Looks like fun. I wanna go fishing now.
Went fishing today. I was suppose to drive today but this is pretty bad IMO. My brake rotors on the trailer are in bad shape from the salt water. I purchased new parts about a week and a half ago but the weather got in the way. Wednesday after 4 hours of work all I had completed was taking 1 rotor and 1 caliper off. Next day I got that wheel completed. Friday, I figured I had a system figured out and I could bang out the remaining 3. Got 1 done. This is the really shitty part. The trailer has a torsion bar axle system. The manufacture wants you to buy a whole new assembly that is just one bolt to mount the spindle and brake system on the torsion axle but they offer replacement parts. I finally figured out what they had done. They used a really high grade of thread lock on the caliper bolts to make it near impossible to remove the caliper. Trying to force people into a 2 to 3 k repair rather than a 500 dollar repair. I think I figured out that problem.
Fishing today was good my buddy and I kept 20 fish. Nothing special but fish tacos and the march madness finals tomorrow.

I used to have a 32' Four Winns on Lake Michigan docked at Grand Haven when I lived in Michigan. I miss fishing for salmon so much. My oldest grew up on that boat. I'll do it again someday.
I lived on the other side of the lake, farmed outside of a town called brucefield .
My brother and i are puttering out to downrig for salmon, smoking a few one the way. We get a few miles out. I stand up have the downriger line in on hand, i grab the cannon ball in the other and drop it in the water without hooking it up.

That what weed does to your brain. o_O

I used 4 downriggers and a couple dipsy divers. Best day I ever had was in 6-8' seas from a big storm. Beat the shit out of us but brought in some nice fish. Got a 36# lake trout full of eggs that day, big enough to get it mounted. I've still got the pics hanging up next to my PC in the basement, if you have looked at any of my videos you have seen them.

That lake trout I caught on lead core line that was out a country mile behind us. Took an hour to get the bitch in, but so much fun. That was back in my drinking days, I probably had a 6 pack just on her.

There is nothing better to make you smile than a great day on the lake when the fish are biting. I remember them like yesterday.

Thanks Mosh. That is what the plan is for now. It was odd because I figured it was rust from the salt water so I was using everything I knew for rust. When I was putting the second wheel back together I saw the thread lock and I was like shit that is what they did. Pretty shitty, they did everything they could to fuck someone up.They used super fine threads on the bolts and I am willing to bet money they increased the thread contact percentage as well. Bolt was covered from one end to the other with thread lock. Not sure if it was just Red or the Green Sleeve lock stuff. As. you mentioned heat is the best option. I just got to work around the rubber brake lines and be careful.
