Hey, I've been using Google Ai again and its not looking so good adding organic and synthetics together making problematic interactions and gunk from silt in the soil...I don't know why so far I've been good but Ai is funny some searches depending on how I word and where the cdomma's are I get different results. But it makes sense the way it’s written, but it’s AI so I don’t know, but it makes me lean towards not adding that stuff or only adding a smaller much smaller amount if any.
After reading that I’m thinking of going straight General hydroponics.

Ya, it says to give as much details as you can for best results. I saw that before I mentioned transplanting it was a no go but then I had to add what media I'm in...and it what percentages I use. It helped me with Yucca Percentage I said 1 tbs/gal it says 1/8th tsp so that helps. It was talking about transplant shock but it assumed a coco mix in the Autopots. Yes sir the wording really matters and details get better results.

I was surprised by the info that I haven't had any issues with toxicity but I'll keep it in mind not to over do it and I won't add any of that organic stuff to my plants at transplant.

I soaked em for bout 20 hrs, got them to sink after a few but for Snow Daze Haze took a lil longer but finally sank.
After that I don't bother with paper towels I stick em in moist dirt (SSM #4) in a solo that was sitting in a 78 degree room.
MarsHydro TS1000 light set 18/6 with the cups off center to get the ambient light only.
Now I wait for them to pop.

Been a week!!
Feral kitten got in our house and we had to let it back out.
Too feral to tame and don't want another one.
Was very cute patchy cat that I call a "cow kat".
Buddy hangs with this kitten and watches over it so I'm sure it'll be fine.

Last night the out back cam caught 2 racoons and a full size skunk feeding out of the kibble dish.
I'm not putting any out there at night no more. haha!

Well 3 popped pretty good too.
They about 1/4 - 1/2 inch above soil and now under the 25% light but off to the side a bit.
The others are still in the dark and not showing yet (Gramp's) WT, the other wt* is mine, Tangi Dream and Runtz.
I'm impatient and once they don't pop right away, I get a bad feeling.

Ordered the rest of my stuff today, from Amazon, so all set for this run now.
Was low on KB dry so ordered it along with KB Liquid + AC Ion side lights and a bottle of GH Rapid Start.
Pretty soon will be mixing up the soil for the gal pots.
Cold and rainy here for the next week, perfect timing to start.
Was not going to but now that I started, I'm happy about it.

Kittens will have to be fixed by next week as I think they are 3 months old at least.
They have to go in for a check up and shots anyway.
The vet will know how old they are for sure.
Last time we thought Panda and Shady were a couple of months old and found out they were almost a year old.
We love these taby twins, they are lap cats for sure.
Ghost is ok with them and so are the other 2. They get along great now. Smellin' each other butts without a hissin'. lol
Ghost in heat and howlin' all over the place especially in the Catio cage.
I try to pet her as she goes by, she's fast and I have to be faster and I am .
When she gets old she won't move as fast but neither will I haha.
Only time I can get near is when I have the food dish, she will glare at me but stay put and I dare not make a sudden move.
Ghost gives me patience that I do not have with growing weed yet.

I took some pic's of the unboxing.
Very good quality and well built. The light bars are heavy, maybe couple of lbs.
I see there is no controller that controlls the light intensity, I guess you buy that seperate.
When I plug it in it's 100%.
I checked one to see how bright and it is super bright unlike my other ones I used last grow.

With that said, i was just informing u that the ion beams come with a digital controller...
Its the small rectangular box in the bottom right side of ur picture #5 from ur post..

If u want a more advanced controller to run threw aci app u gotta buy that separately..

Dont post much cause im not growing currently but wanted to maybe help ya out on letting u no how to control the intensity of lights..

I used SF Glow30 32w sidelights last grow and I believe they helped the lower buds cause they looked larger and harder than without the side lights
or it coulda been a coincidence. I had them about 6" or less, tight up on them. I think they help that's why I doubled down and bought the ion's.
Ya prob won't use the controller on it either.
Man, if I had a nickel for every trick I tried that had no effect on my plants, I'd be rich lol but what fun it is to experiment on these lovely plants.

Plants all up and running but for one Runtz that has a curly tail root,
with no staulk, but has leaves that are barely above ground.
I used some backup seeds to make sure.
So that's why the extra Runtz but no extra TD.
One of the Tangi seeds did not germ or is extra slow.
2 WT's, 1 SDH, 1AHLJ and 2 Runtz but one might not make it or is not strong enough, we'll see.
The 3 backup seeds were soaked in a glass of water overnight them put in damp paper towels
till the next day and all had legs. Either way worked for me but I seem to like
the paper towel method better than sticking in the dirt.
Both work, but seeing the tap root is some how more satifying to me.

