Kind of wondering about germination methods preferred and ones that work every time. These look like rockwool cubes. Are they plain or do they have some Xtra growth formula? Are people having more success with the BB vertical germinator?

you can soak seeds in tap water, filtered water, spring water, RO water, Distilled, you're own mixed solution, etc, ones preference really.

i like to give my seeds/seed starts/seedlings a pinch of nutes and i use hypo acid and 34% H2O2 to keep things "sterile"

These look like rockwool cubes. Are they plain or do they have some Xtra growth formula?

RW seems to have a little learning curve for people/some.

those look cool and straight forward, but they do JUST that, Germinate, where with the cubes you can germinate, and grow out a root system, and uppot or move to another system, add more media/coco/perlite/rockwool, transfer to a aero/hydro system, or ebb & flow system, etc....

It can tear apart easily but not too brittle necessarily

Id use one of those VGs too, looks like a nice way to prop some seedlings up and then drop em into a hydro media/system

Probably my personal favorite, for quick and easy, seems, 24-48 hours usually, just simple cup of water, some peroxide.

Just keeping in mind how you want the seedling to develop to and where it's going next

Yea was getting impatient waiting on moms/clones and being able to buy more media to fill the tent up with the bags.....so I'll just play around with Dwc in the mean time

Sucked the Cubes off with the vaccum cleaner to dry them back,(lol), and added only 1-5mL of Solution, I'll have to check over night to make sure they dry completely.

I'll attempt to manually keep them in a certain state of underwatered,/ W%content, and should be able to watch them spit roots out rapidly.

I'll veg for at least one month, which Is usually enough or more than enough, depending if the variables/parameters are kept at optimum conditions, consistently, 24/7

I'll probably be 2 months, though , see how "well" or not they/ I do this run lol


not the happiest starting this way cause it's again not what I wanted/planned to do, and their regs....but oh well

Guess I'll be rotating some plants around.
