First up, O.K.C. by Ethos.........only 50% of these sprouted, just bought them too so these are older stock. Plants grew into monsters and major bending has been going on. I was recovering from surgery and wasn't spending any time in the room other than watering so they weren't topped, but were defoliated and lolipopped to make watering easier. Loads of genetics in these, (Wedding Cake x Jilly bean) x Triangle Kush x Mandarine Cookies. Lots to digest right there.....30 day veg, day 46 in flowering. Super chunky top to bottom. Strain says 8-10 weeks, this one looks to be in the earlier side........big, hard, chunky buds for sure.........others to follow when I can get to it.

I remember seeing the Purple Lobster on B2ACGs list.

Glad to hear you are on the mend, getting old ain't for sissies.
I just had my hernia fixed at the beginning of the month.
Robotic surgery is amazing, although I don't remember any of it.

You know, when I smoke i feel like shit for 3 days.....no joke. I'm having a heart procedure next (lol) in a month or two, maybe after that, I'll feel up to it. I took a bite of a 20mg gummie 2 nights ago, almost by accident. I was wrapping some up for a friend, and in the bag was a small piece of one that I used to nibble on a while back. i took what was left of it without thinking almost......I got so f*cked up, I woke the wife to talk with me for a while. I was soooo high, it wasn't enjoyable at all. Although, I got a great night sleep. I really think I've outgrown smoking and gummies anymore.

Also, the last 2 years I've felt like I was in a fog all the time. Between the statins I was taking for cholesterol and the gummies, my head was in a fog. I'm feeling a lot better, much clearer in the mind........

So stopping smoking has made you feel better…..since I stopped heads better lungs cleaner but fuck life’s more boring lol..
I do have cones every now and then with mates .i turn my back to them half pack it so I don’t get too smashed 😂I’m same but with alcohol ,after a good sesh it takes me near a week to feel better..
 
Impacts my heart, get chest pains, for a few days. Future heart catherization to relieve blockage I'm assuming coming very soon after this crop harvest. Doctor was pissed I delayed it, we're now on the outs. lol He said be back within 3 months or else.......lol

Haven't drank since college, it gives me a headache almost immediately. It's easy not to do that, my 2 best friends were alcoholics and died in their 40's and 50's. Not good......

I'm in a couple of football pools, the biggest is a $100k pool.....I came in 2nd a few years ago but since I've been taking statins, lost the clarity of making sharp decisions. Off that shit now and in top 5 in all three contests right now after 3 weeks.

B2ACG's Purple Lobster- some plants yellowed early, others did not. Not sure if led's were too close or they were sensitive to it cause the other side of the room stayed nicely green. Some plants are putting off very nice weight, like this one. Thru 7 weeks flowering today.......

And certainly not last is Ethos Liqueur..........probably not as heavy a yielder as Ethos claims but it still looks great at this point. Everything I'm growing is 8-10 weeks flowering so there is definitely some variance in the room. I may just let everything go to 9.5-10 weeks and just shorten the on-light schedule down an hour each week starting week 8 and reduce the watering a bit. The Liqueur is definitely a looker and could be next months contest winner here.........image.jpg

Also, i'm jumping back up to 24 plants in the room moving forward. I've been only doing 18 to make it easier on myself watering wise but I keep running out and have no back stock what so ever........with the holidays coming and what appears to be a monumentally bad winter, sales normally increase quite a bit this time of year now thru News Year.

I'll have to keep up with the topping and defoliating for sure. Next up will be B2ACG's White Truffle, which looks amazing and some Ethos Chem Funk- Ethos normally does a great job on their Chems and OG's so I'll have some of these in there too.

Notice how healthy this plant is vs. the yellowing Purple Lobster.........makes no sense to me other than some plants are more sensitive. Everything else is exactly equal i.e. fertilizer comes from the same container, lights at the same distance from top of tallest plants, etc., etc..
 
At about 1 hour a day for the UV, but will start increasing that amount. Low amounts of cal/mag and that will end totally by mid next week. Watering daily but on the low side, maybe 1 1/2 quarts, with every 3rd watering at about 160-200 ppm r.o. water. Otherwise up around 340-360 ppm depending. I see some gnats here and there on the yellow sticky traps so I did add a teaspoon to each plant of the nematodes about a week ago. I also added an additional rotating floor fan in the room. And the dehumidifier is set to its lowest setting to try and get the humidity down to 40% or so for better resin production. 20 days from now will be 10 weeks flowering, let's see how long I can hold out.......lol

Speaking of the other place, I see my Orange Gasm thread now has over 208k views.......that's crazy. And it's been locked down since I was booted in 2021....lol

This purple lobster sshz.is this a new strain on the block.i thought I seen it come up when searching for the best strains of 2026..
 
