Horsehair worm they're parasitic nightmares to insects.

The larve are ingested by insects then feed off their host until they're adults, allegedly they can/do make their host seek water in which the adult breaks out to breed and start the cycle again.

first time i ever saw it happen.. she even got a little frost on her already!! it's a great smoke, i'm out of it already from my other harvest. squished most of it and gave my neighbor the rest. so the quicker the better for me!!!

Been out here since the last week of april.....
Nothing is growing outside this year. Even my garden is struggling to get going and thats been in for 5 weeks almost.

i hear ya man, i didn't even start a garden this year.. never found a break in the weather to really start. my main plant supply closed up a few years ago and now plants are way more expensive to get, i was way late and never started seeds so i just bailed for this season. i'll just eat more meat this year and less veggies!!! hehehe

I just put my clones out last weekend~!
On most years I would say I was way too late but this year I am not sure I did not do the best thing in waiting.

We had more rain through the week the river is at a nice fishing height.

I went out on Wednesday night but didn't catch anything or even get a tug, I went back last night for another try and landed a nice sea trout.

Not a record breaker but it's a tug and the tug is the drug!

My hip/leg hurts I'm having trouble walking especially in wet wading boots.

I seen these and thought aye I'll try them they're really light and they have felt soles

It's really bad and tragic and still not over.
A lot of very bad news will happen today. The worst any parent can imagine.