Last grow was the first time using the new MH FC 8000 EVO, it's a strong light and that might be one reason my
lower buds were bigger. I believe the sidelights do help to an extent but not sure how much or is it worth
the price tag. I brought the ion's because of the low wattage @ 42w. The Vivosun lumaray side/under canapy
light was 100w and much larger, one piece and more expensive ($109) to buy and run.
I got my SF 4 peice sidelights (32w) I think I will use them both on one side of the grow.
Maybe that way I'll see the difference.

After a few searches I am thinking this one might be best for me.

Sunshine Mix #4: 6 gallons (60%)

Perlite: 2 gallons (20%)

Worm Castings: 2 gallons (20%)

Compost: 0.5 gallon (5%)

I like this mix and will be mixing it up today,
had to order another bag of worm castings, I had everything else.

This is my last grow with Sunshine Mix #4. I ran out finally. Store around here don’t carry it anymore. I had to get ProMix.

I never added any extra perlite. The rest I use just in different amounts. I’m finding it’s a bit tricky to get the nutes right for some strains but I like it better than liquid so far.

Looking forward to see how yours does.

The worm castings & compost only work in veg, our synthetic nutes kill off the microbs so says Google so my final pot soil with be just My VPW30 and perlite, no point wasting it if I'm just killing it. Once I'm out of solo cups my plants take off, I don't know how folks grow monsters in them cause mine start to stunt if I don't transplant out of them early, like 10 -14 days. I feel a sense of relief once I transplant to 1 gal pots. I have 2 that are 10 days older than the rest but now they have been up potted they should catch up fast

Qnight is still not right, hes trying, he comes to me for morning rubs and he was outside this am. I called him in and he came a running but again hes in our bed and not out harassing the other 2 boys. Its a lot more peaceful but my boys sick and I need him better. I've brought him down here the last 3 nights and instead of up prowling hes sleeping on a bed I have made up. Its my soil mixing tub with lid, his black bed covered in a black faux leather cover along side my desk and chair.

When we were at the vets I noticed a sign saying If this sign is lit please quietly respect privacy....I almost lost it there.....If it had of been lit I'm not sure how I'd deal with it. I had my sick boy in his bag and the thought.....is more than my feeble addled mind can handle.

We got snow, not much but it's freezing outside and I feel for those cats that live out there.
So I put in a cat door to my "pantry", as I call it.
It's a addition to the kitchen that leads to the back of the house.
I put a water dish and 2 feed dishes and a warming pad plugged into the light.
I put the pad in a big box with some old flannel shirts I did not want.
Teaching them to use the magnetic door was hard so I duck tapped a string and tied it to a nail to hold it open.
Closing it lil by lil till they get it.
Buddy and cow kat kitten using it but take off when I open the kitchen door, then come back in when I close it, lol.
They don't like noise and they will calm down when used to it.



Check on the plants and they looking real good after that light feed.
Less than a week till tranfere to the gallon pots.

I'm much more confident in my plants once they are out of the solo cups. They get some funky leaves sometimes bur once they hit the 1 gal pots they take off. I turn the pots on 2- days after transplanting and top feeding just once at transplant

Hey I remove the metal clip on the cat door, it just pops off and there's no more magnet. My boys wouldn't push hard enough to open it and meowed for me to m,open it for them, so off it came and they barge through now. We hear a whack in the living room when Qnight barges through. Coal as well but he doesn't fly though it like Qnight when hes being frisky

Hey, well he is eating, not much but tonight after diner he came out for his pats.He seems a bit perkier.He has a routine with me, he counts on, he gets a rough up from me, just a hard patting and bum pats he loves it, I call it his mauling. He eyeballs me if I don't sit up and give him what he wants, then out come the claws on my knees, just a reach up and extend the claws, slowly, I soon get the...point...lol....pay attention to me....But hes sleeping on my wifes legs now so a plus there

Well it's Sunday and I like to watch my team Buffalo Bills play today.
Also it's the 2nd week, so transplant time is here.
They go into the Gal. pots today.
It went pretty smooth considering I get all excited and confused at the same time.
I put a solo cup in the gal. pot after putting in a few scoops to bring it up to rim lvl.
Then put the pre-mixed soil around the sides, wet it down with pre-mixed water then
take the cup out slowly. I then put the plant into that hole, after turning solo upside down
and removing soil/plant from solo with a lil shake and add more water.
The soil in solo cup must be very moist to hold together.
Used 2 TV trays to put all the stuff, they fold up after use so they come in handy.
Oh and I turned on the big light MH FC 8000 EVO at 24" and 25%
The small TS1000 could not cover the area.
Now we're cookin'

The new White Truffle is awake and already has leaves and 1/4" above ground lvl.
It'll be 2 wks behind but still better than the other one which has not grown or progressed at all.

