Hey man. I know you just purchased that bottle but for the future you can save a lot by using either Grow More PH down and Up or Nutrifield PH up and down. I think I looked up the Gh down and it is like 10 percent active PH down. Grow More is 30 percent and easy to work with. The Nutrifield stuff I have only used the PH down and it is 70 percent active. I have to dilute it to use the stuff but it works and it the best value.

How much do you need to dilute on each? Can they be premixed to a weaker solution and be kept for a while or will that destablilze them?

100% or the cheapest way i found is 85% food grade phosphoric acid. I get it locally for like $6-8 for i think 750ml

The Grow More is just fine out of the bottle. You just have to get use to only using 1/3 of typically. The Nutrifield stuff I dilute to like 1/3 part PH down and 2/3 Ro water. Stays stable and does not change the molecule structure. It cannot change it.

Thanks! I'm looking into moving away from prepackaged stuff and making my own.

Absolutely… depends on the nutrients but phosphoric in veg and sulphuric in flower makes absolute sense to me. Both are good option for the entire grow even

Sulphuric will be a tiny bit less effective but i doubt you will even notice that they are ao close

Yes. I learned that the hard way. When I first started working in cannabis at an illegal facility a few of the guys thought it would be funny for me to do the formulations. I had told them I didn't know what I was doing but they said just follow the recipe. I got a list of stuff to mix but no mix process instructions.