B2ACG had it in his line a couple months back........I ordered it, along with Marshmellow OG, Imperium X and Friday Boof, which all remain in the fridge. I've grown out everything else I had of his, which is quite a bit. Except, his recent White Truffle which I'm growing next.....along side another Ethos strain, probably either Chem Funk or Wrank R2. I just found a bunch of unreleased Ethos strains in the fridge, I checked, all were freebies but never released so I need to go thru those too. I want to say how happy I am with the Ethos stuff, although I hesitate to give them my business since the owner is such an asshole.....

Tomorrow is 8 weeks done flowering, I'll probably wait at least 1 more week before even considering chopping anything........but I expect most will be ready around 9.5 weeks except a few that are behind........I want the extra weight so I'm not rushing anything this crop. But I won't go passed 10 weeks, as I need to start the next strains coming.

So, the Ethos Liqueur is definitely a bit behind the others, probably needing the full 10 weeks to finish up. The O.K.C. and Purple Lobster I will chop this weekend, wait another week for the Liqueur. The lower buds are finishing before the larger colas, but I'll leave them til the end.

I am glad Ethos worked out for you.
I agree its owner is a DB but I have nothing but good to say about the Ethos I have grown.
I just chopped 5 Ethos Hash Plants a favorite of mine since I started growing again.
1/2 a joint blew me away~!

When I saw they were being retired I snatched up two 15 packs.
Last grow was 10 females. I killed the males and then lost 5 of the females [ slacker ].
Next grow [ second 15 pack ] I will choose a male to share a separate tent with 1 or 2 females.
Too good to let just disappear and hard to find.
I saw 10 packs for $100.
Pretty sure they only sold 7 and 15 packs so I would be weary with aftermarket seller that had them still.
 
I just looked for it, no one anywhere has them left.......I did see Ethos is selling some of their strains for Buy 1, Get 1 at www.officialethosseeds.com. Not all the strains mind you, but some. I still have their Chem Funk and Wrank R2 in the fridge, along with some of B2ACG's stuff but for all reading this, USA seeds sales end on December 11th. Back to international deliveries I guess, and I'm sure B2ACG will continue to backdoor his. Oh, I also have some Ethos testers, a Pie hybrid (i'm assuming cherry pie) and I've seen some nice grow on those too. I'll be 71 in March, can't see going on much passed 72 at this point. A lot of my medical people just want me to go on and on, as most are younger and I just make it so convenient for them.......lol

Bros Grim has a collaboration strain with Ricky that's Mr. Soul's hash plant and i bet that's probably good......... $50 for a pack of 9 fem's, but it may be untested, I'm not sure........I may go in that direction.

The package does look correct just the number 10 throws me.
I guess they could be legit since seller says they may be from 2012-2020.
I started growing again around 2020.

I grew the Cherry pie duo and it was good.
I would grow Grape Diamond R2 over and over like the Hash Plant.

Pretty sure @Bandit420 grew the Wrank R2.

just looked..how are they going to tell which seeds are high cannabis seeds. Fuck what a stupid fucking rule ..seeds banned if the THC is over 0.3%. Lol.fuck my niece gets her dope on prescription and she can get high THC cannabis. 🤦🤷‍♂️ Back to how it was at the beginning for you guys.nothings changed for us..

Seeds have no THC and that has been the loophole we have all enjoyed.
Not sure what will happen here but I got enough seeds to make it through this administration.
They may just be trying to fuck it all up like our economy.
Consistent they are, serving the people they are not.
 
So you can still buy high THC cannabis from dispensaries.?

All the dispensaries around me are still open and booming.
I still have NEVER been in one but still managed to smoke everyday for last 10 years ~!
I am not one who thinks it should have been legalized...
Gov't fucks everything up.
Only upside to me is I won't go to jail again for growing.
Fuck them.

The high THC is just a label as I see it and anything under .3% is legally hemp which legal in many forms.