Ghost does not like it when I enter a room she is in. She skidaddled soon after but I got a pic anyways lol.

take the cup out slowly. I then put the plant into that hole, after turning solo upside down
and removing soil/plant from solo with a lil shake and add more water.
The soil in solo cup must be very moist to hold together.
Used 2 TV trays to put all the stuff, they fold up after use so they come in handy.
Oh and I turned on the big light MH FC 8000 EVO at 24" and 25%
The small TS1000 could not cover the area.
Now we're cookin'

The new White Truffle is awake and already has leaves and 1/4" above ground lvl.
It'll be 2 wks behind but still better than the other one which has not grown or progressed at all.

Hey Qnight is better now,hes back, took a long time I was worried about my boy. The others had relief fora couple of weeks, but Dexter is back in town.

Ghost has soft eyes, they don't look like shes worried about you. I bought a small fishing rod with a ball and fish on the line at the $ store. Best fun we've had in a while. Dusky goes crazy for it. begs me to play with him. The old cloth wavy thing was boring. This thing is unpredictable and I can whip it fast across the floor, it gets his bum wiggling and he chases it down.

I find the play really bond him to me. I'm his favorite. treats when he asks, play time, he sleeps on my back often. I spend a few minutes every day multiple times a day with each of my boys petting, talking, playing, I bring either Qnight or Coal down with me for a short time every night. They get to prowl new places, for a bit as I have a smoke and put my plants to bed. Qnight I bring down in his bag, Coal on a leash, Qnight likes his bag.

We treat them like humans, babies,they get greeted every time we walk in or they walk past us. we do head bumps when coming out of the shower either Qnight or Dusky is standing guard on a highchair or fold down cabinet where we keep towels,our shower Guards from the drain monster I think as the water gurgles away they go into action.....lol

I tried the lickables on Ghost when she was younger but no dice.
She will lick and when we first got her she let us pet when she was eating as
some feral cats will do, I read. But after I picked her up for a sex check, she never forgave us.
Gave her chicken again last night. She still won't eat out of my hand.

Now I got those 2 in the pantry but they let me pick them up and are tame
but I don't think they will aclimate to the inside cat life.
I tried with the cow cat and he did not like it at all.
But they so tame it kills me to see them out this winter.
Winter is a cat killer around here. I've lost 2 or 3 over the years.
I can only do what I can do. I tell myself.

Right now I'm trying to get the feeding under control.
Got a new canned food they seem to like but I'm trying to scale down to only kibble.
They are all hooked on treats! Even Shady who never gave a hoot about them.
Ghost loves them too, I can reach over to give them to her but too close and she bolts.

Plants are droopy this morning, except one.

Such a disaster!
Top Ten shitty things this month.
1. Wife got colitis had to go to the hospital in an ambulance, she' ok now, pretty much.
2. Wife might have a severe case of gout in her right hand, wrist, arm that is very painful. (X-rays were taken and she's waiting for results)
3. I got an MRI for my back + hip today cause it's unreally painful, so much that my legs give out with a lightning strike pain in my lumbar.
3b. Everything started getting so much more worse after 75, fair warning.
4. My 4" occilating fan broke.
5. My very good humidifier broke. Luckly I have the exact same one as a spare I brought from Goodwill 2 years ago.
6. Most of the crop failed and almost all are hanging by a thread. Only one is healthy (SDH)
7. I had to re-plant all except SDH to new basic soil with no amendments. (AI lied)
8. I don't think Tangi gonna make it so I got to germ another seed for her.
9. I don't think WT is going to make it either, so new germ for her also! (The oldest one)
10.The new WT solo cup seedling is doing ok now but stopped growing for a week. (I'm baffled at that one)

Not one lucky break the whole month.
I'm gonna take another shot at the cow cat and see if he/she (Not sure yet) will aclimate to the inside life.
Buddy follows me around outside like a dog lol She's adorable but def an outside cat but might take a shot at her to be inside.

Well. that's what i been doing too busy and too tired and fustrated idk I think my brain is fading out.
I don't think to well anymore and it's getting worse. I quit vodka and only drink one or two beers at night now.
Getting a little worried so I'm doing stretches and excercise as much as I can to build back up but hard with the back thing.
idk just gonna trudge on and hope for the best.
I would post a pic but get sick looking at them. so why bother.

And finally the new WT has another set of leaves but still in the solo for another wk at least.

They are 3 wks as of yesterday. I am pretty sure this is my worst veg ever and I was getting pretty good at veggin'.
Always trying to do something dif or better. My wife says kiss.

