The Psyche Gardens

Run me through your process.. what's the plan here?
Well it first started as a 4 site aeroponic tote, some died and ended up adding more holes and started more seeds, wanted to let them catch up but didn't have much time, and the big one is gonna get too big, so I went ahead to flower.

High pressure aeroponics.
The roots get misted by water droplets that are 10-50um/micron diameter.

All though mine is currently probably 30-70um, so need to make some adjustments/upgrades to get a consistent smaller average droplet size.

The goal is to get trichoblast root morphology, while maximizing avaiable oxygen to the root system.
those tiny fuzzy roothairs, they are a fuck ton more efficient at nutrient and water uptake.

And I'm also attempting some crop steering, going into Generative, the roots will get more time to dry and won't be as wet before the next misting cycle, currently 2s on, 2 minutes and 15 seconds off, which will increase or decrease by +/- 5-15s,based off root feedback.

As I'm going in to flower we want to promote a Generative Growth pattern, more E.C less water, etc.

Pic below is what HPA roots should look like.

Scrubbed the tote and nozzles, flushed the pump and water line.

Removed a few more big leafs shadowing sites...

Kelp and fulvic foliar before lights on

Littles ones did not like the 650 ppfd, to be expected...cruising back down to 500 at top of the big one.

Things seem slow, just not taking off. Something is holding back the explosive root growth you’re looking for. 🤔
Definitely agree, starting to lean towards root zone temperature and the nozzles not working as they should/ average dropletsize.

The canopy is getting up to 82f, I figure the chamber is probably 75-80 if I leave the door shut, been leaving it cracked now.

IThe mainline job gonna be a mother or are you just fucking around and finding out about mainlining with an experiment? ;pass
I like to train and give the plants structure for yield and sturdier stems.

I sometimes mainline if I have the time.

Some of my first soil "mainlines"

Bunch of new root growth today/daily but it's still slow.

I'm leaning towards average droplet size consistency, root zone temps, and proper timings being the main culprits.

And anything possibly im doing wrong with my solution being antagonistic.

The canopy looks better than the roots though lol.
