I've had like nearly
success lately on germination. Just had one peter out after it sprouted a tail but I think it was just a shit seed.
Best I can tell is what I do.
- drop seeds in cup of distilled water for upto 18 hours looking for a tail to show, after 6 hours or so if seeds are still floating I go tap them and try to get them to sink. I remove seeds after 18 hours as I've heard you can drown them.
- I warm some more distilled water and get a few napkins then wet them with the warm water, wringing them out so not soaked you know, then I've been wrapping them around the vertical germinators plate.
- put seeds in the grooves of the plate then lay another couple folded up paper towels over top the seeds, now they are sandwiched between both paper towels.
- I then put the germinator in a ziplock and breath heavily into it before eventually sucking out the air and zipping it closed.
- since winter is well, cold...I've been leaving it in a bag next to my ps4...a dvr box or laptop that is on will put off similar heat to keep em warm enough.
The baggie and the warm part I feel are the most important.
