm ordering these tomorrow. These will help tho right i can't be buying water expensive here for distilled or filtered water

When adding the 1gram of Epson salts to my tapwater my (starting point is 350ppm) but then if I was to use the 5grams my (starting point then is 515ppm) definitely worth a try with these filters right?

Also now ive flipped my light schedule to 12/12 would you take ppfd reading from veg(350-400ppfd) into dli calculator says i should be giving at least 550-600ppfd during flowering 12/12 should I turn my lights up that high straight away or just hold out till i pass preflowering? Thanks

I would turn the lights up over time if you are going to turn them up.
A little every other day or so.
My room is at 500-600ppm in flower with the lights aprox.24 inches above tops.

The plants needs may increase when you increase light.

I go a little at a time also.....I work it up slowly through veg too. As long as the plants are happy I keep going.

Distilled water runs about $1.30 per gallon here in my area. It would become expensive buying water for more than one or 2 feedings. The water filters or a table top distillation machine would be a better purchase. It would cost less in long run. The filters will reduce a lot of your suspended solids and should get you to 100 ppm or under.

The filter ls I'm going to order were the ones mentioned right these should help work better anyways even just if I can lower will help right

Yes, there's no particular brand that I would recommend over another either ... these are carbon filters designed to improve water quality by reducing minerals and sediment in your water supply. I use them outdoors on my vegetable garden and my greenhouse auto-flower runs during the summer. They will certainly improve your water quality.

Hi all I'm planing on feeding my plant their first bloom feed, as I have all the calcium in water, should I still carry on with (5G EPSOM SALTS) per gallon OR should i DROP THIS BACK DOWN TO 1G per gallon? Cheers

IMO 1

It's hard to overdose the mag? Would this be ok for 1st feed as ive made up a fed for tomorrow but with 5g instead of the the 1g

With my water having very high calcium and the magnesium deficiency issue would having this 5g per gallon to carry on trying to even out ratios then? Then lower mag and introduce cal mag later in the bloom stage

If i were you i would ideally cut your water with RO by half an RO unit is like $70 and will give you 0 ppm water up to about 40ppm by the time it needs a filter change. And then 1 gram per gal.

5 g per gal is too much imo you can ise 1-2g per gal

Yeah thats where I'm gonna struggle as can't put all the ro system into where I live I'm gonna try the rv inline water filter to at least lower the ppms a lil more.

Why can’t you put it in? It just connects to your sink faucet

My pipework is nothing like everyone's here it's a bit of a mess think they had a newbie connecting this
Hmmm almost all faucets have that. You don’t connect it to the pipes.

I've got a hot water outlet is this any good

The other thing about RO water that doesn't get mentioned a lot is these RO units waste up to 1/2 the water as a byproduct of the reverse osmosis process. So to make 50 gallons of RO water, it takes 75 gallons, For those on a metered water supply, the extra water usage would show up on your water bill.

Its usually anywhere from 5:2 to 2:1. But you really don’t need to make a lot of it