Hey November's suck. I'll agree, just spend yesterday in Emergency to get a single pill and prescription. Ai said to get to emergency immediately. Emerg goes meh you can wait all fking day 5,5 hrs to get a pill . My wifes eye cornea transplant isn't working they'll have to do it again, 1/2blind, 1/2 deaf...ya Emergency was full of us old folks, some with just booboo's others in real stress, all pissed off at the lack of care.

Friday I went to start our car and it cranked over very slow, if it didn't start the first time it wasn't going to make it. We went to Costco bought a battery I put it in my basement until I could replace it. It has a small 12ml screw that holds a plate to hold the battery down, Very awkward to get a tool into the screw and undo it.......and replace it.

I drove to the Pharmacy at around noon. I came out and the battery was dead. I waited around for a while then asked the first guy I saw if he had jumpers. No but I live just up the street I'll be right back he said, 15-20 later we jumped the car. I have the battery replaced now...lol...1 day late. Dam good thing it died where it died and when. I could have been in the boonies without a cell phone.....stop at a park to smoke a joint.....yikes. I didn't even have a jacket it was cold but the cars warm.....lol

I was thinking temps for your plants in the big pots but you have 77f, next guess is over watering. They shouldn't have needed feed as of yet with your soil mix, have you fed at all? No cal/mag I hope. I just fed my sprouts at almost a month at ml/gal- 2/2/2/2 /1/2 tsp Epsom salts M/G/B /diamond nectar I also added 1 ml rapid start/gal

I can't stop myself from experimenting to make it better therefore I keep doing it and getting the same results.
Only watered once at the time of transfere to the gal pots, to wet the soil for transfere but after seeing them burning up I flushed and flushed again (2000ppm run off).
The problem is the initial soil mix (again) went with Ai and it didn't dawn on me I went this route before with bad results.
I should have used the Ai in my head instead.
Soil mix was way way tooo hot.

They were fine till the transplant then burnt up immediately.
I yanked them out yesterday and put them in SSM with no additives, maybe that will save a few.
The roots looked like they locked up except one that had good root developement. Forgot which one.
That one Sun Daze Haze is thriving in it!! Just like it should have for the rest of the plants but naaaa.
I guess it'll all be ok, I'm just taking the long way around.

Good thing is I got plenty of seeds and that Sun Daze Haze that Granny gave me for prize (Captain Redbeard Seeds) is
kickin' butt and takin' names. That plant don't care what I throw at it.
Turned the light down to 30% from 35 cause the leaves look a lil curly on SDH.
Time too, I got plenty since I started early.
Got enough smoke to get by till this grow is done and cured.
Soaking 2 seeds WT and Tangi, so anyway it goes I got backup.


I just brought a exercise bike and it will come in handy as I need it and the treadmill I already have.
Brought it for wifey but now I see I'll be using it too.
I checked the mri test report on my hips and back and I need to start to exercise more to keep the old man out.
I keep pretty busy but that's not the same as workin different muscles on the bike or tm.

Yes Its a dam good thing we have good wives, I couldn't do this alone, she stabilizes me and is there when I need help. We've been very lucky with illness, there's been only 1 time I can remember we both went down at the same time. After a trip to Europe we both came down sick. What a sad house hold at that time and we had a store that needed to be open so 1 of us had to be there. That was ugly and we don't want that again. No store now but still I need my plants maintained, last time I got real sick she went down and watered them all for me. They could have used some feed but as long as they got water & she doesn't like the basement, Dark dingy Daddy long legs in the corners...lol Thats the way it was when we bought the place 30+ years ago and she still gets creep'd out down there....lol

The new one is doing great! The old one is kinda recovering but still locked out.
I topped the new one, forgot to sprizt it, so just it looks dry

This one (Sun Daze Haze) I don't have to worry about, it's doing fine.

There are some problems with these and I feel like they need cal mag but leaving them alone for now.
I flushed all of them to see what the ppm is and most had a lvl of 1100 after flushing it dropped to 500ppm.
The last one is Tangi Dream and does not look like it will make it. I just put another seed in pt and should be in the dirt by tomorrow.
I am going to let the pots dry out some before adding anything.
Ph is around 6.5 give or take so I think that's not an issue.
But sure looks like they need something.

Wow, not looking very healthy for that age. I'm not sure what it is but something is definitely off. Looks like a root issue to me. They shouldn't have needed any feed yet. I just fed 2 of my 1 month girls olds for the first time yesterday at 2/2/2/2mlgal and forgot the epsom salts. I can see stripping on my leaves this am from low mag I think it is. I've never foiliar sprayed my plants but I think I'm going to give it a whirl with some Epsom salts. I've read its the fastest way to get it into them.
